The view from this hotel is absolutely stunning; you can see the entire Sassi district at a single glance. It’s also very easy to access by taxi, which is a huge plus in Matera. The room was spotless, including the bathroom and sink, and the staff welcomed us with such warmth. The breakfast was delicious, but the view from the breakfast area was the real highlight. Having breakfast here felt like a sightseeing experience in itself. If you're coming to Matera, I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

The room is very nice, the balcony is really amazing, and the scenery is looking out. The room is quite big, all aspects are very clean Breakfast is delicious and rich in variety In addition to not bringing a large suitcase, it is really inconvenient, walking up and down are stairs But it's a good fit for the landscape. The booking is a bit disgusting, it can't be cancelled, I found that the last day was 500 cheaper, so I wanted to cancel the reservation, but I didn't let the cancellation.

Very enjoyable stay. Lovely staff. Nice coffee and breakfast though quite simple. Would have liked some fresh orange juice in the morning rather than the cheap from concentrate stuff. Very happy on the whole though. On the whole good value for money for the sleeping in a cave house type place in Matera. Extra marks for the hotels dog Peggy who is adorable :D

A small charming place with very friendly hosts. The room was clean and bathroom was modern. There’s a breathtaking view of the Sassi just a couple of steps away from the place. The hosts were helpful in suggesting possible parking areas. Do note that the parking is some distance away so be prepared if you are coming with heavy bags.

This is probably the best hotel in Matera based on what we read before traveling. The service is exceptional , very helpful and friendly staff. The room is spacious, very clean and cozy. We had a small balcony with a very nice room. The restaurant that was recommended to us was also amazing. Highly recommend!

Good service for picking up guests from car park. Breakfast was included, pretty ok selection. Room is large but toliet wall was very bad maintain and dirty. Selfs and table.has ants. The overall was fine but need some improvement on the bathroom wall. Same cost of bookings, some rooms are big, some are small.

Love the experience at Le Do…v lovely stay right in the unesco site of Matera of the sassi…lots of climbing ups n downs…so b prepared! Pls use their luggage transfer service! It’s super useful! Tq for the yummy breakfast as well n the photos n story behind each room . 100% worthwhile experience!

The room is spaciousand beautiful .... the location is great as well .... my only grievance is that if you drive, then from parking lot to the hotel is quite a distance and the road is not easy to walk....

Only 10 minutes walk from the main attractions Accommodation facilities are very new and clean Unfortunately, there is no view. Hotel staff is very friendly The hotel also has a self-funded parking lot It's safe.
