"During the AACR 10,000-person conference, the rooms were fully booked. I booked very late and it was quite expensive. There was nothing I could do. The room was average in size. The surrounding environment was good. It was a relatively safe downtown in Chicago. It was next to the Chicago River, a long way from the Big Pea and Lake Michigan. Across the street was the dock for the Chicago River cruise. There were many high-rise buildings in Chicago."

And I could not get a free cancellation because I didn’t have a doctors note and it was on Christmas Day, and I was not able to move due to high fever. Hotel did not accept my request even though my request was just a few minutes later on the deadline for the free cancellation. I was so disappointed that and obviously I was so excited to stay this hotel but I would never consider booking it again. It was a such wasting my money!"

"Spacious, well equipped rooms. Close to the Roosevelt L station. Decent pool and Jacuzzi but the hotel was full of families so there were always lots of kids which made it difficult to swim. Good gym. Basic breakfast with almost nothing if you are gluten-free. All disposable cutlery and plates at breakfast which is pretty grim but that seems to be standard in America. Just buy a dishwasher and some real crockery and cutlery."
