When we arrived at the Hotel Ibis, we were not given the rooms which we h ad reserved. Both of us couples were given different rooms for which we each paid. When we arrived home I realized that we had paid twice for out rooms. I contacted trips.com and spoke to a gentleman who assured me that I would receive a refund for the $236.60 for the rooms which I had reserved. I have still not received that refund. This hotel was perfect for our first visit to Iquique, the staff spoke English and were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially with our limited Spanish. The room had a great view and was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were always friendly. The restaurant and bar on the top floor was fantastic and I can’t commend them highly enough, we thoroughly enjoyed their recommendations. The views and sunsets were just amazing.
