2-Star Hotels in Lyon

The room is large and the location is particularly good. In the old city of Lyon, next to LV. The elevator must go up a corner staircase to the first floor, and the luggage is more cautious. There is no toothbrush slippers or anything in the room. A strange smell, smell of incense and foot odor combined. I turned on the air conditioner and sprayed my own perfume. I smelled the quilt and the sheets were not there, it may be the smell of Titan. Mind carefully The key is still the old key. However, the front desk service was okay. The things were put in the house before, and I still got it back.

Hotel Vabec is in a fantastic location, right by the river. It's very close to both bus and metro stations, and the surrounding area is quiet and feels very safe. Getting to various attractions and restaurants from the hotel is also incredibly convenient. The rooms are a bit small, but the overall vibe is very cozy. The front desk staff are warm, friendly, and professional. My only minor regret is that there's no mini-fridge in the room, which makes it inconvenient for storing cold food, and there's no kettle either.

The personal space were nice and clean but sometimes the neighbor bed might be disturbing in term of sound and smell. The aie inside were quite warm. Don't know if they open the heater or not. Worth the price but expect the bed when booking it

It was what I had expected. The receptionist in the morning, a young lady , I dont know her name but she was super helpful with my itinerary of the day. Thank you.

I've been going there for over a year whenever I'm in Lyon, but this time we stayed for a week. I didn't like it. First of all, there were hairs and fur on the dishes, and the same in the fridge. It disgusted me, and I had to buy cleaning products myself. I put up a sign asking them to come and clean the room, but no one came. As for the cleaning staff, I know the job; my mother is a cleaner. Some of them, when you ask them to change the towels, send you back to reception, while others give them to you. There were even hairs under the sheets. I'm really disappointed. I think there's been a lack of attention to detail. It wasn't like this at the beginning. It really needs to be addressed. What a shame. The reception was okay.

Great location, 5min walk to the station, there’s a nice restaurant next door as well as a small shop to buy any last minute toiletries or snacks and drinks. The room itself was good, small bathroom but the beds were comfy and it just does the job. Would stay again if I visit Lyon again.

Although the room is very small, it's enough to sleep. I personally feel very warm. But the bathroom is very poor. .... I wrote that there is a hair dryer, but there is no room, so ㅜ staff Friendly and elevator

Old - No issue for me, for spending one night is okay No aircond - With fan, open your windows then problem is solved. Appreciate the receptionist - helpful guy The only negative comment: If you are solo traveller, becareful with the surrounding. Could be dangerous at night. Really surprised to witness an accident.

I really liked it and would recommend it. It's a bit uphill, but the view is worth it. Still, it's very centrally located. I was able to explore everything on foot in my two days. I like that kind of thing, fantastic. 🤩
