After the airport bus leaves the city, you need to get on and off the subway station or take a long detour to cross the road. (Be careful when carrying heavy luggage) The hotel is on one of the first floors of the building. Please pay attention to the service hours of the building gate/reception desk, otherwise you may touch the door nail.

Hotel Review: A Cozy Stay in Budapest I recently had the opportunity to stay at a hotel in Budapest, and my experience was quite pleasant. Overall Ambiance: This hotel offers a more home-like environment rather than the traditional professional hotel experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, which made it easy to unwind during my stay. Location: While the hotel may appear to be slightly distant from the city center, I found that accessing the main attractions was not an issue. With a variety of convenient transportation options, including trams and the metro, reaching the heart of Budapest was straightforward and manageable. It’s an ideal location for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city while still being easily connected. Service: The receptionist staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I appreciated their attentiveness; they would knock multiple times before entering the room, ensuring guest comfort and privacy. Additionally, the option to store my luggage at the hotel after check-out was a significant advantage, allowing me to explore the city without the burden of my bags. Room Comfort and Amenities: My room was spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was decent, providing a good night’s sleep. Despite my short one-night stay, I found the accommodations to be more than satisfactory. Dining: The breakfast section offered a variety of options, making it a pleasant way to start the day. I found the selection to be adequate and enjoyable, contributing to a positive overall experience. Conclusion: In summary, if you’re seeking a quiet retreat away from the city’s hectic pace, this hotel in Budapest is a commendable choice. With its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and accessible location, it provides a comfortable base for both short and extended stays. My experience was quite satisfactory, and I would recommend it to others looking for a relaxed stay in Budapest.

Very good location, but you might need to bare in mind that it is in the city centre so it will be loud during the night. It located just right next to St. Stephen’s square. Walkable distance to the river.

I had urgent night to stay. Difficult to find because no sign, luckily when I arrived the lady at counter still there to help me contact staff and they are were nice.  Hotel staff add my WhatsApp guide how to check in. But it will be more easier if you just make check in instructions by photos send to WhatsApp. Unlock the door need to download app which it very difficult if you no internet. Toilet no curtain to prevent water when I use their bath towel wipes toilet floor was dusty. Hotel not provide drinking water.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate. The water pressure was excellent, and the large bathtub made for a relaxing soak. However, there was no fridge or kettle in the room, though hot water was available on the first floor.

1. Check-in is a bit troublesome: --Download an app called Guestavisor, fill in information, and upload ID photos; --Go to the front desk to pick up your room key, which is about a 20-minute walk from the accommodation; 2. The building entrance uses a code system. After entering the code, you must push the door immediately when it beeps, otherwise it will lock; 3. The elevator is currently out of service, but many apartments are on the 3rd or 4th floor. Be cautious if you have large suitcases. If you need assistance, you need to make an appointment with the staff in advance; 4. Cleaning is not provided during your stay and requires an extra fee; 5. There are many trash cans on the first floor, which are quite smelly; 6. The location is excellent, with a very close tram. It's a little far from the subway station, about a 9-10 minute walk; 7. The room facilities are good, and the cleanliness of the apartment area is excellent. The apartment itself is fine, the heating is sufficient, and the Wi-Fi signal is good. In conclusion, considering the price and location, I shouldn't ask for too much. So I still gave it a high score. This is just to set an expectation for other people who want to stay here.

Ibis Styles Budapest Airport

I initially chose this hotel because it was listed as an airport hotel, claiming to be a 2-minute walk from the airport. Since my pick-up time was 7 AM, I booked it. However, I wasn't entirely convinced, so I called Trip.com to confirm the location. They informed me it was 14 km from the airport and offered no shuttle service. This startled me, and I requested to cancel and choose another airport hotel. Trip.com said a refund was possible and asked me to wait a few hours. To my dismay, I received an email at midnight stating it was non-refundable. Reluctantly, I stayed at this hotel, and to my surprise, it was indeed just a 2-minute walk to the right from the airport exit. No trouble was caused, but I do have feedback regarding Trip.com's unfamiliarity with their services or poor collaboration with local suppliers. The hotel itself was fine. The room was very small (16 sq.m.), typical for a European Ibis, which is understandable. Although it was a bit expensive, breakfast was included, so no complaints there.

Anna Hotel Triumvirate (Budapest) - 5-Star Review Highly recommended (5 stars) for the Anna Hotel Triumvirate Budapest! A comfortable and relaxing stay made it an ideal choice for exploring Budapest! The hotel boasts a superb location in a quiet residential area in the city center. It's just minutes' walk from the metro and tram stations, offering excellent public transportation access. Popular landmarks such as the Hungarian National Museum, the Synagogue, and the Ruins Bar are all within easy reach, making sightseeing extremely convenient. The hotel's exterior is elegant and refined, while the interior features a modern and trendy design with vibrant color schemes. The spacious and comfortable common lounge area has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are clean, tidy, and newly renovated. Completely upgraded in 2025, the facilities are new and complete. The rooms are well-soundproofed, ensuring a quiet environment even in the city center. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathrooms have ample hot water and stable water pressure. Free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the rooms provides smooth and uninterrupted service. Attention to detail is evident throughout. The service is impeccable. The front desk staff are warm, friendly, and multilingual. Check-in and check-out are efficient and quick, and services such as luggage storage and route information are provided patiently and attentively. The hotel thoughtfully provides complimentary tea, snacks, and coffee throughout the day, allowing guests to relax at any time – a considerate and thoughtful touch. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including hot and cold dishes, fresh fruits and vegetables, and specialty breads, all made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors to start your day right. The hotel boasts comprehensive facilities, including a casual bar, a courtyard lounge, and private parking, making it perfect for independent travelers, groups of friends, or short business trips. Overall, it offers exceptional value for money, with its environment, cleanliness, service, and location all top-notch, exceeding expectations for a truly exceptional stay. I highly recommend this hotel when traveling to Budapest; the experience was outstanding, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time!

A22 Hotel Gyál

Convenient airport hotel with clean rooms A22 Hotel is very close to the airport. A taxi or Uber ride costs around 4,800–5,300 HUF (about €13–14). In the early morning, Uber usually takes around 10 minutes to arrive, so it’s better to book in advance. The drive to the airport crosses railway tracks, but the airport itself is small, and early-morning check-in and security are relatively fast. There were not many people having breakfast early in the morning, which made it calm and easy. The room was clean and the bed linen was very fresh. One small note: the toilet flush works best when pressed firmly. There are some food delivery options available, but there isn’t much nearby. It’s worth noting that the hotel is quite far from the city center. Public transport takes around 1 hour to reach downtown and usually requires waiting, maybe not such long time to explore the city if not having one taxi. Overall, a practical option for an early flight or a short stay near the airport.
