⭐️ (Strongly Not Recommended) My stay at A Coral Reefs Resort from 21–23 March started off acceptable, but what happened after check-out was deeply disappointing and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s professionalism and integrity. After I had already left the property and arrived at the airport, I received a call accusing me of being involved in a missing RM1200 reported by three foreign guests. This accusation was based solely on a vague CCTV clip showing me sitting in the lobby and putting something into my pocket. Let me be absolutely clear: such an allegation, made without concrete evidence, is irresponsible and unacceptable. The hotel’s account of the incident was inconsistent and unreliable. I was first told the money was left on a table, and later it was claimed to be inside a pair of pants. The inability to establish even the most basic facts seriously calls into question the credibility of the entire claim. Even more concerning is the timeline. If the alleged incident took place on 21 March, why was I only contacted on 23 March, after I had already checked out and reached the airport? This delay reflects either poor internal handling or a lack of proper investigation. The CCTV clip provided was incomplete and unclear. It merely shows me placing my own personal belongings (my phone and medicated oil) into my pocket. There is absolutely no evidence that I handled or took any cash. Relying on such selective and inconclusive footage to imply wrongdoing is not only unprofessional, but also unfairly damaging to a guest’s reputation. We have formally requested the full CCTV footage to ensure transparency and proper verification of facts. Failure to provide complete and unedited recordings will only further undermine the credibility of this accusation. If this matter is not handled appropriately, we will not hesitate to escalate it through formal complaint channels. Guests should be aware that without clear evidence, this establishment is willing to cast suspicion based on assumptions rather than facts.

An unusual hotel with a special vibe. You feel cared for from the very first minute. Such a warm welcome, with very friendly and happy staff. By the pool, there's a game area where you can play air hockey, darts, table football, and many other games, which gives you the feeling of being at a pool party. At 4 PM, guests are treated to ice cream. There's juice for kids and alcoholic options for adults. Also, each guest receives a drink voucher upon check-in. There's an area where you can watch a football match, and there's cold water available in coolers on every floor. Nearby, there are very nice cafes with local cuisine. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. I highly recommend it. I had a very pleasant and kind experience. I didn't want to leave.

There were 2 nights in the hotel, the area was tidy but no comfort. The people in the hotel are few, the pool is small and green, and the child was very interested in swimming in the basket. It was chosen with the pool, but it was not possible to use it. The location is good, close to the oceanarium and the Chenang Square. Nearby is excellent varung, only there and with whom they met advised it and often met there. Hotel on 1-2 night will go, but not more

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life this is an amazing place to unwind. They offer a small fenced house which is spacious with patio and large room and a working desk. The internet is super fast in the lobby around 750mb, can be a little slower in the last rooms but on an average internet was super fast. The bathroom is open with curtains but there are doors and locks and high fence for privacy. This bothered some guests when I read reviews but it’s just fine. Facilities are good and service also. There is an honest snack bar for late night snacks and prices are as in regular shops. Breakfast choices are plenty which is quite nice and you can have breakfast next to the beach. Although dinner is also served I didn’t try it but reviews were good. The hotel is next to the beach so it’s refreshing with several sun loungers and beach towels provided.z Overall it was a fantastic stay with calm and quiet atmosphere. If you want to relax this is an ideal place. Grab to the nearest beach and shopping mall is approx 10 RM. Airport is 5 mins away.

Lovely Stay – Great Value, Super Comfortable and Friendly Staff! 🥰🥰 We stayed here for one night and had such a great experience! We booked the family of four room even though it was just the two of us — we wanted a big bed each, haha — and it was perfect. The beds were king-size and super comfy, so we both slept really well. The room was clean, spacious and very affordable — great value for money. A kettle and tea were provided, which was a nice touch. There weren’t many amenities, though — just a wall-mounted body wash (no separate shampoo or conditioner) — but for the price, it was still excellent. The staff at reception were so kind and helpful. We asked for a hair dryer and they brought one right away. There’s also a refillable water station between the rooms with both hot and cold water, which was really convenient. We liked the outdoor seating area too and they kindly ask that smokers sit outside with doors and windows closed — which keeps everything fresh inside. We took a Grab to Tengah Beach in the evening — it was quick and cheap both ways. The only small thing to note is that there aren’t many shops within walking distance, but taxis and Grab rides are very affordable. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again! Honestly at first I was contemplating to book this hotel after reading the negative reviews. But I would say my stay was a good experience. The rooms were spacious, clean & facilities was top notch too. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with variety of foods & was available for vegetarian too. I enjoyed my stay here for 3 Nights & it was perfect. The receptionist counter was helpful too. And I went during school holidays & it was public holiday too. The hotel was fully booked & was maintained well too. Looks like they have improved a lot after the complaints by others. I would highly recommend to stay at this hotel because it's very convenient & middle of everything. Only problem is parking but this is just minor issue, everything else was good. Highly recommended to stay here

Nice view of the beach from the balcony and rooftop cafe. The breakfast buffet is decent but we got served nasi tomato instead of nasi lemak with anchovies, sambal, cucumber and peanuts. Basically nasi lemak condiments but without the nasi. But okay je not a big issue. Bilik is cold enough walaupun terik kat luar. Will book here again bila datang Langkawi. Room service pun ada with affordable menu. Their fresh juice sedap cukup rasa.

This hotel was the most pleasant surprise of our entire trip to Malaysia. From check-in to check-out, the staff were incredibly warm and helpful throughout. The hotel has two floors; the second floor mainly houses the lobby, where you can order free drinks, which was a huge plus! There are also three adorable cats roaming around. Every morning, the hotel provides a complimentary special breakfast in the lobby, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into it. The lobby also offers games like Uno, playing cards, and building blocks to enjoy with friends, and there's a pool table near the bar. While the room's style was a bit on the darker side, it had a great design, and the bathroom was very spacious. I'd definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Langkawi~

Amazing stay. Hotel has everything you need, including a prayer mat for Muslim guests, which was very thoughtful and appreciated. The view is absolutely beautiful, really on the sea. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant experience. Highly recommended!
