Staying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

Our trip to Yangshuo was quite an unexpected encounter. We had originally booked another guesthouse with the same name, but by a stroke of fate, we ended up at 'Poetry & Distance,' which was twice the price. At first, I was worried about the hassle of changing, so we decided to stay, and it turned out to be full of pleasant surprises. The hotel's location is excellent, making travel along the Yulong River incredibly convenient. You can take a taxi to Jima Pier for a bamboo raft ride, float downstream to the comprehensive pier, and then it's just a short walk back to the hotel after disembarking. No need for transfers or extra travel, making the experience very smooth. The interior design is elegant, facilities are comprehensive, and the staff service is attentive and thoughtful. The bedding in the room was what impressed me most; the memory foam pillows provided excellent support for my neck and shoulders, truly alleviating the fatigue from a day of sightseeing. The breakfast selection was rich, offering not only standard dishes but also rare delicacies like douhua (tofu pudding) and fresh mushrooms. The hotel's amenities are extensive, including a swimming pool, singing bowl healing sessions, and craft workshops. In the evening, I experienced the singing bowl sound therapy led by a young man; the clear and lingering bowl sounds soothed the restlessness of travel. Listening to it before bed was calming and helped with sleep. The only minor drawback was a slight odor from the tatami mat in the room. After my child's clothes were left on it overnight, his skin became itchy after he put them on the next day. I suspect the mat might be damp or harbor small insects. If they could improve ventilation, mite removal, and deep cleaning of the mat, the experience would be almost perfect. Overall, this is a beautiful guesthouse full of poetic charm, with warm service and a convenient location. Highly recommended.

Found a hidden gem of a resort by the Yulong River in Guilin Yangshuo! Nestled by the mountains and river, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the beautiful scenery. The rooms are spotless, and come fully equipped with high-end amenities like Dyson products and premium toiletries, making for an incredibly comfortable stay. The friendly deer in the private pasture are adorable and perfect for photos. The housekeepers are attentive and reliable, always ready to assist with any request. The breakfast includes freshly made rice noodles and noodles, and the sweet white fungus soup served in the evenings is wonderfully comforting. The resort is conveniently located near the Ji Ma Bamboo Raft Pier, making sightseeing a breeze. It's a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. Both the service and facilities are impeccable, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yulong River.

Bringing my whole family, including seniors and kids, to Yangshuo for summer vacation, choosing the FaDai Hotel was an excellent decision! The transportation is convenient, and getting around to nearby attractions is smooth. The room's view is absolutely fantastic; my kids spent every day glued to the window, watching the mountains and rivers. The breakfast is well-balanced and nutritious, with light options suitable for both elderly guests and children. The butler service is very attentive and proactively offered suggestions for family-friendly activities. The free travel photoshoot was a huge bonus; the photographer was great at entertaining the kids, making it easy to capture natural and warm family photos. It allowed us to relax while keeping the kids entertained. We'll definitely be back!

From the bridge, you can capture photos of the Yulong River and the surrounding mountains. Sunset and blue hour moments are incredibly beautiful~ At night, you can even see the 'Golden Dragon Parade'. ✅ Shuangliu Ferry Pavilion You can cycle there using the hotel's bikes! The endless pastoral scenery unfolds before your eyes. Along the way, you'll find rice fields, watermills, and ancient bridges, with tons of swings available for free use!!! ✅ Yitian West Street A lively market with lots of snacks, ethnic clothing, jewelry... and a bridge adorned with wishing plaques~ ✅ Yulong River banks Just a few steps from the hotel, you'll find a riverside path. Nestled against the mountains and by the water, it's a feast for the eyes with lush green hills and clear waters.

The floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos. I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival. **Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures. **Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding. **Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening. It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch. There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal. This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee.

Traveling to Yangshuo with kids, the biggest fear is boredom, but not here at all! With a kids' playground and swimming pool, the little ones had an absolute blast, completely freeing up the parents. The room details were also very thoughtfully considered, making us feel completely at ease. The service was also heartwarming, from the communication after booking to our departure, every staff member was all smiles. The afternoon tea was also a pleasant surprise. I especially want to commend the breakfast rice noodles. The complimentary travel photography experience provided by the hotel was fantastic, capturing some amazing, magazine-worthy shots.

Yangshuo has so many hotels and guesthouses, it's easy to get overwhelmed browsing through them on Ctrip! Every single one looks so exquisite and beautiful 🤩. I stumbled upon this hotel-style guesthouse by chance; it had just opened, and its decor deeply attracted me – grand, yet full of character. The room felt very spacious, and directly opposite was the impressive statue of the lead actress from 'Impression Liu Sanjie', offering expansive, bright, and very comfortable views! **Facilities:** As a newly opened guesthouse, the facilities are all excellent. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought and effort into the design and amenities! 👍👍👍 **Service:** Honestly, it's impeccable. The young ladies working there are visibly energetic and very enthusiastic, providing excellent service. They frequently message to ask if we need anything and tell us to let them know if we require any assistance! Guesthouse service nowadays truly surpasses the standards of five-star hotels – at least, it always evokes a strong sense of satisfaction; it's incredibly thoughtful and meticulous ❤️❤️🫶🫶🤩🤩🫰🫰🫰 Thumbs up to the ladies who served us these past few days! 👍 **Food:** Breakfast is included and offers a rich variety, covering both Chinese and Western options. Everything you'd expect is well-prepared. (The auntie working there is so warm, always greeting us with a smile every morning, asking how we slept and if we need any help, etc.) Yangshuo rice noodles 🍜 are a must-have every morning; the broth is pure, and it feels so comforting and warm in the stomach. The roasted pumpkin is also fantastic, sweet and soft. Millet porridge with some pickles, Western-style lettuce, corn, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas with a bit of dressing, fried eggs, omelets, toast, bread, small desserts, coffee, cereal, milk, juice, fruit bar – the breakfast quality is absolutely good enough for foreign guests 👍👍🫰🫰🫶🫶🤩🤩 **Overall:** Apart from a minor flaw in the guest room, everything else is beyond reproach – truly excellent. The service is great, breakfast is great, and both the interior and exterior of the hotel are fantastic. If you love taking photos 🤳 for your social media, this hotel is definitely your top choice; it's very photogenic, every shot looks like a masterpiece! We stayed at New West Street International Hotel for total of 10 nights as we accompanied our child at a nearby Chinese school in the summer. This extended time gave us the opportunity to really got to experience the hotel facilities, the food, and the service.  First the location.The actual location is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the actual West Street. To us, the distance is actually a good thing. Food, shops, and amenities at West Street are overly tailored for tourists. The hotel location is quiet and peaceful. Nearby are many local restaurants and shops that we much preferred. In fact, we found ourselves walking away from the West Street direction to get some great local foods everyday of our stay. That said, the hotel offers an excellent shuttle service beginning at 3:30pm until late at night if that's what you are into.  Second, the hotel building itself is in excellent condition. It appears many of the facilities and rooms were recently renovated. The lobby is open and airy and makes a comfortable gathering spot for us to meet our friends before heading out. The hotel sometimes accommodates tour groups. Even when we see as many as three tour buses parked in the back, the hotel does not feel congested nor noisy. The room itself is tastefully updated with a large flat screen TV, USB-C chargers, and automated curtains. The beds were comfortable and our balcony room faced a beautiful karst mountain and a nearby pond. The room appears to have great noisy insulation. We did not hear our neighbors like we did in other Chinese hotels. Third, the place is always clean. We see staff cleaning public areas all the time, wiping down handrails, elevator buttons, countertops. etc. As for our room, the home keeper always kept it clean and orderly. We had some problems with smell the first day. A housekeeper came and troubleshoot the problem to durian smell in the mini-fridge. Not only did she wipe it down, but even without us asking, the later came back with another mini-fridge to make sure no smell was left. That really made an impression on us. Next, the staff. Everyone we encountered was always friendly and greeted us. From the cleaning staff to the front desk reception to the restaurant waiters. Everyone was friendly. We can only speak limited mandarin but the staff still talked to us best they could in English. Rachel, the manager on site, was especially friendly to make sure we got everything we needed. She understands we were staying for an extended period of time so she was always asking what can be improved for our long stay. The hotel added us to WeChat where they respond quickly to all the typical requests like room service to sending us extra water. I wish more hotels do this.  Finally, the facilities. We used the laundry room daily. There are 5 washers and 3 dryers by my count. Most of the time, I can find an empty machine to wash my laundry. Mornings are best for doing laundry. After dinner time is the busiest time. We occasionally had to take out other people's laundry that were just sitting there but it's rare. The pool is large, warm, and clean. The shallow end is perfect for kids or just wading around. The deep end is 1.7M deep so it's plenty for actual swimming. We also used the on-site travel agent to book a private transfer to the Guilin high speed station. Rachel happened to be nearby when we did this and she helped with some translation with the agent and it was very appreciated. The restaurant was large and there was always space for us to sit even when there are large tour groups. It offers mainly Chinese options but also have some Western items. Food was abundant and delicious. The Guilin rice noodles in the back is tasty and the broth is excellent. The only thing is the coffee could be a little bit better! We loved our stay at the New West Street International Hotel and would not hesitate to go back next time we visit Yangshuo. 

Yangshuo Shixi Tianyue Hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to West Street and the Li River pier. It's a peaceful retreat, away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious and clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering scenic mountain and river views, and the bedding is very comfortable. The rooftop Sky Mirror is perfect for photos. The hotel also features a swimming pool, a kids' playground, and a rich breakfast selection. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and parking is convenient for those driving. It's easy to get around and explore, offering great value for money.
