4-Star Hotels in Dalat

Fantastic place! Highly recommended! The hotel feels brand new, with a stylish and well-designed interior. It’s located on a narrow street full of local cafes, restaurants, and bars - and just a short walk from the night market. We really appreciated the check-in process. We were offered a hot artichoke tea upon arrival, and the staff explained everything clearly - where to get filtered water, how to change towels yourself, where to find bathroom essentials, and how to open the front gate after hours. They also shared a super helpful Google Maps list of recommended restaurants and attractions. You can rent a motorbike right at the hotel, which was super convenient! Plus, they offer free shoe dryers and bananas at the reception - small but lovely touches. There’s an elevator, and thankfully it doesn’t beep loudly at every floor (like in many places!). We were also kindly upgraded from an economy room to a standard one - which included a small kitchen area with a sink, electric stove, cooking pot, dishes, and utensils. The room also had a writing desk, chairs, and a wide-screen TV. Inside, everything was spotless and smelled fresh the entire time. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was strong, and the bathroom mirror had built-in lighting. There was also a dehumidifier in the room, which kept the air fresh and completely free of mold or musty smells. Sound insulation was excellent - despite the busy street, we couldn’t hear any noise from outside. The only minor downside (which applies to most hotels) is that you can sometimes hear loud guests in the hallway through the front door. Luckily, they didn’t stay noisy for long. Overall, a wonderful stay - great location, clean rooms, thoughtful service, and excellent value!

This was our 5th time staying at Goldient, but sadly it was our worst experience. Our 4-day 3-night vacation was very disappointing and affected our family's holiday. Before arrival, I requested rooms away from the elevator with a nice view. Instead, we got two Deluxe rooms right next to the elevator, facing the windows of the hotel next door. The biggest problem was the noise. The rooms had very poor soundproofing. Every night we could hear guests from the next hotel, noisy group check-ins, tour buses, dogs barking, and traffic. We couldn't sleep well during the whole stay. There were also maintenance issues. The toilet flush didn't work properly, the shower door handle was broken, and nobody came to fix it. The bed was also very hard, even with an extra topper. Finally, I don't understand why breakfast ends at 9:00 AM. Most hotels serve breakfast until 10:00 AM. People come here to relax, not to wake up early just to catch breakfast?! This experience was far below what we expected from Goldient... very very upset about this!

This hotel is the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression. I spent the most wonderful two nights here with my family. I'm surprised by some Google Maps reviews that mentioned worn-out furniture; on the contrary, the furniture was beautiful and new. The staff were professional, incredibly polite, helpful, and welcoming to all nationalities. I highly recommend it to every Arab traveler – don't hesitate for a moment to book here! The breakfast was excellent and varied, though it could use a little more diversity. They absolutely delighted me by celebrating my birthday with my family during breakfast, amidst other guests, with a simple yet delicious cake. I'm so grateful for that lovely gesture 🥹💕. Despite its distance from the city center, they offer complimentary shuttle service for guests from the center to the hotel and back, so you can enjoy shopping and sightseeing in Dalat more. Just pay attention to the bus schedule. This will be my and my family's first choice whenever we visit Dalat in the future 🤗. I wish them and the kind people of Vietnam continued progress and prosperity ❤️.

Stunning location, in the forest, and close to all the lakeside activities. Breakfast buffet isn't huge but has western and Vietnamese staples like bacon and eggs, pho, congee, fruit and more. Service was excellent. Unfortunately the room was a little musty smelling and although I requested a quiet room online, they place us directly next to the restaurant which was unfortunately noisy early in the morning and spoilt the zen forest vive we were hoping for.

We stayed here for 1 night, the road in front of the door was being built so it was a bit dusty. Advantages: beautiful hotel, very relaxing, everything is very neat, the window I booked was very wide but it was dusty so I didn't open it, delicious breakfast, super enthusiastic staff, the hotel also has yoga, painting... according to the schedule but I'm lazy 🥲 Disadvantages: The room is a bit small, my suitcase is big so there's no room to open it wide, opening both suitcases is cramped. At night it's a bit noisy because the room is poorly soundproofed, I can clearly hear the sound of motorbikes running. 🙂 I'm very lazy to rate something but I do it with this hotel. I'm super super super satisfied with the staff, they are very enthusiastic, lovely... what else? I'll probably use all the best things to say about you guys 😛 Thank you very much 🥰🥰🥰 Oh, next door there's a super delicious Hoi No rice restaurant, anyone nearby should try it

The hotel is really nice and new, not far from the city center. It's about a 20-minute drive to the Coaster Adventure Park and a 20-minute walk to GO Supermarket. There are plenty of dining options nearby. The room facilities are good, just a bit noisy. Breakfast, however, was very mediocre. I would still stay here again!

Mengqing Hotel boasts a great, convenient location. However, the room facilities are quite outdated and in disrepair. The bed is too low, and despite having mosquito netting on the windows, mosquitoes still manage to get into the room and bite you. The staff are very polite, but the accommodation itself leaves much to be desired.

On my first day, I checked into the best suite at this hotel. The kitchen had a leak, but the staff immediately took care of it, and their attitude was excellent. Overall, the environment was pretty good, and it offered great value for money. However, when showering, the drain in the bathroom was very slow, causing the entire bathroom floor to flood, and my feet were completely submerged. Also, Da Lat has significant temperature swings between day and night, and none of the rooms have air conditioning. It was truly freezing at night, and the duvet wasn't enough to keep warm. The elevator space is tiny; two people and two suitcases crammed it full. At one point, I left some belongings in the hotel lobby. I tried calling the hotel countless times using the number on the room card but couldn't reach the front desk. Every call went to the hotel management, and it took contacting about 5 or 6 different people to finally get through to a front desk staff member. Their communication attitude was very good, though. For breakfast, there's only one option: chicken pho and coffee. I stayed at this hotel for four days and had chicken pho for breakfast every single day, which honestly almost made me gag, haha. It might be a new hotel, so there are many areas for improvement. There are plenty of food and drink options around the hotel. It's located in the city center, making it very convenient to get anywhere. All in all, I'd still recommend it, especially considering the price.

Supermarket and sit around the lake side for a refreshing time The weather dropped cooler and can be very cold in the evening and it is advisable to keep warm in case the sun sets earlier Grab car is easily available Taxi service from the hotel is reasonable and reliable for going to further places - better than using the Grab car

The room is above average in size, spacious, and the bathroom is large. That's about where the positives end. Housekeeping is poor: the bathroom and walls are covered in dust, streaks, and traces of renovations, creating a feeling of dirt and neglect. The shower concept itself is odd—there's no partition, so water flies everywhere during a shower. We saw this in the photos and were prepared, but in practice, it's inconvenient. The hallways are complete chaos—no one monitors the noise. On our floor, children were regularly screaming from morning until evening, as if some kind of event or party was taking place. The noise interfered with sleep and rest, and the staff didn't respond. There's also a constant pungent smell of incense in the hallway, sometimes reaching a burning odor that even permeated the bathroom—unpleasant. The breakfasts are mediocre: there's practically nothing to choose from, no proper nutritious food, and no meat dishes. It's only suitable for a light snack. The Wi-Fi is decent and reliable. There's on-site parking, but it's inconvenient; the gym is small but has decent equipment—overall, it's above average compared to other hotels; the location is inconvenient, with virtually no other decent establishments nearby, mostly low-rated places, making it difficult to find anything decent nearby.
