4-Star Hotels in Hiroshima City

Hiroshima was a pleasant surprise! The city is quite large and beautiful. The hotel offers a shuttle van in the mornings that can take you to the JR station; just book it in advance at the front desk. The top floor has an onsen (hot spring bath), and after your soak, there's free ice cream. From 5 AM to 10 AM, they offer complimentary Yakult, and from 9:30 PM to 11 PM, there's free ramen and drinks. Don't miss out on these perks if you're staying here!

Very grand hotel, dated in the age of build. Very clean bathroom and beds. Amazing, grand entrance way. Very close to sightseeing areas and local sighseening bus stops. Excellent view of the city. Lots of personal amenity provided (toothbrush etc). Access to gym/fitness centre is additional (substantial) costs. Lovely staff with excellent English.

My stay at this hotel was quite good overall. The location is decent – it's about a 10-minute walk with luggage from Hiroshima Station if you cross the bridge from the Fukuya side and turn left. There's a FamilyMart convenience store about 20 meters in front of the hotel, and Shukkei-en Garden is super close, roughly a 7-8 minute walk away. Most of the city's shopping areas (Kamiya-cho, Hon-dori shopping street, Hiroshima Castle, Peace Memorial Park, etc.) and major department stores are all within a 20-30 minute walk, so nothing is too far. The hotel lobby on the first floor is staffed 24 hours a day, and the cleaning staff tidies up daily. The breakfast selection is also quite varied, and you don't have to wait long for the elevators. There are plenty of dining options nearby as well. All in all, it was a good experience! I'd consider staying here again on my next trip to Hiroshima.

The hotel is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Hiroshima Station's South Exit. The room was on the smaller side, which I expected. Downstairs, they offer breakfast from 7-10 AM, with a good selection of breads, small pastries, apple juice, orange juice, and coffee. If you don't have super high expectations, it's pretty decent. There are also quite a few good izakayas nearby, but unfortunately, they allow smoking, so we couldn't go in with kids. However, there's a nice yakiniku place close by that was a good alternative.

An above-average room with three tiny, loophole-like windows, the blackout blinds of which couldn't be opened during the day due to broken blinds. A large bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and rain shower. A well-equipped kitchenette, but no table or chair, just a sofa and a side table—barely suitable furniture for properly consuming home-cooked meals. Strict adherence to check-in times. We had to present our passports several times and then enter all our personal information, from our date of birth to our address, into a computer terminal. This data was all known from the reservation or could have been read from the passports. In other hotels, such data was pre-entered, and after verification, we only had to sign. That would be a standard that corresponds to today's digital world. The selection of amenities was extremely modest. Only instant coffee was available, no drip coffee bags. For breakfast, we were referred to three station cafés, some of which didn't open until 9:00 a.m. We cannot understand the extremely positive reviews from other guests.

There was a feeling of cleanliness, the room was beautiful, and the amenities were abundant, so I was able to spend a relaxing time. I would like to introduce it to my friends.

My trip yesterday was quite a roller coaster. On my way from Fukuoka to Hiroshima, I accidentally left my backpack on the Shinkansen, and I was completely broke. When I explained the situation to Ms. Li, a staff member at the Trust Hotel, she immediately helped me call the relevant departments to report the lost item. She even paid my accommodation tax for me, and I was able to retrieve my lost belongings in Osaka the next day. The Trust Hotel in Hiroshima made me feel incredibly warm and cared for, even though I was in a foreign city. I will definitely be back! A special thanks to Ms. Li, and also to the Chinese gentleman working the night shift and the Japanese lady who assisted me. Thank you all so much!

Initially i wanted to book a hotel somewhere in the downtown. But the breakfast and the dinner here caught my eyes. Also the view of the inland islands. I stayed 2 nights here, I came from Fukuoka where my plane landed. The taxi fare from hiroshima station to the hotel is about 3000-3500 yen. There is free hotel shuttle bus but i did not take it. Also, there is public bus stopping right outside the hotel (which i found out later). Though the hotel is old, it is well kept and clean. The staff were very eager to assist the guests and there is always a smile on the face. I was given the 17th floor facing east. But the morning sun was too bright. Though it didnt matter much to me. Another reason i booked this hotel is they have speed boat counter for Miyajima island. I booked one way there as I have the JR pass for return and I have plans after. One way ticket from hotel to Miyajima is 2400 yen and return is 4500 yen. There is a convenience store in the hotel. But I believe they closes at 2200. Also, there is hot spring in the hotel. There is a usage charge for it, but i do not recall the price as i did not use. I went up to the bar on the 1st night. The view was great. Most importantly the price are reasonable too. For both days, i ate at the chinese restaurant for breakfast. 1st day was Japanese breakfast set. 2nd day was Japanese buffet style breakfast. They were delicious. The western and Japanese buffet breakfast at the top floor were very crowded. But they had more selections. For my return trip to Beppu, I used the concierge (bell desk) to send my big luggage to Fukuoka. The price was okay. I took the hotel shuttle bus go Hiroshima station. It was a pleasant ride. Do take note it is first come first serve and there’s a queue. I will stay here again, should I come back to Hiroshima. Thank you.

The interior has a classic feel. It looks a bit dated, but since I was only sleeping there, it didn't bother me. The bathtub was spacious, and the distance to the toilet was good, so it didn't feel cramped. It was clean. The staff were also very kind. There's a convenience store nearby, and it's within walking distance of Hiroshima Station, but since there's a streetcar station nearby, I took the streetcar for just one stop.

Nice hotel within walking distance from the railway station. The room is clean and tidy. It’s good to have a washing machine, but out of my expectation there is no space or any hanger for hanging up the wet clothes. That’s a bit weird.
