Facilities: The hotel is located in a spacious area, and each room is a detached villa, covering a large footprint. Environment: The large area allows for excellent landscaping, which creates a very serene and soul-cleansing atmosphere. Service: The staff are very diligent and responsible, and incredibly enthusiastic. I would definitely book this hotel again on my next visit. Hygiene: The room was very clean, and the bathroom was also spotless.

I initially booked this hotel because it seemed comfortable and suitable for traveling with my child, but I was later truly touched by the attentive service. My baby wasn't feeling well in the middle of the night, and they repeatedly brought us alcohol wipes to help bring down the fever. Because the baby was unwell, they even thoughtfully delivered breakfast to our room. It was truly heartwarming, I'm so grateful... A big thank you to the hotel for the complimentary travel photoshoot, which also served as a lovely 2nd birthday gift for my baby.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel; it offers great value for money. 🛣️Location: The location is quite good, close to Qianbu Beach, and about a ten-minute walk to Fayu Temple. On the way to Fayu Temple, you'll find Starbucks, noodle shops, coffee shops, and creative stores, and you'll also pass by Dacheng Zen Temple and Shuangquan Zen Temple. The hotel is located up a slope off the main road, so you can't hear the shuttle bus during the day. 🏩Facilities: The facilities are relatively new, and the hotel has a good design aesthetic. However, the rooms are a bit small, and there isn't much counter space to put things, which meant we had no place for the complimentary fruit platter after setting up a laptop. There's a self-service laundry room with a dryer. 🔍Service: The in-house service was generally good. Since we booked a package, we received fruit, a mini-bar, and evening craft activities (though we were too tired from exploring during the day to participate). The shuttle service, however, was quite disappointing. We waited at the pier for over half an hour, and the front desk staff kept explaining that they only had one car, which upset many people in our group. Upon arrival, the hotel offered complimentary iced Americanos and a two-tiered afternoon tea as a form of compensation. I hope they can improve the shuttle service in the future. 🍳Dining: Breakfast is a buffet with a focus on Chinese cuisine. Coffee, tea, and fruit are generally available. However, during peak hours, seating can be limited, so I suggest opening the north activity area as an additional space in the mornings. You can order lunch and dinner. Given that food delivery on the island starts at 30 yuan, choosing a hotel with dining options is very important.

On the day of my trip, there was heavy fog and rain, causing multiple changes to the ferry schedule. I really appreciate the executive, Li Fenjun, for her thoughtful reminders and assistance with coordination throughout: she gave me early warnings about cancellations, promptly informed me when services resumed, proactively arranged a shuttle when there was traffic control on-site, and even helped me clarify false information, ensuring I got on the vehicle smoothly. The hotel's location is excellent, close to a bus stop, making travel very convenient. A little tip: when returning from Mount Luojia, you can take the hotel's vehicle directly back without having to detour to Puji Temple. The entire trip went very smoothly, and I'm very grateful!

I've stayed at many Novotels both in China and abroad, and this one maintains the same high standard. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the service attitude was excellent. The location is central in Zhoushan, about a ten to fifteen-minute walk to Dinghai Ancient City and West Street. It's about a forty-minute drive to Zhujiajian. The room was clean and simple, with all the necessary amenities. There were plenty of USB ports, which made charging convenient. The breakfast was plentiful, and the coffee tasted good. Just a couple of minor issues that the management should address: The shower water pressure wasn't very stable, fluctuating between hot and cold. This is fine in summer, but it would be unacceptable in winter. Or perhaps it was just my room? The Wi-Fi was slow, and then eventually stopped working altogether. I tried it with two phones and got the same result, but since I have a lot of data, I just didn't bother with the Wi-Fi.

What a lovely experience, the very young staffs at the hotel are both professional and very friendly, willing to extend their help in any possible way. The restaurant in the hotel is one of the best on the island, great service as well. The room we stayed at the 4th floor has a great view of the beach and other island landmarks, located at the quietest but the most beautiful and historical part of island, highly recommended for a relaxed multi-day retreat on the island.

Considering it was near the Mid-Autumn Festival, the price for the hotel was decent. I booked a special deal room for 899 RMB. The hotel facilities were complete but clearly showed their age. Aside from its well-known brand and excellent customer service communication, it certainly didn't live up to the experience of a five-star hotel renovated in 2023. 1. During check-in, the front desk lady was very friendly. When asked if we had children, we clearly said no. However, without explaining, she “upgraded” us to a family-themed floor on the second level, complete with a child-sized toilet and stairs. This kind of “upgrade” was completely unnecessary. While the hotel can try to attract families, they should consider the actual needs of guests. 2. Upon entering the room, I did a routine check to see if it was clean and tidy. Initially, the room was well-ventilated with no strange odors. Although the decor was a bit cute, it was acceptable. Later, I found a can pull-tab on the table. I called the front desk, and a manager on duty later asked if I was willing to switch rooms. I mentioned that I had already rested on the bed, asking if that would be an issue. Afterwards, a staff member brought a new key card, asking if we wanted to switch rooms. It wasn't that *we* wanted to switch rooms, but rather the hotel's proposed solution. The staff member then took the pull-tab. 3. After settling in the room, I was about to head to the nearby Da Wushi Beach. As I opened the door, I overheard the cleaning staff next door (the room we switched to was next door) complaining to another man, claiming that the pull-tab was something we had brought ourselves. I then had a few words with the cleaning staff to express my anger. 4. The new room had a distinct odor. I initially thought it was due to insufficient ventilation and being near the sea, which I could understand. However, the odor persisted after returning in the evening. I suspect it was an air conditioning issue or a problem with another part of the room. I didn't want to bother further, as we had already been there for a while. 5. The hotel facilities clearly looked old, nothing like a hotel renovated in 2023. The first and second floors had significant musty and other unpleasant odors. I hope the hotel doesn't wait for problems to occur before trying to comfort guests and resolve issues. They should focus on providing a good experience from the start. Note: In the last photo, I also opened a can of the same sparkling water from the hotel minibar and left the pull-tab on the table. Remember to clean it up.

The sea view at The Westin Zhujiajian is absolutely stunning! Our room directly faced Dongsha Beach, offering unparalleled ocean views right from the window. You can even watch the sunrise and sunset from bed – it was so relaxing by the sea, we didn't want to leave. The hotel environment is top-notch, with lush greenery and a comfortable poolside area where you can enjoy the sea breeze. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. Overall, our stay was incredibly satisfying. This is definitely the perfect place for a vacation, and we'll certainly be back next time. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to Zhoushan to see the ocean!

The hotel's decor exudes a classic elegance. The white furnishings are incredibly refined, and the calligraphy and artwork are tastefully chosen. The inscription at the entrance, ”常游究竟空” (meaning roughly ”Always wandering in ultimate emptiness”), adds a touch of Zen. The hotel's location in the heart of the scenic area is a huge advantage. Because of this, everything about the room was perfect, except for it being a bit small.

The hotel staff was good, but ı got a problem for payment with Visa credit card. As a global brand hotel 'Shangri-La” expected to accept internationla credit card payments but unfortunately not succesfull. Also Trip.com do not have agreement with hotel for ”online payment” which I can easly submit payment, but again unsuccesfull. Hope you can improve your service and agreement to give better support foreigner guest in China mainland.
