I found this hotel online using a map, and it's within walking distance to the Tianmen Mountain cable car. The front desk staff, especially the lady, was very enthusiastic and helpful. We checked out the next day, but our car was still parked at the hotel. We didn't pick it up until around 5 PM. The staff member told us not to worry about leaving it there, which was very kind. This hotel is really great for self-driving travelers!

The family who owns the hostel is kind and very helpful. The house and the rooms are beautifully designed and to sit on the balcony, overlooking the water, and the boats is amazing. It's the center of town and close to the bus stop or taxi pick up area. The hostel is very clean, there are umbrellas in case it rains and always fruit on offer.

Choosing this hotel for my trip to Changsha was definitely the right decision! Its biggest advantage is the unbeatable location, right by the Wuyi Square subway exit. It's literally a 10-meter walk from the subway, and you can reach IFS, Huangxing Square, and Pozi Street all on foot. It's incredibly convenient for anyone who loves to explore on foot. I specifically upgraded to a 7th-floor room at check-in, and it was totally worth it. The rooms on the 7th floor are incredibly spacious, unlike the cramped feeling you sometimes get in other hotels. The facilities also seemed newer than those on lower floors, making for a very comfortable stay. The complimentary evening porridge was a thoughtful touch too – coming back after a day of sightseeing and having a warm bowl of porridge was just perfect for my stomach. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Changsha! 👍

Overall, it was a great stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the North Gate of Taiping Old Street, making it easy to catch a taxi. It's just a few minutes' walk to Wuyi Square Station, which serves Metro Lines 1 and 2, and it's also close to the riverside. This area offers a wide variety of dining options, from snacks and noodle shops to beverage stores, Hunan restaurants, and other cuisines. Although our room faced the street, closing the window and drawing the curtains effectively blocked out any noise. Exiting from the South Gate and walking along the road, you can reach IFS, Pozi Street, and Huangxing Pedestrian Street within about ten to fifteen minutes. Popular restaurants like Ben Luobo, Dawanshishang, and Luge Restaurant are all less than a five-minute walk from the hotel.

I stayed here with my sister and we absolutely loved it! The owners were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help us and make us feel welcome even though they didn’t speak English! We stayed here 3 nights but wish we had stayed longer! They took care of booking all of our activities for us and even messaged us when we were out to ensure that we had found our way alright! The location was also excellent with beautiful views from the roof deck of the mountains as well as a washer/dryer free to use! We even had an amazing view of the mountains from our room!

Great small hotel! As soon as we found the entrance, the staff (chi-chi?) was super sweet and kind. Her communication was very clear and organised our ride back to the airport after checkout. Every time we arrive or leave our room, she would greet us every time. Room was as excepted - clean, lots of room. Room got cleaned every day. Downside, was that there was construction outside our window, but the staff provided us with some earplugs (It wasn’t that loud and we were out most of the day, so it wasn’t much of an issu). Very close to Tianmen mountain and there were so many options on food/ coffee/ massages. Good experience overall!

A satisfying stay. I choose this hotel every time I come to Chenzhou. It is very cost-effective and the service is very good. There are breakfast shops, late-night supermarkets, and bus stations next to it, which is very convenient. There is a laundry room, dryer, hotel, and parking lot on the third floor. It is fully equipped and very convenient. The front desk lady checked in with two people and specially upgraded the room for free, which is very considerate.

The overall stay experience is great! The e-sports equipment configuration is very high, the computer runs smoothly, the large-scale games are fully open and the picture quality is not stuck, and the network speed is stable and there is no delay. The room is clean and tidy, there is no smell, the tables and chairs are comfortable, the sedentary playing games are not tired, the front desk service is warm, the price is very high, the first choice for black, come back next time!

The location is great, with plenty of restaurants and bubble tea shops nearby. The street is lively at night. It's a bit of a distance from the scenic area's East Gate, but you can easily take a taxi. The decor is also very unique, and the kids loved it.

1. The room was extremely dirty, like a cheap motel. There was hair everywhere, and the bathroom floor was filthy. 2. The hotel's terms and conditions are unfair. Hourly rates start from the booking time, not the arrival time. 3. Hourly rates are already limited, and the room card kept malfunctioning, requiring multiple trips downstairs to get a replacement. Is this your problem or mine? 4. The housekeeper took the power key from the room (although they apologized afterward). I'm not being unreasonable, but when someone was checking in, the number light outside was on. Why did the housekeeper enter without permission? The hotel management is seriously out of control. 5. All the stars above are based on the fact that the receptionist on the first floor was friendly. 6. One of the dryers in the laundry room on the 8th floor was broken.

GGuest UserHygiene: Extremely clean, one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in! They also provide a lot of disposable toiletries and sanitizing products, offering everything you could think of and more, very thoughtful. Facilities: Projector, tea ceremony table, makeup mirror, bathtub, electric curtains. Environment: The decor is simple and looks very comfortable. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable. It's a 5-minute walk to the iconic gate, 7-8 minutes to the East Gate entrance turnstile, and a 16-minute walk to the Charming Xiangxi show theater. There are many delicious restaurants and several breakfast spots around the guesthouse, very convenient! Service: For this trip, I asked the owner to help book group tickets, which saved me a lot of money overall. The owner is very enthusiastic, not only helping to plan the itinerary but also almost instantly replying to any questions. Seeing that I was traveling alone and might feel unsafe, the owner even picked me up and dropped me off for the Charming Xiangxi show, which was very thoughtful. When I left, they also proactively helped me find a shared ride. They truly made my trip very comfortable and perfect, I'm so, so happy! 😁 I highly recommend this guesthouse! 👍🏻

CChaya🇨🇳 Ho Perfect if you're entering via the East Gate! Beautiful rooms, amazing service. Keep this in mind for your trip! 📌 🛏️ 1. Exactly as pictured & Great value for money - The room is fantastic, very new, and spotlessly clean. I booked a room with a bathtub and got the 4th floor. It looked exactly like the photos. The price in late March was amazing—less than $30/night (getting a bathtub at this price is super worth it!). The furniture looks brand new. - The bathroom is great, with clearly separated wet and dry zones. It has a smart toilet with a heated seat and auto-flush! - Amenities are quite complete. However, the hotel provides disposable towels. If you have a larger build, they might not cover you completely (I'm petite, so it didn't bother me), but the material is highly absorbent. - Good to know: the building has an elevator, but you do have to carry your luggage up a few steps to reach the entrance, so it's not 100% wheelchair accessible. But once inside, you can comfortably use the elevator without carrying your bags up to the higher floors. 📍 2. Quiet location but easy to get around - The hotel is slightly tucked away from the busy, bright areas, making it very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. - Getting to the park is super easy. You can catch a Didi to the East Gate, and it’s very cheap—only about $0.70 per ride. - As for food, even though it's not right next to convenience stores or restaurants, you can easily order food delivery. If you want to eat out, you can take a Didi or walk to the restaurant area. It's not far, less than 1 kilometer away. 👩🏻💼 3. Friendly owner & Excellent service - The owner manages the reception herself and is extremely hospitable. She gives great advice on exploring the park. Whether you plan a 1-day or 2-day itinerary, she can recommend the perfect walking route. I planned a 2-day trip, so she suggested entering via the East Gate on the first day and the South Gate on the second day. - She is always in a good mood and genuinely seems to love her work. Her bright energy makes talking to her an absolute joy 🤣 I was so impressed! - Her English is okay for basic communication, but for convenience and speed, we used WeChat. The translation feature made it smooth, and we understood each other perfectly. 🎟️ 4. Better ticket discounts through the hotel - I highly recommend this! If you need tickets, let the hotel book them for you—the prices are actually better than booking through popular travel apps. - Whether it's the national park ticket (she also helps book your entry time slot for every day you plan to visit—though if you want to change the time, you need to ask her to update it for you), Baofeng Lake, or the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, she can get them at a cheaper price. - Another perk is the unpredictable weather in Zhangjiajie. Letting her book day-by-day or close to the date means you don't have to risk booking too far in advance. I changed my plan easily because of fog and rain, and it was completely stress-free. 🚑 5. A personal note of gratitude (why I'm writing this review so long) Late at night on March 25th, I had a medical emergency. I reached out to the owner, and she was incredibly helpful. She actually left the hotel counter to take me to the hospital and helped sort everything out 😭🙏 (I truly apologize to the other guests staying that night!). I was so touched and grateful, and didn't know how else to repay her, so I wanted to write this review to pass on the good word. Summary: This stay was super comfortable and truly heartwarming. Not only because of how much she helped me, but the rooms and facilities are genuinely excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay, please keep this hotel in mind! ❤️

GGuest UserI initially thought I was just staying for one night, but the room amenities and service completely won me over. It was so clean and comfortable that I didn't even want to leave the room. The thoughtfulness was top-notch. Next time I'm in town, I'm definitely booking this place again! The room facilities were sparkling new, hygiene was perfect, and the service was gentle and unobtrusive. It was more comfortable than my own home; I already didn't want to check out. The hardware is excellent, service is on point, and the attention to detail is superb. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was delightful – this is how a hotel stay should be!

GGuest UserMy best friend and I came to Changsha for a trip, and we chose this guesthouse based on its aesthetic appeal – it truly exceeded our expectations. It's located inside an alley but very close to the entrance, so there's no need to worry about safety. The location is absolutely fantastic; you can walk directly to attractions like Wuyi Square, Huangxing Walking Street, Pozi Street, and Wenheyou. It's also walkable to popular restaurants like Cuiyan Xiaochao Huangrou (Stir-fried Beef), Ben Luobo, and the famous Black Classic Stinky Tofu – incredibly convenient. Regarding the service, the customer service via WeChat was incredibly responsive and helpful, always addressing any questions or concerns. When we checked in, they even helped us with our luggage. Every evening, there's complimentary late-night snack, and the mung bean soup is absolutely delicious. The facilities are also excellent; the washer-dryer combo was very useful. I highly recommend this guesthouse. It excels in safety, photo-friendliness, and convenience.

GGuest UserThis was our favourite hotel in China! We stayed 4 nights and were welcomed like family. Our room was huge with a lovely living room and the best thing, it had great toys for the kids. The view was Lovely, we loved the location down the side street right near the school and our room was so comfortable . It was also my son’s birthday and the hotel owner and her family bought him the most awesome birthday cake and delivered it to our room and even sang for him. He felt so special. You have to stay here!

SShengzhewuxinThis was my third trip to Zhangjiajie, and after visiting the bustling East and South gates before, I decided to enter through the West gate this time. This guesthouse is absolutely a hidden gem nestled within the mountains and rivers of Zhangjiajie, offering the most healing and immersive nature experience I've ever had. The guesthouse is located inside the West Gate scenic area, right next to Xiangzi Stream. To check in, you first cross a covered bridge, with the clear, gentle sounds of the babbling stream all around – just listening to it is incredibly therapeutic. You could easily spend a long time just daydreaming on that bridge. Surrounded by mountains and forests, the air is fresh and moist. There's no noisy crowd, just the chirping of birds and the accompanying stream, truly making you feel like you're living within the scenery. It's very friendly for self-driving tourists. You can drive your car directly into the scenic area. Just contact the owner in advance, and they'll come out to greet you, guide you to parking, and even have charging piles available. It's about a 500-meter walk to the Yangjiajie cable car, so getting up a bit early allows you to get ahead of the crowds. A quick start often leads to a quick journey overall, helping you avoid the throngs in the evening. I absolutely must give a special shout-out to the landlady. She is incredibly warm and thoughtful. I learned through conversation that she used to be an executive at an international five-star hotel brand. Because of this, the guesthouse exudes professionalism and refinement, from its service to its amenities. The bedding (the same kind used in Grand Hyatt hotels), towels, and toiletries are all configured to five-star hotel standards, offering a soft and comfortable feel. The mattress, in particular, is perfectly balanced – not too soft, not too hard, with excellent support. Combined with the quiet surroundings and falling asleep to the sound of Xiangzi Stream, my sleep quality was superb, and all my travel fatigue was relieved in just one night. The guesthouse is relatively new, so all the facilities are pristine and well-maintained, clean, tidy, and stylish. I highly recommend room 101, a stilt house (with a 270-degree mountain view). The view is absolutely stunning; opening the window reveals lush green mountains and a flowing stream, with distant mountains and nearby water all within sight, providing an unparalleled viewing experience. Nearby, you can pick fresh wild vegetables and organic vegetables grown on-site. They are picked fresh from the fields, ensuring tender, pollution-free ingredients. The guesthouse also provides a kitchen for guests to use, so you can cook the wild vegetables and organic produce you've picked into homemade dishes, savoring the fresh and natural taste. During leisure time, the owner also prepares high-quality mulberry tea and coffee beans. Sipping tea by a fireside in the courtyard, admiring the mountain views, and listening to the murmuring stream – these slow-paced moments are incredibly relaxing and comfortable. It's truly the life one dreams of. It's perfectly suited for an extended stay.

The decor is simple yet elegant, and the mattress and pillows are just the right firmness – excellent value for money! I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time. There's a mall downstairs, which makes shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Both the adults and kids had a great time!

SSurajRA beautiful hotel in traditional Chinese style with stunning views of the waterfalls. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a larger room with easier access, perfectly suited for our big suitcases. They also arranged convenient pick-up and drop-off services, provided a detailed map of the area, and highlighted the must-see shows nearby. The free breakfast was authentically Chinese, featuring boiled eggs, steamed buns, noodles, a leaf-wrapped sweet dish, and local tea. Overall, our experience here was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

GGuest UserBest hotel ever. 1. The room was big, comfortable and clean. The bed was also comfortable. 2. Amazing view (see photo attached)! 😍 3. The staff was very kind and helpful. The receptionist organized our 3 day trip free of charge and he did an amazing job (fast entries, not too crowded, everything was smooth), he saved us a lot of time and even explained the plan perfectly. They were available on wechat and replied very fast 😁 4. We destroyed our hair dryer and they gave us a new one without making us feel bad or even compensate for it. 5. The location is amazing, near the river, center of a city and even park entry (10-15 min walk) Do not hesitate and stay here ☺️

GGuest UserThe location is good, right at a food street, so breakfast and dinner are convenient. The room is clean and tidy. The landlady is very nice; she gave a detailed introduction to the attractions and offered great suggestions. The room rate is moderate, and a taxi to the East Gate from just outside the hotel costs the minimum fare, only about 1 kilometer, but the room price is much cheaper than hotels right at the East Gate!
