We booked our room many weeks earlier, after we checked in I realized that the room prices dropped comparing our original prices, maybe not enough conference people attending. We booked a room that unfortunately was for the wrong dates through a third party. We were told by the third party that they would refund us but that the hotel had to release our reservation. We called them immediately after realizing the dates were wrong which was within an hour. The reservation was for two days from then. The hotel said they would not cancel it. They charged us almost $600 for a room we did not stay in and called in advance to explain our situation. They also did not allow for us to change the days to the days we were actually looking for. While the hotel is lovely and the staff was pleasant even delivering the bad news I won’t be looking to book with them again.

The hotel is beautiful and clean, located right in the city center. However, the service from the baggage handling staff was not enthusiastic; we had to carry our own luggage into the hotel, find our own luggage in the storage room, and carry it out to the car ourselves.

The hotel has a direct access to the airport. It’s the best for travelers who need accommodation for a short night near the Chicago airport area. I had a room overlooking the airport and I really loved it. The room looked a bit old but everything’s very clean and tidy. Service was good. Check-in and check-out were efficient. Do recommend this hotel for other travelers.

The hotel was fabulously located in the Loop. The room we had was very large, and although it was a bit dated, especially the bathroom, with a shower curtain, it was still very clean to this day. A minor issue with the drain was resolved immediately. The staff was very polite; they even let us leave our things on checkout day. I'd also like to mention that the British pub downstairs is fantastic, whether for lunch or for a drink when you arrive tired from sightseeing. In short, I would return.

I was to pay 117 at check in per room. Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.
