Rafi_ZThe Grand Pacific is a splendid historical building in the center of Suva, right on the sea front. Facilities are very good and the rooms are comfortable and clean. However, the building shows it's age and a lot of the hallways (and my room) felt damp. We are near the ocean so that may be unavoidable. Service was overall ok, except at the bar where they consistently refused to honor the ”happy hour” advertised by their colleagues at the front desk. Not a huge deal, but this is not the best way to treat hotel guests.

We stayed one day in Suva and found it to be a good choice. It wasn't very comfortable, but the staff was attentive, the room was very spacious, and the breakfast was delicious. It's a bit far from the center for walking. It worked out well.
