I especially want to praise the macarons! They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and not too sweet. Perfect! The bedding and service are both up to standard! Every time I come here, I stay at this hotel."

"The epitome of style over substance. The most common sign in this hotel is "Watch Your Step" – why on earth does a hotel have so many steps?! I twisted my ankle before even getting to my room! The service is equally backward; staff are more concerned about not getting penalized by the hotel than ensuring customer satisfaction. I took my child to the outdoor pool and repeatedly explained I was just supervising and wouldn't be swimming myself. My child was wearing a swim cap, but we were still denied entry because I, the adult, wasn't wearing one! When I tried to reason with them, the lifeguard just said, "Don't make it difficult for him..." Thank goodness I only booked one night!"

The room size is OK, the health is in place, the water pressure is a bit small, the bathroom floor drain in the big bed room is more affected to fall asleep. Everything else is great! "This was a perfect hotel for us to spend 10 days in Xinxing. Fantastic location, very close to everything we needed (especially the coach station across the road as we returned to Hong Kong from there). The staff are all lovely and super-helpful, very nice restaurant and loads of other places to eat nearby. The room was plenty large enough for us and nice & clean. Plenty of water, tissues, tea provided every day. Hotel WiFi works well but we mostly used our own SIM cards as they skip over the firewall. We are already looking forward to returning next year!"

"We took advantage of the summer vacation to bring our kids to Xinxing for a two-day trip, and we were very satisfied with our stay. I made a mistake in booking a room, but the front desk patiently explained it to me, and after paying the difference, we ended up staying in a family suite. The view from the room window was beautiful; the sea of clouds over the distant mountains after the rain was stunning, a truly uplifting experience. This Vienna Hotel was very clean, and the service was incredibly attentive. When we asked the front desk where to go and what to eat, they were very patient and helpful. The housekeeping staff were also very polite. Oh, and the lobby had mung bean sweet soup, which was delicious—smooth and silky. The kids all tried it and said it was great. It was excellent value for money, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend everyone to stay and try it."
