Amazing
GGuest UserThe place is a hidden gem in Sacred Valley. If you get the chance to visit during Christmas you will love it. Yucay becomes the action point of the valley for 3 days you can enjoy a very festive experience with local traditions and masks. Location is great, near everything. Also the owner and all of the people there are so friendly, it gives you a nice family vibe when staying there. I will definitely come again when revisiting Sacred Valley:)
GGuest UserCleaning lady friendly and helpful. Owners who normally run the place out of town. Hotel is about 10 minute walk to town. Most of the road to plaza is paved. I ate at a very good restaurant in plaza. Almost all the restaurants offer excellent views and vegetarian options. The hotel has glorious views from the rooftop where they serve breakfast daily. There is coffee available or hot water 24x7. The area is quite except for cows mooing. Internet excellent. Hot shower excellent. Eggs made to order for breakfast. Google translate needed at hotel + in town. Wish all hotels offered filtered water. This would reduce the daily purchase of plastic bottled water. I enjoyed my stay.
GGuest UserBesides the location (5mins walk from train and restaurant’s) and quality of the rooms, the reason this is getting a 5 star review from me and my mates was the customer service.
The people working at the hotel - in particular Nathale and William - were absolutely wonderful. Probably the best customer service I’ve ever received (I mean this literally). They went above and beyond to answer all our questions and helped us navigate train suspensions and protests (even offered us showers and a place to rest after climbing Machu Picchu, post check out).
They didn’t just respond to needs, they assessed and identified what would make us more comfortable and they delivered it proactively.
GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay. The staff met us right at the train platform and walked us to the hotel, which was very convenient and thoughtful after a long journey. The hotel is clean, cozy, and comfortable, and you can truly feel the care for guests.
After visiting Machu Picchu, even after check-out, we still had plenty of time before our train. The staff kindly allowed us to wait in the lobby, charge our phones, and use the Wi-Fi, which was extremely helpful.
We highly recommend this hotel!
Nn a g iI stayed to climb Machu Picchu. The access was good and the bus stop to Machu Picchu was very close.
The breakfast time was relatively early and I had to get up early, but it was delicious.
Since there is no screen door, it is recommended to be careful not to let insects come in when opening the window, or to look outside without opening.
I was grateful that the restaurant in the series was discounted.
GGUEST88This is the best hotel before or after your Machu Picchu experience! Not only they offered to pick us up at the train station (although it's very close walking distance), they also offered to send our luggages to the train station on our way out upon check out so we could enjoy Aguas Calientes activities without dragging around our luggages. Everyone working there was exceptionally kind, and answered our questions and requests very promptly. We so appreciated our lovely welcome plate left in the room, too! Breakfast (included) was amazing as well. The building is right by the river, and we enjoyed the view as well as the sound of the river flow from our room. Highly recommended! We would totally go back to this hotel and stay again next time.
GGuest UserGreat location and quiet. The room is clean and warm, hot water in the shower and sink. Good breakfast. You can leave your things downstairs, take an umbrella. Beautiful view from the window.
GGuest UserMy room was clean and organized. The bathroom is very small but reasonable for myself. The quality of the shampoo and other soaps were poor, so bring your own. If you need a clean and cheap place to stay, this place is good.
GGuest UserThe price is not high, there is a pick-up service, walking feels a bit far, although the town is not big, you can find the station near, walking in about two minutes is better, especially the luggage. Low altitude here
