GGuest UserWhen I arrived at the hotel before 7 o'clock, I was nervous because the entrance door was closed, but when I looked around the intercom, there was a call code on it, so I just had to press it. I went inside just as the other guests were coming out. All the staff were kind and greeted me with a smile, making me feel at ease. A bottle of wine was included in the room and it was delicious!

GGuest UserThe guesthouse is on a lower stay standard than the hotel itself, however, for a single night the difference is not hugely important. I found the lack of soundproofing and creaky floors to be bothersome, next time I will stay in the hotel part of the establishment. However, for cost-conscious travellers, the guesthouse is still a great option, especially if you are in transit only.
AAnonymous UserStayed in the comfort twin room, the shower and beds are only separated by a thin curtain, there is no opaque door for the shower only a fully transparent shower screen. If you are traveling and staying with friends please take note it may be awkward as you can see the other person taking a shower if you want to walk past the shower area to the toilet.
Very bad room design, how can there be no door to the shower!

RRomstarFun from the very start. You gò to reception on floor 1/2 in a moaning old lift. Lovely staff, very helpful and accommodating. You couldn't get any closer to St. Stephens cathedral!! The room we stayed in was a studio on the 4th floor, but facing away from the views. No problem, as it's right outside the front door!! Close to many wonderful sights, metro, trams, and bus stops. Some of the kitchen items could do with an upgrade. Unsure if off season travel and prices effected the cleaning service? But we saw leftover moments from previous guests all over the room. And we couldn't make the tv work, but who needs tv when in Budapest??! But for short-term term visit, great central location!! 👍
PpharmacistoffdutyExcellent location, just right in front of the Tram Line 1 which links you everywhere. Room and toilet are spacious. Helpful front desk staffs and quiet hallway, you don't hear people's conversation from your room.
Will definitely stay here again if we're returning to Budapest.
LLouis JoeThe bed was clean, cosy, and inviting, offering a comfortable place to unwind after long days. Sleeping arrangements were clearly well taken care of, contributing to a restful experience. The room met expectations in both comfort and cleanliness. Facilities were in good working order and caused no issues. As a whole, the stay was pleasant and free of hassle.
AAnonymous UserThe room was quiet, but in the evening there was some rattling and footsteps from the room upstairs, which was disturbing. The breakfast was good, but I have experienced better ones, there could have been more fresh salads. We stayed 4 nights, before the last night the room was not cleaned, even though we left a note on the door at 11 am: it can be cleaned. The cleaning trolleys were still in the hallway by our room. Our friends' room was cleaned every day. So the service was variable. The air conditioning worked well, once you learned how to unlock it. The beds were good. If you choose twinbeds, they are just moved apart and the passage to the glass-walled shower and washbasin is very cramped. You had to move the beds together if you wanted to walk without falling. Our friends' room was different, the space next to the beds was wider. A separate toilet is a good idea, but there should have been a small hand basin, especially if the toilet is in the hallway and the basin is on the other side of the room. The floor of each room is slightly different. Typical 3 star hotel.
GGuest UserConvenient airport hotel with clean rooms
A22 Hotel is very close to the airport. A taxi or Uber ride costs around 4,800–5,300 HUF (about €13–14). In the early morning, Uber usually takes around 10 minutes to arrive, so it’s better to book in advance. The drive to the airport crosses railway tracks, but the airport itself is small, and early-morning check-in and security are relatively fast.
There were not many people having breakfast early in the morning, which made it calm and easy.
The room was clean and the bed linen was very fresh. One small note: the toilet flush works best when pressed firmly. There are some food delivery options available, but there isn’t much nearby.
It’s worth noting that the hotel is quite far from the city center. Public transport takes around 1 hour to reach downtown and usually requires waiting, maybe not such long time to explore the city if not having one taxi.
Overall, a practical option for an early flight or a short stay near the airport.
__yt60174****This hotel was truly amazing! From the airport, take the 100E bus, one stop away, to Kalvin ter (HUF 2500), which is then just a few hundred meters away on foot. The location is fantastic. The room, while small, was perfectly spacious for a single person. There was a convenient outlet near the bed, and the shower had excellent water temperature and pressure. While the hallway's soundproofing was a bit lacking, it was surprisingly quiet outside my window. This was the most satisfying of my three stays in Budapest.
