Perfect place… near to restaurants, near to hotspring park and near ti night market and also near stores for pasalubong… we are super enjoy the spa…

Yu Peng Villa was our first and BEST accommodation on this Yilan-Taroko-SML-Alishan road trip. We arrived much later than expected and were relieved that our message to Trip.com got through to the guesthouse. When we drove up to the place (an easy find with GPS), a member of the staff walked up to our car and guided us to the drop off point. I love the designer vibes of the property which is well maintained with a sizeable garden and plenty of flowers in bloom. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The showers worked and there was hot water. The western-style breakfast was generous in portion and delicious. Best of all was the hospitality extended to us. It was the only place where we felt truly welcomed on this 8-day trip. The staff here chatted with us, gave advice on places of interest and sent us off with fruit from the orchard. After the great experience here, all the other places we stayed at pale drastically in comparison. If you're planning to visit the Kavalan Distillery, this place is a great stayover option! Truly a slice of paradise.

Aside from the regrettable spa facilities management, I'm satisfied with the room condition and location. Compared to nearby hotels, the customer service during check-in was quite lacking, and the breakfast was also disappointing for the price. However, if they can improve the spa management, which is their strong point, it's a hotel I would recommend.

The location is not very near city but with car or taxi it is easily access to anywhere. What matters is the staff and their service. The family room we booked for 2 nights is spacious and has sufficient room to move around. However, the sewer smell is strong. We informed the staff and they rectified it immediately. The next night all good, room very clean. Thank you to staff 呂宝桂, 陈品洋，张新鸿. All 3 of them gave us the best impression, very kind, helpful and have passion for their work. Well done. Tourism industry need you more. For a place to be successful it is not about the facilities, the room but also people who work there.

The surrounding countryside is beautiful. The room has small children's play equipment, which the kids loved and didn't want to leave. There are bicycles available for rent at the door, but unfortunately, it was so hot, so everyone enjoyed the view from the balcony! Hahaha. The bathtub in the bathroom is huge, but it's a shame we didn't use it because we finished it. It will definitely be great to soak in it when we come back in the winter! I really like this place! It was a great reason to go to Luodong Night Market for dinner in the evening!

The hotel breakfast staff were incredibly polite and always smiling, making the start of the day very pleasant. The restaurant area even preserved the original large trees, designing around them beautifully, and they are very well-maintained – fantastic! The bathroom and soaking tub in our room type this time were quite spacious, giving a very comfortable feeling. 👍 However, there was a thick layer of dust on some counter surfaces in the room and under the bed, which might need more attention from housekeeping.

I recently stayed at a charming bed and breakfast that exceeded all my expectations. The highlight was definitely the playful slide right in our bedroom—what a fun and unexpected touch! The kids had a blast and made our stay feel even more special. Outside, the play pool was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. We enjoyed splashing around and lounging in the sun. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, making it an ideal place to kick back after a day of exploring. One of the best parts of our stay was the delicious ********* food served at the B&B. Each meal was bursting with flavor, showcasing authentic dishes that satisfied our cravings. I highly recommend trying their rice rolls and congee —they were simply delightful! Overall, this bed and breakfast offers a wonderful blend of fun activities and fantastic food. Whether you're visiting with family or looking for a unique getaway, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back for more sliding and savoring!

Kids' Experience: Features a wide array of facilities, including a huge indoor play area with diverse amenities, regular Happy Hour snacks, and interactive meet-and-greets. It's truly a place where kids ”can play all day long.” 🚗 Convenient Transportation: Approximately a 2-5 minute walk from Luodong Train Station and about 5-10 minutes from Luodong Night Market. Free parking is also available. 🛏️ Inconsistent Accommodation Quality: Poor soundproofing leads to easy noise disturbance. Some rooms have a musty smell, and air conditioning is not adjustable. Several amenities suffer from insufficient water pressure, often resulting in no hot water. Additionally, there are no self-service laundry machines. 🍽️ Mediocre Dining: Breakfast options are limited, timed, and give a rushed feeling.

I accidentally booked the mobi room just thinking it has a nice big bed. Turns out it's exactly what you need if you have a car. Ground floor is a private car parking space with access to the second floor room which is massive and really nice. Didn't realise but there's also a steam room in the shower and a huge bath, so had a nice long soak after a long hike. Pretty handy for the station, nearby shops and there's a fantastic meat bao place across the road and up the street a bit (opposite the temple at the start of the old street). The old street wasn't anything special and I didn't see any evidence of the night Barney happening.
