BBalintuoyidiqingThis hotel is great. The location is very convenient, just 7-8 minutes walk from the train station. The surrounding environment is very quiet. I live on the second floor. There is a large green lawn in front of me with beautiful scenery. There are villas with beautiful scenery all around. It is not far from the scenic spot. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the pier, where you can take a boat or a small train. I will bring my friends to stay here in the future.

Rrockylee1. The location of the hotel is very good. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the cruise ship terminal. There are many restaurants nearby and the accommodation is very convenient. The room is large and there is a living room, unexpected, but the living room side is on the bedside, next to the street, sooner or later, some noisy, especially the UK speed is generally faster, pay attention to it. Breakfast is prepared in advance bread yogurt cereal milk, some in the refrigerator, some in the locker, do not have too much expectations.
2. If you come by car, you will need a parking card with the front desk, which costs £3 a day. There are unlimited parking. There are several places to park. It is actually very convenient. When you leave, you can go to the parking lot to drive first, and put the key and parking card at the front desk when you come back.

CCVVANIt was very pleasant. Although small, it had everything. It was convenient to get in and out and close to the station. We had a rich breakfast every morning. After breakfast, they would ask us where we were going today. Do you know how to get there? Their service is super friendly.

GGuest UserRum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself.
We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area.
Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too.
We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful.
After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks.
We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

GGuest User아이와 함께 세가족이 윈더미어를 방문했습니다. 숙소의 방은 욕실과 화장실이 분리되어 있어 조금 아쉽긴했지만 매우 깨끗하게 정리되어 있었습니다. 이틀 묵었는데 두번째 날 밤에는 보일러가 고장나 전기 라디에이터를 별도로 제공해줘서 불편함은 없었습니다. 매일 아침 정성스럽게 준비해준 조식을 다이닝룸에서 서비스해줬는데 매우 만족했습니다. 조용조용한 성격의 주인은 식사시간에 같이 이야기도 나누었고 사진을 보며 가족이야기도 했습니다. 레이크디스트릭트의 배를 탈수 있는 곳까지 걸어서 갈 수 있는 좋은 위치입니다. 마을 중심의 상가와 음식점들이 있는 곳으로의 접근성도 나쁘지 않습니다.
저녁에는 테이크어웨이 해온 음식을 다이닝룸에서 먹을 수 있습니다. 오히려 복잡한 식당보다 여유롭고 즐겁게 식사할 수 있었습니다. 친절한 주인부부의 인상이 매우 좋았습니다. 다시 윈더미어를 방문해도 이 숙소에서 숙박하고 싶네요.

GGuest UserYou can see the small courtyard of the lake, the service is warm and thoughtful, and the health is very good. You can have dinner and drink in the store. Very warm. It was rainy when we arrived, so we could hangout in the hotel and not afraid of wind and rain. You can see the lake and the snowy mountains on a sunny day. Breakfast is semi-buffet, you can order a fresh meal, I recommend french toast. We saw two rabbits running outside at breakfast.

YYifanThis house was built in 1850. This house can be checked in through a password. The bed is soft and comfortable, the room is very warm, and the hot water is sufficient. It is a little bit far from the railway station, but very close to the lake. A good trip experience!

GGuest UserThe family room booked can sleep three people no problem. The hotel reserved the best room with a small balcony where you can sit on the balcony and have a cup of coffee and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Parking is free, which is perfect.

AAnonymous UserThe room was lovely, the right size for a couple, generally well thought out & very clean. My only challenge was not being able to sit at the desk/dressing table & see in the mirror. Due to the sloped ceiling the mirror was too low / the stool was too high. A minor inconvenience really. The shower pressure was good though which we enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Staff were friendly & helpful - even recommending walks & restaurants etc. Would go back.

I was most dissatisfied with a male waiter, his attitude was particularly bad, I suspect he was a ******, his attitude was really bad, I have stayed in so many places in the world in hotels and B&Bs, this male waiter's attitude was the worst, I entered the staff area is my fault, but I entered from the restaurant, there is no staff only to enter the prompts, the male waiter kicked me out like a dog, I felt I was insulted.The waiter shooed me out like a dog, I felt insulted, it seems that the quality of the British people really needs to be improved.
