4-Star Hotels in Dayi

Originally, we planned to stop in Chengdu for a rest on the way back, but we didn't want to go into the city to find a hotel. So we carefully selected this hot spring homestay under the snow-capped mountains. After checking in, we found that it was really worth it. It was amazing. From the design of the homestay environment and room to the small welcome gifts, the quality was very high. Even the vase on the table was filled with fresh flowers. The hot spring is natural sulfur water with a faint smell of sulfur, which is very similar to the hot spring water in Tengchong, Yunnan. Moreover, it is a private bath with great privacy. I will definitely find an opportunity to bring my family here again in the future.

First and foremost, the bed was incredibly comfortable, which was the most important thing. Then, the environment was very comfortable, the breakfast was simple but delicious, and the price was reasonable—less than 400 yuan on weekdays and less than 500 yuan during the National Day holiday. The markup wasn't high, making it a very conscientious business. The downsides were also obvious. The guesthouse truly embraced the concept of seclusion; the location was very remote. The long staircase at the entrance had no lights, so you had to use a flashlight to climb it in the dark. While the staircase inside the guesthouse was unique, it wasn't very comfortable for my feet after a long day of sightseeing. There was a noticeable odor when I opened the room door, the shower water flowed unevenly, and the bathroom door wasn't sealed properly, so water would leak out while showering—a bit of a nuisance.

I checked in on the first day of the ***** New Year. The room cost over 1,000 yuan. It was a very small B&B, about the size of Figure 2. The aunt was very welcoming. As soon as I arrived at the door, she took the initiative to carry my luggage to the room and prepared some fruit. The room had floor heating and an electric blanket. It was simpler than I expected, but it was the best one I could choose at the time. Breakfast was provided, and if you wanted clear soup noodles, the aunt would cook it for you. The location was very close to Xiling Snow Mountain, within walking distance. The B&B provided a special car pick-up service, which was only a 2-minute drive away.
