Staying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was truly special. ❤️ 💛 Staff & Service Without a doubt, the best service we experienced during our trip to China. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about every guest. We even spoke with several other guests, and everyone agreed—this hotel far exceeded all expectations. 🏔️ Rooms & Views Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the breathtaking mountain views every morning was unforgettable. 🎭 Activities Included There are so many activities that we simply didn’t have enough time to try everything! We especially loved the complimentary traditional Chinese photoshoot (including 3 professionally edited photos) and the traditional cormorant fishing demonstration. 🍕 Restaurant & Breakfast The restaurant was amazing. Alongside delicious Chinese cuisine, it also serves excellent European food. After weeks of traveling, our kids were craving familiar meals, and the truffle pizza, truffle pasta, and Margherita pizza were absolutely incredible. 😍 Breakfast was equally impressive, with a fantastic selection of hot dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, desserts, and drinks—all with spectacular mountain views. 👨👩👧👦 Perfect for Families A large kids’ playroom, a beautiful swimming pool with a children’s area, and plenty of space for families. Our kids absolutely loved it. 🏋️ Extra Amenities The hotel also has a laundry room and a small gym, which are especially convenient for longer stays. ☕ Don’t Miss the Second Hotel The hotel has a second property just 300 meters away, connected by a complimentary shuttle. We highly recommend visiting it for a coffee on the terrace overlooking the river and mountains. 📸 Please note: All of the river-view photos in this review were taken at the hotel’s second property. ❤️ Everything about this place—the scenery, the atmosphere, the activities, and most importantly, the incredible people—made our stay unforgettable. Found a hidden gem of a resort by the Yulong River in Guilin Yangshuo! Nestled by the mountains and river, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the beautiful scenery. The rooms are spotless, and come fully equipped with high-end amenities like Dyson products and premium toiletries, making for an incredibly comfortable stay. The friendly deer in the private pasture are adorable and perfect for photos. The housekeepers are attentive and reliable, always ready to assist with any request. The breakfast includes freshly made rice noodles and noodles, and the sweet white fungus soup served in the evenings is wonderfully comforting. The resort is conveniently located near the Ji Ma Bamboo Raft Pier, making sightseeing a breeze. It's a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. Both the service and facilities are impeccable, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yulong River.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Magical Stay in Yangshuo! Ji Yun was truly one of the highlights of our China trip! The staff were wonderful, the grounds and mountain views were breathtaking, and our room was phenomenal—complete with our own private pool. 😍 The hotel team was also incredibly helpful with local recommendations and suggestions for exploring Yangshuo, which made navigating the area so much easier. A MUST is the onsite photography experience with Ethan Travel Photography. They handled everything—makeup, traditional outfits, posing, and the perfect scenic locations. And don’t worry if you don’t speak Mandarin—they know how to communicate and will have you feeling like an Empress or Emperor! 👑 Trust the process—the photos are worth it! Beautiful property, incredible hospitality, and memories we’ll treasure forever. ❤️

The floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos. I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival. **Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures. **Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding. **Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening. It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch. There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal. This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee.

Bringing my whole family, including seniors and kids, to Yangshuo for summer vacation, choosing the FaDai Hotel was an excellent decision! The transportation is convenient, and getting around to nearby attractions is smooth. The room's view is absolutely fantastic; my kids spent every day glued to the window, watching the mountains and rivers. The breakfast is well-balanced and nutritious, with light options suitable for both elderly guests and children. The butler service is very attentive and proactively offered suggestions for family-friendly activities. The free travel photoshoot was a huge bonus; the photographer was great at entertaining the kids, making it easy to capture natural and warm family photos. It allowed us to relax while keeping the kids entertained. We'll definitely be back!

Facilities: The hotel's amenities are excellent. The outdoor pool offers a fantastic view. The deer petting area has a large, open lawn, perfect for a relaxing stroll and photos. Cleanliness: The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was comfortable, and all the details were very well-maintained. Environment: Directly facing the beautiful Karst peaks of Yangshuo, surrounded by mountains, the natural atmosphere is incredible. Every photo taken here is stunning. Service: The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, quick to respond to any requests. We also enjoyed the coffee and afternoon tea.

Yangshuo has so many hotels and guesthouses, it's easy to get overwhelmed browsing through them on Ctrip! Every single one looks so exquisite and beautiful 🤩. I stumbled upon this hotel-style guesthouse by chance; it had just opened, and its decor deeply attracted me – grand, yet full of character. The room felt very spacious, and directly opposite was the impressive statue of the lead actress from 'Impression Liu Sanjie', offering expansive, bright, and very comfortable views! **Facilities:** As a newly opened guesthouse, the facilities are all excellent. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought and effort into the design and amenities! 👍👍👍 **Service:** Honestly, it's impeccable. The young ladies working there are visibly energetic and very enthusiastic, providing excellent service. They frequently message to ask if we need anything and tell us to let them know if we require any assistance! Guesthouse service nowadays truly surpasses the standards of five-star hotels – at least, it always evokes a strong sense of satisfaction; it's incredibly thoughtful and meticulous ❤️❤️🫶🫶🤩🤩🫰🫰🫰 Thumbs up to the ladies who served us these past few days! 👍 **Food:** Breakfast is included and offers a rich variety, covering both Chinese and Western options. Everything you'd expect is well-prepared. (The auntie working there is so warm, always greeting us with a smile every morning, asking how we slept and if we need any help, etc.) Yangshuo rice noodles 🍜 are a must-have every morning; the broth is pure, and it feels so comforting and warm in the stomach. The roasted pumpkin is also fantastic, sweet and soft. Millet porridge with some pickles, Western-style lettuce, corn, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas with a bit of dressing, fried eggs, omelets, toast, bread, small desserts, coffee, cereal, milk, juice, fruit bar – the breakfast quality is absolutely good enough for foreign guests 👍👍🫰🫰🫶🫶🤩🤩 **Overall:** Apart from a minor flaw in the guest room, everything else is beyond reproach – truly excellent. The service is great, breakfast is great, and both the interior and exterior of the hotel are fantastic. If you love taking photos 🤳 for your social media, this hotel is definitely your top choice; it's very photogenic, every shot looks like a masterpiece! We stayed at this hotel from August 12–17, 2026. It was the best hotel of our entire trip. 1. Location: The hotel is a 30‑minute walk from West Street. However, from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, a free shuttle bus runs between the hotel and West Street in both directions – very convenient! The area around the hotel isn't very touristy – there aren't many cafés or shops nearby, so for everything we had to go to West Street. 2. Hotel grounds: The crown jewel of the hotel is certainly its huge swimming pool surrounded by mountains. We had an absolutely unforgettable time swimming in the pool with that view. Unlike most Chinese hotels, the pool is deep (up to 1.7 m) and very large – even with many guests around, nobody got in anyone's way, and we could swim freely. A small downside is that there aren't many chairs or benches around the pool to put your things on, but we always found a spot. Besides the pool, the grounds include a lake (unfortunately the fountains weren't working), a tennis court, and a small walking area with swings. As a suggestion to the hotel: we missed evening lighting. It would be wonderful if the trees, the lake, or the mountains were illuminated, so that after sunset we could take an evening stroll. 3. Service: Deserves the highest praise! The day before our arrival, the manager contacted me on WeChat. When booking the room, I had left a request for a quiet room with a nice view. Since we had a room for three people, all such rooms faced the street and had no balcony. The manager took my request into account and gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony (with a stunning mountain view) and added a third bed. The manager, Xiuxiu, is absolutely incredible – she made our stay truly comfortable and took care of us throughout our entire visit. First, she spoke excellent English. Second, she was always available on WeChat and answered all our questions. Third, when we were checking out, my mum left her pendant in the pocket of the bathrobe and was very upset. I wrote to the hotel on WeChat asking them to look for it. Not only was the pendant found, but they also arranged express delivery to my Chinese friend on the very same day. That is professionalism at its best – thank you! Other requests during our stay were also handled promptly, such as changing the bathrobes to ones we preferred or bringing a third set of tableware. We also bought tickets for the Impression Liu Sanjie show at the reception. It was very convenient and cheaper than buying through the show's official WeChat account. The hotel offers many amenities: water, juice, and candies in the lobby, plenty of lounge areas, a shop, a free laundry room, and a gym. Breakfast at the hotel was very convenient. For European tastes, it wasn't extremely varied, but there was enough to choose from. It would be great if the café remained open during the day as well (for an extra charge). 4. Room: As I mentioned, we were upgraded to a room with a balcony. It was very quiet and the view was breathtaking. The room itself was large, with big, comfortable beds. There was a split‑system air conditioner (not a standard wall unit), but it was surprisingly tricky to adjust despite its seemingly simple controls – sometimes it would cool the room too much, and sometimes even when set to 23°C, the temperature would keep rising to 26°C, and so on. A slight inconvenience: the shower is right in the room (as in many Chinese hotels), and there's nowhere to hang a towel without it getting wet. But this wasn't a major issue. The room was cleaned daily: fresh water, tea bags, various kinds of coffee, towel changes, floor mopping! Upon check‑in, we were also greeted with a welcome fruit platter and even some instant noodles (which came in very handy after our journey). The room had a refrigerator and even a dish steriliser. It was quiet inside – we couldn't hear the neighbours, and there was no smell of cigarette smoke.

Yangshuo Shixi Tianyue Hotel boasts an excellent location, within walking distance to West Street and the Li River pier. It's a peaceful retreat, away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious and clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering scenic mountain and river views, and the bedding is very comfortable. The rooftop Sky Mirror is perfect for photos. The hotel also features a swimming pool, a kids' playground, and a rich breakfast selection. The service is attentive and thoughtful, and parking is convenient for those driving. It's easy to get around and explore, offering great value for money.
