This little courtyard nestled in the mountains truly amazed me. From the moment I stepped in, I was drawn to its warmth and comfort. The room was exquisitely decorated, with every detail showcasing the owner's care and taste. The hot spring bath was lovely, the bed was soft and comfortable, and it was wonderfully quiet at night, allowing for a great night's sleep that left me feeling completely refreshed. The owner was also very welcoming; we arrived quite late, but they didn't hesitate to come out with a flashlight to greet us (the parking is about 20 meters from the courtyard). Cleanliness is my top priority, and it was impeccably clean and tidy. The environment is beyond words – the fresh air was incredibly refreshing. After a long day at work, coming here instantly released all negative energy. The service was excellent and very warm. It was a particularly comfortable and enjoyable trip. Waking up in the morning to see the lush greenery outside the window was especially delightful. I'll definitely go back.
It's also pet-friendly, which is a big plus! 👍

Guest UserThe hotel's environment, facilities, and service deserve high praise! The restaurant chef was superb; every dish we ordered was delicious. The red soup noodles with hand-stirred bamboo shoots for breakfast were especially praised by the elders! Although it's a guesthouse, the attention to detail is impeccable, with thoughtful touches everywhere, and every step reveals a beautiful scene. The koi in the pond and the rooftop garden are captivating, making it worth staying for several days!

We picked this place for our summer getaway to Xiling Snow Mountain after seeing its positive reviews, and it truly didn't disappoint! The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. It's so naturally cool here, you don't even need air conditioning. We'll definitely be back to stay here again for some snow fun when winter arrives. Watching the snow from the balcony is sure to be an amazing experience!

Guest UserThe room was clean, the night was quiet, and it was a few minutes walk from Gongguan Street. Ten minutes from Jianchuan Museum. The winter swimming pool is not open. The ”original ecological beef” beef soup pot next door is full of delicious and warm service. In the morning, you can go to the ”Chen Youtiao” to drink soy milk to eat oil cakes, and have breakfast such as hand-copying noodles.

Guest UserThis hotel is very nice, the room is spacious, and the service is 100%. They provide affordable price for transport within Xiling mountain. During night time the boss here saved us from being charger by didi driver which ask us for extra charge. The next night, They also send and pickup us to nearby town for hot spring with affordable charges. They also helped us to book bus ticket to go back to chengdu and asked the bus driver to pick us up at hotel instead of the bus station. Thank you so much for the hospitality and would be happy to come here again!

magictree83Service: Very good, the front desk girl is warm and polite, the travel advice given is very key, let me this trip to Anren Ancient Town is very complete
Environment: Going out to the left 100 meters is the Republic of China style street, 200 meters to the right is the big archway at the crossroads of Liu Wencaijia and Jianchuan Museum Group. It is very convenient to go anywhere, and it is a little far away from the tourist gathering area. It is quiet to help sleep at night.
Hygiene: very good
Facilities: The interior design is simple and bright, the outdoor courtyard is full of vitality, and there is a koi fish pond, which feels very careful. Tips: Some towels are about to take off, let's change them.

Overall, it was pretty good. It was my first time staying in a tent. The room was quite spacious, and right outside the tent was snow. Walking a short distance to the restroom was fine, though it was a bit inconvenient to go at night because of how cold it was. Inside the room, it was warm enough, but even with the heater and electric blanket on, the air still felt a bit chilly. It was perfectly fine once you were snuggled under the covers. The rooms were quite private, with a good distance between other tents, so overall safety felt good. This kind of stay is nice for one night for the experience, but probably not ideal for a longer stay. I originally wanted to try the 'stove-boiled tea' experience, but it was a bit pricey for just me, and they weren't offering it in the evening, so I skipped it. The service was good; you could communicate via WeChat, and the environment was also nice. There was snow everywhere, and for a first-time experience, it was pretty decent.

The room had a rustic, wood-themed design, and the sheets and blankets were incredibly soft and clean!
The hot spring is located directly on the first floor! It features both high-temperature and low-temperature pools, surrounded by bamboo groves and rock formations. The misty atmosphere makes soaking in the hot spring feel like being in a fairyland – you can listen to the mountain breeze while soaking! 🌿 The hot pot was absolutely delicious! The owner's freshly sliced beef and secret-recipe satay sauce were simply amazing. Enjoying a hot pot by the mountain and water was so satisfying!
The hotel also has a karaoke room 🎤, and I even tried playing the guqin and drums.
The owner was like a caring older brother or sister, proactively helping with luggage and patiently recommending things to do in the surrounding area. From the local customs of Huashuiwan to off-the-beaten-path routes to Xiling Snow Mountain, they shared everything they knew. Staying here felt as comfortable and relaxing as visiting relatives.
For working professionals looking to relax and unwind on the weekend, I highly recommend the Xiaoyao Shuigu Hot Spring Hotel in Huashuiwan – a place that combines clean accommodations, stunning hot springs, fun activities, and delicious food! ✨

XiaoyantiantianOverall, the room was decent, but the cleaning wasn't thorough. Under the bed was quite dirty, with lots of dust and papers. For a price of over 1200 yuan, including tickets for two adults and the cable car up to the ski resort, plus the bus fee, it felt like a good deal. The tickets alone would be 240*2=480, and we also received a 100 yuan dinner voucher. So, 1250 - 580 = 670, meaning the room itself was around 670 yuan a night, which is pretty reasonable for the period around Chinese New Year. The bottled water in the room was a super big bottle, and the hotel dinner was delicious. It was very cost-effective with the voucher – the boiled fish and cauliflower were absolutely amazing, I highly recommend them! The room was advertised as having underfloor heating, but the floor wasn't actually warm. However, it wasn't cold in the room, so it was fine. Xiling Snow Mountain is perfect for kids to play in the snow, build snowmen, and ski. It snowed on Feb 7th and 8th, and we arrived on the afternoon of Feb 10th. Our younger child played for a good half-day just building snowmen at the hotel entrance. The older child went skiing at the resort, hired an instructor for 2 hours, and skied for 4 hours. Renting gear and all cost about 1000 yuan. The instructor suggested booking a 2-hour single board lesson for 600 yuan upfront. If you book an hour and then extend for another, it's 340+340=680 yuan. Adult skiing costs 168 for two hours, and children's skiing is 128 for two hours, with an extension fee of 30 yuan for half an hour. Once accumulated to 6 hours, it becomes a full-day pass. Our child wanted to learn snowboarding, so we hired a single board instructor. We only booked for an hour initially, thinking an extension would be calculated as part of the 600 yuan total, but it wasn't; it was 340+340=680. Since we rarely visit, it's fine as long as the child had fun. I feel it's much better than going to Harbin in Northeast China. It was too cold there when I visited, and the kids couldn't really enjoy playing in the snow because only their eyes could be exposed, and they needed two pairs of gloves to stay warm. But Xiling Snow Mountain was great! The 0-degree temperature wasn't too cold, and the kids had a blast. No wonder it's called the warmest snow mountain! Before going, I was hesitant, wondering if it would be as underwhelming as some online reviews suggested, but I genuinely found it very worthwhile. The free snow play area is quite large, feeling even bigger than the paid Panda Paradise. I also recommend going up to Sun and Moon Peak (Riyueping). Children under 13 are free, and adults are 96 yuan each. You might even see squirrels 🐿️ up there. We went up in the afternoon, so it might have been too cold by evening for the squirrels to be out. Those who went in the morning saw them. We were playing in the snow at the entrance, and a guest told us Riyueping was worth taking the kids up to, so we rushed there before leaving in the afternoon. I recommend going around 9 AM when the sun is just out and warm, and you'll have a better chance of seeing squirrels 🐿️.
