The Hilton Hiroshima is a brand new hotel and we really enjoyed the design, spaciousness, and the breakfast. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming, and has all the facilities of a 5 star hotel. The staffs speak fluent English so there no problem in communication. We had a spacious room with king bed, with also plenty of space for a round table. The bathroom was also very big and beautifully designed. The best part of our stay was definitely breakfast, and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying at this hotel. It was a luxury buffet breakfast with over 100 choices of food in Japanese and international styles, including hot food such as udon and soba which were cooked per your request. Parking at the hotel costs 2500 yen per night for guests staying at the hotel. There may be cheaper options nearby as there are a lot of parking in Hiroshima.

VERY convenient location - just steps from Hiroshima train station. Staff are very nice and helpful. Room was on high floor and very nice view. Since it is in transit center, it is very easy to take trains, trolleys, subways around town. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. They put an extra bed in room since there were 3 of us, but it made the room a bit crowded. The 2 doubles would have been comfortable enough for us. Room and bath were very nicely appointed - I’m not sure about other travelers’ criticism - I think the layout was quite typical for Japanese rooms. It was also very convenient to have the change machine in the lobby to exchange currency. Breakfasts were good and staff were quite accommodating

The location of the hotel is the best in Hiroshima, I have to say. It's less than 10 minutes walk to Hiroshima Castle, 15 minutes from Nuclear Bombing Dome, and right beside one the biggest shopping Plaza in Hiroshima. However, the amenities and service are quite disappointing. Very slow internet, broken AC and terrible breakfast are some of many complains that I have. By the way, they have spa, gym, and indoor swimming pool which none of them are usable. You have to be a member or pay extra to use them. Very ridiculous, they should state the condition on the app before someone books the hotel. Big minus from me.

Had a sumptuous one night stay here, introducing the family to the ryokan experience. Check-in was gracious and easy, the family room was a good size (for Japan!) and the air conditioning in August was super-frosty. All facilities clean, with yukatas all round including little ones for the kids at reception. A sobering view of the A-bomb dome across the road, secreted behind trees providing kind cover. The onsen was hot and very welcome after all that walking. Traditional breakfast was a feast-like experience and the pickled plums turned our heads inside-out. Had a friendly chat with the owner as we checked out - a big Carp fan - that rounded off a very pleasant traditional stay.

I was travelling with a group, so I didn't choose it myself. The location is excellent. It is close to the Peace park, a big shopping mall/area and the stop for the streetcar/tram. The is a supermarket and a bakery close by. I stayed in the New Ikawa building. The building has both stairs and an elevator. The rooms are nice and clean. We had a traditional room with futons. There are nog regular chairs or something, but there was a floortable and some cusions. They offered complementary shampoo, bodywash and conditioner. And you could borrow the provided nightshirts. You can ask for the staff not to clean the room and they will leave out clean towels and such. If have problems with getting up or sitting on the floor, this place is not for you. The staff is nice. There is small area where you can sit, but no additional place to eat as you can't use the dinning area or the microwave for your own food. I recommend a stay at this ryokan!

I used it because the breakfast evaluation was high. As the reputation is, the breakfast was large and I couldn't see it in business food, so I thought it was handmade one by one. It was delicious. Women recommend bringing small things and changing clothes in the room because there is no bag. You can go to the public bath with roomwear and slippers, but you may be able to see through because the dough is thin. Basic cosmetics are only one in the dressing room. It is better to bring this because it is not placed in 々 in the place where the body is washed. There are many convenience stores and restaurants around the hotel.

It is a modern hotel with a rebranded feeling. The interior is also renovated beautifully, but I was also worried that it was sacrificed by several concept priorities. The front desk is on the top floor, but there are few elevators, so people who go to the front desk and people who go to the room are always waiting. This is apart style accommodation. No housekeeping during my stay (less than 7 days). Room was equipped with full kitchen (but no oven), fridge freezer, microwave, IH cook top, all utensils and dishes. Dish washing detergent. Bathroom equipped with standard Japanese bathroom (tub and shower), washing machine with washing detergent. Clothing can be dried with bathroom drier function. Garbage bag is provided for length of stay and discard of by the guest. Rubbish point is just outside the building. In-house guests can pick some teas, coffee and bathroom amenities such as comb and tooth brushes at the reception area. Sound proof is good. Basically no reception staff on the spot, reception staffs are available via video call. Check in is self service. The accommodation is in quiet neighbourhood area although located just walking distance from Hiroshima peace memorial park. There are convenience store and small supermarket nearby, this not too inconvenient. Nearby street car (tram) station is less than 10 minutes by walk. Great luxury choice for long stayer.
