Staying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

First, let's talk about the location: The hotel is right next to Gongnong Bridge, in Zhuduzhai, very easy to find. There are many dining options nearby, and it's convenient to go cycling in the Ten-Mile Gallery. Next, the hotel facilities: The room is very large and spacious, and the layout design is also very reasonable. I particularly liked that the bathroom mirror faces away from the bed. What deserves the most praise is that the air conditioner makes almost no noise when the fan speed is turned down. This is super friendly for someone like me who is very sensitive to noise (I've stayed in many guesthouses and star-rated hotels, and none could completely eliminate AC noise). The bedding is also quite comfortable, the mattress has a medium firmness, and the two pillows each have their advantages. I stayed for three nights, and as someone with back and neck problems who loves quiet and a good sleeping environment, I had several nights of good sleep. Finally, let's talk about the service: After booking, a butler proactively contacted me, sending the location and asking for my arrival time. Upon arrival, they sent me travel guides and in-house activity programs. It's safe to say they anticipated everything I thought of and even things I hadn't. A big thumbs up here! The in-house activities included a travel photoshoot. The photographer was excellent; I had taken many photos with my selfie stick at the same background and scene the day before without any good results, but his photos were superb. Another big shout-out to the photographer. Today, when we checked out, the front desk staff even gave us a souvenir. How thoughtful!

Everyone at the hotel was so helpful before and during the trip. They answered all of my many questions very quickly. Sunny, Seven and all the staff at the hotel were excellent - I wish I had all of their names to thank them. We had the room with the pool which was a perfect way to cool down after hot days. All the amenities were excellent including the shuttle. It was a welcome surprise to meet and play with the resident kitties - a highlight! Of course I need to mention the landscape and the hotel’s unobstructed floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows - such a plus to not have anything blocking the incredible views. The hotel also offers complimentary travel photography sessions; trying on Miao ethnic attire and the direction from the excellent photographer made for stunning photos. This trip to Yangshuo was truly delightful.

Choosing this hotel and staying for two consecutive nights was the smartest decision of my trip. Definitely pick Building 1 or 6, as the views from the windows are absolutely stunning. The butler gave me the room with the second-best view in the hotel – the best one had guests extending their stay. The view from the huge floor-to-ceiling windows was truly spectacular! The room itself was also super spacious, with everything you could need! There was a wardrobe, hangers, a fridge, and a super long desk behind the bed, perfect for snacks, selfies, or even setting up a DJI drone. The bathroom was also incredibly large; you can imagine how big it was when I tell you I could open both my suitcases in there! It made getting clothes in and out super convenient. I took a video of the room when checking in, but didn't import it to my phone, so I don't have any photos. I also recommend checking out other buildings; there are many photo spots that are perfect for Instagram! I took tons of pictures, and even rainy weather didn't stop me from getting great shots. The complimentary hotel photography session didn't quite match my desired 'fishermen singing at dusk' vibe, so I booked the shoot wearing my own clothes. I got 3 retouched photos without paying anything, and the staff were still very pleasant! The only thing is, when I looked closely at home, one of the photos wasn't high-resolution, and when I messaged them about it, they didn't reply. The cormorant fishing performance was amazing – the cormorants dive underwater to catch fish, and they're incredibly skilled! They caught fish very quickly after entering the water! It's that ancient method, and while it looks a bit cruel, the fish they catch are ultimately fed to them. After the performance, you can queue up for a free photo opportunity! The butler service was also excellent! Highly recommended!

Yangshuo has so many hotels and guesthouses, it's easy to get overwhelmed browsing through them on Ctrip! Every single one looks so exquisite and beautiful 🤩. I stumbled upon this hotel-style guesthouse by chance; it had just opened, and its decor deeply attracted me – grand, yet full of character. The room felt very spacious, and directly opposite was the impressive statue of the lead actress from 'Impression Liu Sanjie', offering expansive, bright, and very comfortable views! **Facilities:** As a newly opened guesthouse, the facilities are all excellent. It's clear the owner put a lot of thought and effort into the design and amenities! 👍👍👍 **Service:** Honestly, it's impeccable. The young ladies working there are visibly energetic and very enthusiastic, providing excellent service. They frequently message to ask if we need anything and tell us to let them know if we require any assistance! Guesthouse service nowadays truly surpasses the standards of five-star hotels – at least, it always evokes a strong sense of satisfaction; it's incredibly thoughtful and meticulous ❤️❤️🫶🫶🤩🤩🫰🫰🫰 Thumbs up to the ladies who served us these past few days! 👍 **Food:** Breakfast is included and offers a rich variety, covering both Chinese and Western options. Everything you'd expect is well-prepared. (The auntie working there is so warm, always greeting us with a smile every morning, asking how we slept and if we need any help, etc.) Yangshuo rice noodles 🍜 are a must-have every morning; the broth is pure, and it feels so comforting and warm in the stomach. The roasted pumpkin is also fantastic, sweet and soft. Millet porridge with some pickles, Western-style lettuce, corn, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas with a bit of dressing, fried eggs, omelets, toast, bread, small desserts, coffee, cereal, milk, juice, fruit bar – the breakfast quality is absolutely good enough for foreign guests 👍👍🫰🫰🫶🫶🤩🤩 **Overall:** Apart from a minor flaw in the guest room, everything else is beyond reproach – truly excellent. The service is great, breakfast is great, and both the interior and exterior of the hotel are fantastic. If you love taking photos 🤳 for your social media, this hotel is definitely your top choice; it's very photogenic, every shot looks like a masterpiece! Nestled in a hidden gem by the Yulong River – the Muyue Villa. Step through the doors and be greeted by rolling green hills. The infinity pool on the top floor frames the stunning Lijiang landscape like a natural painting. Spend your days swimming and admiring the karst peaks, and your evenings watching the sunset over the mountains – the ambiance is simply irreplaceable. The entire villa features a warm and elegant wooden design, and the extra-long balcony offers serene mountain views, perfect for escaping the city bustle and enjoying a slow-paced vacation. It's conveniently located near 'Impression Sanjie Liu'. The rooms are clean, and the service is attentive, making it suitable for both families and couples. If you're looking for a mountain and river retreat in Yangshuo, this place is just perfect.

This hotel is perfect for family trips and just chilling out – the experience was fantastic! The hotel environment far exceeded our expectations, tucked away in the mountains. Every photo we took felt like a professional shot. There's an infinity pool, forest hot springs, and so many scenic spots on the hillside, we couldn't stop taking pictures all day. The room was spacious and clean, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The breakfast was delicious, and during leisure time, we could enjoy tea and mountain views, far from the crowds. It's a top choice for a relaxing getaway with friends. Highly recommended!

Nestled in the mountains, this hotel boasts a clean and airy design with a pure white, Instagrammable aesthetic. The floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly frame the entire peak forest, while the pool and sky mirror provide fantastic photo opportunities for creating atmospheric shots. It's also exceptionally family-friendly. Just a few steps away is the Sanshuo Jisu hotel, which offers a quiet and elegant French retro style. A stroll along the rooftop walkway brings the refreshing mountain breeze, carrying the scent of grass and trees. Located amidst the mountains and rivers, there's no need to rush to tourist attractions. You can simply relax on the terrace, sipping tea and gazing at the clouds as they roll over the peaks. It's a place to escape the hustle and bustle, to find a relaxed and carefree Yangshuo experience in the heart of nature.

We stayed at this hotel from August 12–17, 2026. It was the best hotel of our entire trip. 1. Location: The hotel is a 30‑minute walk from West Street. However, from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, a free shuttle bus runs between the hotel and West Street in both directions – very convenient! The area around the hotel isn't very touristy – there aren't many cafés or shops nearby, so for everything we had to go to West Street. 2. Hotel grounds: The crown jewel of the hotel is certainly its huge swimming pool surrounded by mountains. We had an absolutely unforgettable time swimming in the pool with that view. Unlike most Chinese hotels, the pool is deep (up to 1.7 m) and very large – even with many guests around, nobody got in anyone's way, and we could swim freely. A small downside is that there aren't many chairs or benches around the pool to put your things on, but we always found a spot. Besides the pool, the grounds include a lake (unfortunately the fountains weren't working), a tennis court, and a small walking area with swings. As a suggestion to the hotel: we missed evening lighting. It would be wonderful if the trees, the lake, or the mountains were illuminated, so that after sunset we could take an evening stroll. 3. Service: Deserves the highest praise! The day before our arrival, the manager contacted me on WeChat. When booking the room, I had left a request for a quiet room with a nice view. Since we had a room for three people, all such rooms faced the street and had no balcony. The manager took my request into account and gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony (with a stunning mountain view) and added a third bed. The manager, Xiuxiu, is absolutely incredible – she made our stay truly comfortable and took care of us throughout our entire visit. First, she spoke excellent English. Second, she was always available on WeChat and answered all our questions. Third, when we were checking out, my mum left her pendant in the pocket of the bathrobe and was very upset. I wrote to the hotel on WeChat asking them to look for it. Not only was the pendant found, but they also arranged express delivery to my Chinese friend on the very same day. That is professionalism at its best – thank you! Other requests during our stay were also handled promptly, such as changing the bathrobes to ones we preferred or bringing a third set of tableware. We also bought tickets for the Impression Liu Sanjie show at the reception. It was very convenient and cheaper than buying through the show's official WeChat account. The hotel offers many amenities: water, juice, and candies in the lobby, plenty of lounge areas, a shop, a free laundry room, and a gym. Breakfast at the hotel was very convenient. For European tastes, it wasn't extremely varied, but there was enough to choose from. It would be great if the café remained open during the day as well (for an extra charge). 4. Room: As I mentioned, we were upgraded to a room with a balcony. It was very quiet and the view was breathtaking. The room itself was large, with big, comfortable beds. There was a split‑system air conditioner (not a standard wall unit), but it was surprisingly tricky to adjust despite its seemingly simple controls – sometimes it would cool the room too much, and sometimes even when set to 23°C, the temperature would keep rising to 26°C, and so on. A slight inconvenience: the shower is right in the room (as in many Chinese hotels), and there's nowhere to hang a towel without it getting wet. But this wasn't a major issue. The room was cleaned daily: fresh water, tea bags, various kinds of coffee, towel changes, floor mopping! Upon check‑in, we were also greeted with a welcome fruit platter and even some instant noodles (which came in very handy after our journey). The room had a refrigerator and even a dish steriliser. It was quiet inside – we couldn't hear the neighbours, and there was no smell of cigarette smoke.

Finally, I got to stay in my dream river-view room in Yangshuo! 🏨 This 270° river-view room with a balcony bathtub is picture-perfect; every shot looks like a masterpiece, offering exclusive romantic views of the Li River. The location is a huge plus, making getting around super easy! It's a 5-minute walk to Guanlian Pier and just 10 minutes to Yangshuo West Street. It's also convenient to rent electric scooters nearby, and for those driving, there's a free parking lot and charging stations. The massive balcony directly faces the Li River, offering panoramic views of the mountains and water, creating an instant luxurious ambiance. The hotel boasts a popular infinity pool and a 'Sky Mirror' that's great for photos, plus a fully equipped gym and a children's play area, making it suitable for both couples and families. The breakfast and dinner experience was excellent.
