It turned out to be the best decision of our trip. **Highlights:** The Team: The owner, Marcel, and the caretaker, Nora, are wonderful people. Marcel speaks great English and is incredibly helpful. Plus, their dog Tatang is a total sweetheart! Digital Nomad Paradise: The entire hotel feels like a giant, comfortable workspace. It’s perfect if you need to get things done while enjoying nature. Location & Comfort: It’s centrally located but feels like living in a private "garden home." It has everything you could possibly need. We truly felt like we were leaving family behind when we checked out. We will definitely be back!"

"The rooms are in blocks that are located in lovely gardens. There are many flowering plants which attract birds including hummingbirds. There is a beautiful pool. The grounds are very peaceful. The breakfast buffet is delicious with lots of fruit, juices, breads, and main dishes. The rooms are large and comfortable. I recommend taking ear plugs as there are many celebrations in this area and some of the noise can be heard from the hotel."

"Beautiful new hotel on the way to Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu. Pulled off the dusty, windy road and walked into a sanctuary of calming music, friendly staff and a place with great energy. We took advantage of the great food, pool, foosball table, ping pong and the small gym then the next morning we walked around the big grounds to the west where apparently great things are under construction. They permitted us to bring our dog which was great and made our weekend very relaxing since we did't have to leave her behind. The circular walkway to the top of the hotel was great for getting a lot of walking in since I didn't feel comfortable walking on the very busy road. We had a Jr Suite with a jacuzzi that was very nice with a great view of the frog mountain in front. A huge buffet lunch is served daily for guests and the tour buses that was excellent! There's just something about the Sacred Valley that I love with the great air and mountains. Ollantaytambo is only 15 min away so it is easy to get there if you want to eat out, hike, enjoy the oldness of it or catch your train to Machu Picchu. Definitely will be going back to the Life Hotel for a getaway. There is a 24 hr clinic attached to the hotel that appears to service guests as well as the community."

"I stayed at Lizzy Wasi for 2 days and I was blown away by the beauty and hospitality. I was in Cuzco, where it was very busy, and was very grateful to have stayed at Lizzy Wasi where it was much more peaceful, calming, and quiet. Inti helped me out and answered my questions about what was available to help me enjoy my stay. This was my little oasis for 2 amazing days. The hotel felt like a retreat, with a jaccuzi and sauna (just be aware there are extra fees to use these facilities). I paid for time in the sauna and it was well worth the cost! I truly needed it. There is a mini labyrinth behind the garden with trampolines, comfortable lounge chairs, and an alpaca! You are surrounded by beauty - from the garden to the mountains. The hotel is in a great location. It's located in an alley beside many other "hidden" gems. During the day I walked to the markets, banks, and amazing restaurants. I didn't go out at night as they have a restaurant with reasonable priced food for dinner. I wish I had more time to try everything on the menu. If you do go out, be sure to be back before the concierge leaves the office for the night. I highly recommend Lizzy Wasi if you want to escape the busy-ness of Cuzco and come back home to yourself."

"In need of refurbishment. Sound proofing not the best and hot water was interrupted for a few hours. Couldn't really leave windows ajar too due to mosquitos. However the staff really try hard for you the guest and i have nothing but praises for them."
