This accommodation was excellent. for us.It was situated in a tiny village with only one local pub, which was ideal for us. Cambridge is only 10miles away. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The Lodge was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. A nice touch was a plate of fairy cakes and a jar of cookies to welcome you. There was also a jug of milk in the fridge. The bed was sublime. Extremely soft and comfortable. I normally only manage 3-4 hours sleep daily, but on our two night stay i slept right through both nights. Breakfast was a full English delivered to our door, and it was delicious. I can't recommend this place and it's host highly enough. If I'm visiting the area again Thorn House will definitely be my first choice.

Cambridge inn likes the layout from the scenery to the building. Especially the outdoor bar and peacocks are accompanied. The English breakfast is also delicious and the parking lot is close to the church.

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The air conditioning was not working, the paint in the room was peeling, and there was visible rust on the door hinges, which made the space feel poorly maintained. The most frustrating issue was the smoke detector going off with false alarms several times, including in the early morning. When I tried calling the front desk for assistance, no one answered, which added to the inconvenience. Overall, this experience did not meet the standard I expect from Holiday Inn. I hope the management takes steps to address these maintenance and service issues for future guests.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The room had no heating, so it became quite cold during the night and was uncomfortable to sleep in. I requested a portable heater, but it took over an hour for one to be brought to the room. While the staff eventually helped, the long wait and lack of heating made the stay much less comfortable than expected.

Room is small and little bit old fashion style, this hotel is a historical hotel so it doesn’t affect it’s beauty. The room with Park view that awesome, pay 333 pounds per night is ok for the value!! breakfast is good and the hotel is in the town center so it’s very easier to get whatever you want, don’t stay at the hotel near the railway station because it’s still has a distance to the city center!! hotel allowed free bicycle renting service, that’s so nice!!

The hotel's location is unbeatable, within walking distance of all of Cambridge's major attractions. It's right across the street from Saver and Sansbury supermarkets, very convenient, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The room has a microwave, refrigerator, and basic cutlery; you can even reheat takeout orders – great! The hotel's private glass-domed garden restaurant is fantastic. The service was excellent; any issues were resolved promptly, especially with Chris, who patiently addressed my problems – thank you so much. My only complaint is that Ctrip didn't communicate well with the hotel. Both Ctrip and the hotel charged me, resulting in double billing. I had to make overseas calls for ages to resolve the issue, and it's still unresolved. This has happened twice now, and Ctrip's management and problem-solving abilities are extremely disappointing. Their attitude was arrogant and perfunctory when problems arose.

Breakfast is average, it is normal, nothing special. The room is too small, and it is rare to live in such a small room at this price. There is a chair in the room, and it is necessary to find a waiter to give another chair. From the picture posted on the door, we stayed in the smallest room in the whole hotel. Really unhappy.

Kalpana and Habiba are really helpful and made my stay so good! This was actually the 3rd time I have stayed at Hotel du Vin and every single time the both of them showed great knowledge of the hotel, facilities and even the city! Strongly recommend the hotel and the service staff!! Daryl

The front desk service is very warm, invite dinner, etc., breakfast is also very good, the environment is good
