4-Star Hotels in Negombo

This is a beautiful villa in Negombo, located a 20-minute drive from Sri Lanka Airport. The owner, Mr. Dulshan, is genuinely kind; he even personally served us welcome drinks and wet towels. The villa is in better condition than a 5-star hotel. The interior of the house with its garden was so beautiful that I regretted only staying for one day. It is a perfect place to stay before or after arriving at the airport. We requested an airport pickup service from the accommodation, which costs $15. They maintain the entire facility in pristine condition, so everything feels safe. The house has strict security, so there is absolutely no risk involved. I highly recommend this place. I sincerely thank the owner and his wife for their hospitality. If I visit again, this is a place I definitely want to stay at again!!! (However, please note that toothpaste, toothbrushes, and body wash are not provided in the bathroom, so be sure to bring those with you! 😁)

Our stay at Bohemian Nest was nice. The room is very spacious and tidy. The best was very large. The bathroom is nice and tidy. Breakfast was good and so was the pool. The location is near the airport so it is perfect for a stay before or after a flight. There is not much in terms of shopping or food near the hotel but it is easy to get food delivered. The staff were very nice and helpful.

A convenient resort-style hotel. Located in a somewhat remote alley, it's convenient despite its location. Upon check-in, the manager upgraded us to a family room, giving us a larger space – great! We arrived around 7 or 8 pm, and the manager, Mr. Mareen, warmly welcomed us and offered delicious juice 🍹! He was also very attentive to our needs and safety throughout our stay, which was very heartwarming. However, the hotel facilities are a bit old and show signs of wear. Be aware that there was no hairdryer, toiletries, or slippers in the room (although we had our own). The TV was unusable, perhaps because we didn't know how to operate it. Because it's located by the sea, there were a lot of mosquitoes; we spent the whole night swatting them… and perhaps previous guests had brought back too much sand and mud from the beach, as the floors and bathroom mats had some marks. We prefer to walk barefoot, so I honestly think the cleaning could be improved! By the way, the seafood restaurant recommended by the manager was absolutely delicious 😋

Nice location near the international airport. They give free breakfast as well and accomodate according to your diets. Well kept and clean, although we had a minor issue with the hair dryer in our room not working at all.

Excelentes instalaciones. Muy límpio. Personal amable y eficiente. Sobre estar cerca de la carretera, nuestra habitación (en el tercer piso) estaba bastante bien insonorizada y no molestaba el ruido de vehículos. Buena comida en la cena a precio razonable. Muy buen desayuno incluido, y tambien incluido el uso de un excelente gimnasio con piscina que hay en el edificio de enfrente. Ha sido un acierto escogerlo como parada para ir al aeropuerto a la mañana siguiente. También gestionaron nuestro traslado al aeropuerto a buen precio. Todo genial!! 👍🏽👌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😄

A great very well priced hotel to stay after arriving in Sri Lanka before our tour starts. The manager was extremely helpful and nothing is too much. The breakfast was also excellent. A very good priced hotel to start your Sri Lankan holiday - highly recommend

Booked a King size bed two single beds room but what I got was a queen size bed and only one single bed. Hotel said sorry but did offer any conpen (breakfast) or anything. It was a little uncomfortable because we did book this room for a reason. Besides that it was an ok place, nice little pool the kids can play but the billiards table.. if you have a table.. take care of the sticks.. it was impossible to play. Anyways. Not sure I'll go back. After walking around the area, saw plenty of other places (might be worse) around.

I booked this one for my parents. Initially the hotel had made a mistake. My parents were one hour late to check in. Still there was a person in their room. The hotel had given my parents a different room for one hour. As a compensation for the trouble, they gave a suite for the last night of my parents’ staying. In Trip.com, this hotel is a 4 star hotel. But the staff say it is a 3 star hotel. Service, cleanliness and amenities match a 3 star hotel as well but not the price.

The pool was under renovation from July 11 to 25, so I understood that the significant discount was likely due to that. The room was clean and generally comfortable, but the position of the air conditioner in the bedroom was not ideal — the cold air blew directly onto the bed, which made it very chilly while sleeping. As for the location, the hotel is not directly on the beach but across a road from it. If you want to feel closer to the beach, staying at a beachfront hotel might be a better choice.

Hotel close to airport make it very convenient, however you need to use express lane to Colombo as it is slightly out of the city . You don’t have much choice for food as only two dining restaurant available but it offer a 24 hours room service make it a plus point . Complementary shuttle service for airport pick up is a bonus .
