Stayed here with last min booking. My rooms was too hot that time so I just open the window.
For those whi want to stay here I suggest prepare small cabin lugggage instead of bring all the lugggae to the room if you got the 1st floor room. Because you need to use the stairs
Anyway this hotel has a pretty decoration for the Christmas

Very good value for money. Kirkenes isn't very big, so everything is within walking distance. No elevator for 3 floors, but a very convenient freight elevator for luggage. On the ground floor, there's a very good Chinese restaurant, the Shanghai. There's a kitchen-dining room upstairs. Photo of the freight elevator and the daylight from my window, at 2:00 a.m.
We saw the Northern Lights on our very first night, which took all the pressure off the rest of our trip – it was absolutely beautiful and magical! If you can only pick one hotel in Kirkenes, this is definitely it. It's the departure point for King Crab fishing tours, and many tourists even take a bus here just to join them.

GGuest UserGreat place to stay if you decided to head up to the northern cape. Also it is a 15 mins drive to a view point to see the northern light. Also a 10 mins drive to the town for food.
FYI: road to north cape will be closed if weather condition is bad, so cater more than 1 night here if you really want to go up to the north cape in winter.
HH&M xxoxxWe had a great stay at this lovely new apartment! The space was clean, modern, and perfectly sufficient for four people. The toilet was spotless, and the location was easy to find with clear instructions. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area!
GGuest UserGreat location to view the northern lights as long as there are clear skies!
Services are not the best as they don’t really have restaurant that you can just step in to eat. A rental car will be great to move from places to places to eat and explore.
GGuest UserGood price value. A quiet hotel close to the center of town. Great breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Only disadvantage was litter at the end of the corridor near the elevators that was not taken away, Maybe because of new years even
PpprwReally love this place, the room and facilities were reasonable with the price and if you come with luck, you can see the Aurora from the balcony!
HHans jr.The hotel and the equipment are a little older, but that is really not a problem, because:
The rooms are large, the beds are wide, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet is large and delicious!
There was no restaurant in the hotel, but on foot there are some well-valued restaurants available.
The parking is behind the house. Unfortunately there is no access to the hotel and you need to surround the house to get in
