"This is a lovely hotel. It comes with complimentary VIP pass which makes our journey to the hotel very smooth and comfortable. Hotel staff waited and guided us at every checkpoint. The room is very clean and it’s got nice toiletries. Staff were very accommodative and even contacted us few days prior to the trip to arrange for transportation and luggage drop. The hotel is located at a strategic location, near to the cablecar station. Walking distance to shops and playground."

"Facilities: For a hotel that's been around for 30 years, the facilities are remarkably well-maintained, truly living up to its reputation as a five-star establishment. Cleanliness: I couldn't find any faults with the cleanliness. The room offered a variety of disposable, for-purchase toiletries, allowing guests to choose according to their personal needs. Environment: The hotel is surrounded by dining options. To the left, there are 3-4 BBQ restaurants (open until 1 AM), and across the street, you'll find teppanyaki, hot pot, and Korean BBQ. The hotel itself also offers dining choices. Service: I absolutely must give this hotel a huge thumbs-up for its service! I'm especially grateful for the heartwarming service I experienced during my stay. Originally, my friend and I each booked a room. Thanks to the front desk staff's thoughtful and proactive call, they informed us that we had accidentally booked an extra room and advised us to cancel it promptly to avoid unnecessary charges. This attentive gesture, showing genuine care for guests and helping them avoid losses, was incredibly reassuring. It's truly in the details that quality shines through! The hotel environment is fantastic, the room decor is exquisite, and the private hot spring experience was also wonderful. Both cleanliness and service were impeccable. The biggest surprise was this attitude of treating guests like friends, not just for profit. Not only was the stay comfortable, but I also felt respected. "Whenever I can't decide where to go, I think of spending a night in Anren. I've lost count of how many times I've been here; I just inexplicably love this place. The heating in the room was very comfortable. However, the restaurant didn't have the air conditioning on, which was a shame for the lady standing at the door. The corridor was also quite cold. I hope they can improve the food warmer, otherwise, the dishes get cold too quickly."

Lai Fu and Wang Cai, two Chinese dogs, took us for walks, always looking back to keep us company. If it weren't for my allergies, I'd have invited them to the room for a nap. 😂 The food was a pleasant surprise, and my husband even had longevity noodles and a card for his birthday—so thoughtful! The only minor complaint was the mildew and odor in the bathroom, but I'm sure it'll be addressed soon. My principle is that it can be old and worn, but not dirty. Mildew isn't good for your health, either. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!"
