3-Star Hotels in Lyon

It is clean and convenient as there are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It is located near the Rhône River, and it is nice that the Old Town across the river is close by.

Staying in this hotel was quite a miserable experience, barely adequate for a hostel, never mind a 3 star establishment. The room (although quite clean) was tiny for our party of two. The luggage occupied almost half of the floor, making us jump over it when we needed to move across the room. The window was facing the railway, which was expected on the one hand, but sleeping with it open was very noisy in the morning. Here is the list of things that were missing compared to a standard hotel experience: - no kettle (had to be asked for) - just two paper/plastic cups in the bathroom, no ceramic mugs in the room - no tea, coffee or anything really to have a snack with - no safe in the room (common one at the reception) - no fridge (seriously?) - no slippers (and they don’t provide them) - no towel heaters or radiators in the room - just 3 towels for two people, no hand towels - no bath robes - no bide or hygienic shower - no toilet brush (are you for real?) - one trash can (without a bag) - extremely small rooms, no adequate space for two luggage bags On the positive side, the breakfast was decent, though nothing to write home about. Hot and protein-rich options were definitely limited. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, upon check-in, I was charged 60EUR as a damage deposit which was not stated when I booked a room. I’m yet to have it returned. The hotel/network drives this alleged “eco-friendly” agenda but in reality it’s just extreme economy and penny-pinching at the guests’ expense. Very disappointing. 1/5.

Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the hotel. In particular, I think its location is probably the best you can get in Lyon for a short stay. I also believe it was a very good choice in terms of price-performance. Of course, you can pay much higher rates to stay at more luxurious hotels, but this one more than meets all the essential needs. The welcome was always warm and friendly. The hotel entrance was very beautiful. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the bed was also excellent and perfectly clean.  I also truly appreciated the hotel’s commitment to reducing plastic use and protecting the environment. It meant a lot to me and made me really happy to see this.  I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

All are good, very local. This hotel was found by the Ctrip customer service manager when I was refused entry because I didn't bring my credit card and was forced to use my credit card as a deposit by the previous hotel. I dragged my suitcase and prepaid on Ctrip while walking. When I got to the store, I was allowed in without even seeing my passport. It is possible that the Ctrip manager called first. The breakfast is not expensive at 8 euros, but there are no hot dishes such as eggs and bacon. The soundproofing of the room is not very good. I don't know why there were many parents with children on each floor that day, but Lyon has many children. The room is also relatively small, basically leaving a walking space between the bed and the table. The bathroom is OK, with a bathtub. The room price is still a little expensive compared to the facilities. The room card key is a bit special.

A small hotel right next to Perrace Station. Access is as easy as possible, by subway, tram or train. From stop to hotel 3-4 minutes walk, but watch carefully the map so that you don't get lost, as it is the station, from it a bunch of exits to different sides. Near the hotel there is a couple of cafes. One of them is sitting in a crowd of young people, the second for people is solid, the French kitchen. The hotel is old, design is probably 20 years old - not less. Close corridors on the floors with rooms. The room is small, essentially the table and bed-if another day is staying overnight - okay, for longer - I don't recommend it, tight. The shower in the bathroom is also tiny, I don't imagine how to wash there to a big man. Breakfast until 10 a.m., poor Swedish table: 3-4 hot snacks for choice - omlet, roasted becon, vegetables; cheese and meat cuts, a little baking. But overall breakfast is enough. Workers speak English, friendly. In general, for its price for 120-130 Euro is not bad, but not wau. The location is excellent, the room is not bad, the hotel itself is a little outdated

I asked the front desk to change the towels and empty the trash, and was told, ”We're not a hotel; apartments typically get a change every 3-5 days.” This policy made me a bit uncomfortable. However, aside from that, the positives really stand out: it's equipped with a microwave, induction hob, coffee machine, and fridge, and most importantly, air conditioning! Considering I suffered from the heat in a previous hotel in the 13th arrondissement, this place was incredibly comfortable. Although it's on the main road by the train station, it was surprisingly quiet, safe, and clean—much better than Frankfurt train station. Plus, the entrance has a key card system; you have to ring the doorbell or use your room card to enter at any time, which provides a great sense of security. The room itself is spacious enough, with a dining table and a desk. All in all, I would consider staying here again.

A great stay with a great price. Fantastic heating, showers and beds are super comfortable. Clean bedding clean rooms. Located in the best Restaurant area of Lyon where the Basilica is viewed closely under lights. Stunning.

Convenient location of the hotel next to the subway station and the railway station. Clean, comfortable. Good breakfast.

The bed is too narrow, I dare not turn over at night. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the subway station, and the surrounding area should be a residential area, very quiet. There are also many small restaurants

Because it is just outside the subway station, it is very convenient! There is also a parking lot underground, allowing direct access to the hotel. When I use it, it just replaces Kyriad and ibis.
