The hotel feels brand new, with a stylish and well-designed interior. Itâs located on a narrow street full of local cafes, restaurants, and bars - and just a short walk from the night market.
We really appreciated the check-in process. We were offered a hot artichoke tea upon arrival, and the staff explained everything clearly - where to get filtered water, how to change towels yourself, where to find bathroom essentials, and how to open the front gate after hours. They also shared a super helpful Google Maps list of recommended restaurants and attractions. You can rent a motorbike right at the hotel, which was super convenient! Plus, they offer free shoe dryers and bananas at the reception - small but lovely touches. Thereâs an elevator, and thankfully it doesnât beep loudly at every floor (like in many places!).
We were also kindly upgraded from an economy room to a standard one - which included a small kitchen area with a sink, electric stove, cooking pot, dishes, and utensils. The room also had a writing desk, chairs, and a wide-screen TV.
Inside, everything was spotless and smelled fresh the entire time. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was strong, and the bathroom mirror had built-in lighting. There was also a dehumidifier in the room, which kept the air fresh and completely free of mold or musty smells. Sound insulation was excellent - despite the busy street, we couldnât hear any noise from outside.
The only minor downside (which applies to most hotels) is that you can sometimes hear loud guests in the hallway through the front door. Luckily, they didnât stay noisy for long.
Overall, a wonderful stay - great location, clean rooms, thoughtful service, and excellent value!

The accommodation will link you up with a butler who will cater to all of your needs, just a text away! On site is also a place named the Seed House where they encourage you to do craft, has lots of toys and art materials for kids

The hotel was very clean, and the sense of hospitality was consistently felt across the entire team â from the front desk and doormen to the housekeeping staff. Everyone showed genuine service-mindedness, which immediately made us feel comfortable and welcomed.
Thanks to this hotel, our overall experience in Dalat was significantly enhanced. Using this hotel as our base allowed us to fully enjoy the city, and it truly elevated the quality of our trip.
Next time, I would definitely like to book a slightly larger room and stay again. I can confidently say that a big part of what made our Dalat trip so memorable was having this hotel as our home base.

NnikitkaThis hotel is nestled in the mountains, offering breathtaking views. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the service is top-notch. The breakfast spread is diverse and delicious â there's so much to choose from! Free amenities include pools (the outdoor one is cool, the indoor one is warmer), a good gym, and billiards. There are other activities available, but they come with an additional charge.
The main reason to visit here is the golf; for enthusiasts of the game, the conditions are simply excellent. If you're not a golfer, the entertainment options might feel a bit limited, as the surrounding area is primarily golf courses where you can't freely wander. However, there are still some interesting places to walk. During our visit, there were forest fires in the vicinity, so the air quality wasn't the best.
Despite this, our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. We definitely recommend it!

PPandhu PidadeI stayed for two nights and arrived late at night. The Front Desk staff who welcomed me were very warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which I truly appreciated.
The resort itself is lovely, with beautiful gardens and flowers that create a relaxing atmosphere and make it enjoyable to walk around. The room was generally nice; however, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, and the soundproofing could be improved as I could easily hear people talking in the corridor.
Breakfast was generally good, with a nice selection of food. The staff were attentive despite the busy hours.
The main disappointment during my stay was the inconsistency regarding the late check-out. One day before departure, I was confirmed a complimentary late check-out until 2pm, and my key card was even extended. I appreciated this gesture, especially since I had mentioned that I did not mind paying if needed. However, on the day of departure, the manager informed me that the hotel was fully booked and that the late check-out was no longer valid. Unfortunately, no alternative solution was offered, and it seemed as though there was some doubt about my confirmation. Luckily, my bags were already packed, and I was able to check out immediately.
I later sent an email to express my concern. Another manager responded politely and offered a solution and courtesy gesture, which I appreciated. However, by then I had already checked out and made alternative plans, so it was a bit too late â though I do value the effort to follow up.
I was also traveling on my birthday. While I am not someone who expects celebrations, it was a little surprising that there was no recognition at all, especially for a brand like Grand Mercure.
Overall, the resort is beautiful and the service is generally good, but better consistency in communication and service delivery would enhance the guest experience.

EEverygeniaI love it. We had a chance to upgrade our room to premier (although only on the third day, but still, it was a great deal).
Good breakfast, and normally it is a buffet, but if there are too few guests, is it a la carte.
It is the best hotel around (we've checked a few nearby, and they are much worse (conditions of the rooms, beddings, etc)
Sometimes it was very difficult to communicate with some of the staff, even with a translator, and it feels like I was talking to the alien, so be patient))

Eelmmmore than just clean and aesthetic, Le Recit is the most beautiful hotel in Dalat⊠I think it is newly renovated as everything looks so new and clean. The hotel has a storybook/ fairytale theme where the whole building is a story (Le Recit) and each floor is called a chapter, each room represents a page. All the designs are so beautiful and creative. I would love to stay at Le Recit again. the security dogs are so cute. But the front of the hotel is very muddy, hope they can fix that because itâs a bit nasty. and the breakfast options can be better. wifi is also weak. christmas decorations are amazing, each room door has their own wreath. fantastic
