The hotel is located on Heiwa Boulevard, a 10-minute drive from Hiroshima Station, and offers a free shuttle bus service to the Shinkansen station in the morning. Public transport is also convenient, with a 7-Eleven convenience store diagonally opposite. The rooms are small but cozy. Like all Dormy Inn hotels, there's no bathtub in the room, but you can enjoy the public hot springs on the rooftop. Standard amenities include free late-night ramen, ice cream, and lactic acid drinks in the morning. Overall, I was very satisfied. There's a shopping street right behind the hotel with plenty of food and drink options, so you don't need to walk far to get to Hon-dori. Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park is also just a 20-minute walk away.

It was a completely unmanned hotel. From the amenities, it is a facility that can stay for a long time, but the price is not so cheap, so it is tough for the average Japanese living in Japan. I think it is good for overseas customers.

This is a newly opened hotel in Hiroshima. The room has a microwave and washing machine, but no kitchenware. The room is also relatively small but very clean, and the soundproofing is quite good, so I slept very well every night. Breakfast is just simple bread; if there's a big price difference in your booking, I wouldn't recommend buying it. Additionally, from 10 AM to 10 PM, there's a simple drink bar with dried fruits that you can enjoy there, but you can't take them back to your room, which is a bit of a shame. Also, toothbrushes are only provided once! In the room, the lobby amenities only include cotton swabs, combs, and razors, no skincare products.

An above-average room with three tiny, loophole-like windows, the blackout blinds of which couldn't be opened during the day due to broken blinds. A large bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and rain shower. A well-equipped kitchenette, but no table or chair, just a sofa and a side table—barely suitable furniture for properly consuming home-cooked meals. Strict adherence to check-in times. We had to present our passports several times and then enter all our personal information, from our date of birth to our address, into a computer terminal. This data was all known from the reservation or could have been read from the passports. In other hotels, such data was pre-entered, and after verification, we only had to sign. That would be a standard that corresponds to today's digital world. The selection of amenities was extremely modest. Only instant coffee was available, no drip coffee bags. For breakfast, we were referred to three station cafés, some of which didn't open until 9:00 a.m. We cannot understand the extremely positive reviews from other guests.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip, and its location is excellent. It's right next to a subway station, making commuting to various client sites incredibly convenient. There are also plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, which was great for daily essentials. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, always neat and dry, and the soundproofing was good, allowing for a peaceful rest after a long day. The front desk staff were polite and professional; they handled luggage storage, check-in, and check-out very efficiently. The room's facilities were comprehensive, meeting both my work and relaxation needs. Overall, it's perfect for business travelers. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip to Tokyo/Hiroshima. Highly recommended for anyone traveling for business.

I picked the hotel for the location, this year my remit for hotels was to be as close to the beach as possible. The entrance is pretty spectacular, a shop and a cafe on the ground floor. There is a gym and an onsen (I couldn't go in as I am covered in tattoos - this is a normal rule in the onsen's. If you have tattoos and are not aware of this you should be travelling around Japan) There are multiple restaurant's on different floors. Hands down the best was the sky lounge on the 23rd floor amazing views and a selection of food either buffet style or an a la carte menu. I need to come back to sample the other restaurants, staff were very helpful and the hotel was spotlessly clean. Amazing location not too far from the city and the peace museum, there is a taxi rank outside the hotel my trip this morning to the station was so easy, taxi door to door. If you go I urge you to walk around the island as well wonderful views with little sandy areas to sit and relax.

After all, it's a high-end IHG hotel, so the facilities are very complete. Although the room isn't huge, it has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. There are many 24-hour convenience stores nearby, and it's also very convenient for dining and business meals. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming. If I travel to Changdao again for business, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

This hotel is really value for money! The rooms have a kitchen and a washer/dryer combo, which is super convenient for families with kids. The Sharp washing machine works great! There are also three convenience stores downstairs, so you're all set for daily essentials. Keep in mind that hotels in Japan, especially in tourist areas, are generally expensive and rooms tend to be small. What you'd get for $200-$300 in other countries might only be a 4-star equivalent here, or even 3-star in prime locations. If you're on a budget and not too picky, this is a solid choice!

The interior has a classic feel. It looks a bit dated, but since I was only sleeping there, it didn't bother me. The bathtub was spacious, and the distance to the toilet was good, so it didn't feel cramped. It was clean. The staff were also very kind. There's a convenience store nearby, and it's within walking distance of Hiroshima Station, but since there's a streetcar station nearby, I took the streetcar for just one stop.
