Amazing place. I didn't know either Spanish or English but I was covered with so much attention and concern that I didn't feel any problems in communication. The hotel is warm and quiet, homey. I was set up 2 hours earlier. In the room every day was done a wet cleaning. Breakfasts were delicious with natural juice and fresh fruit. In the evening you can eat deliciously at the restaurant. I would like to come back here and feel the attention and care of these people

The hotel is not guilty that the city authorities cannot provide security in the center of the capital. The hotel itself is incredible, very beautiful, very comfortable, incredibly stylish and lovely decorated. Breakfast on the veranda with a beautiful view, the breakfast itself is small but delicious, bread is very soft and fresh. What you need to know is the hotel doors are always closed if you come at night you need to warn you to wait in the hotel as this area of the city is not very safe. My arrival was at 3 nights, I had to ask the taxi driver to stand next to me while I was calling the door and until I was opened if I was left alone to me would be disturbing. The room has a big window and balcony but it also has to keep closed because of security. I understand well that hotel staff are very eager to make you feel safe and comfortable inside but can 't affect the situation outside the hotel

The hotel is located in the Marshal District, surrounded by many restaurants and bars to choose from. The hotel facilities are very old. The size of the double room is relatively small and there is not enough space for luggage. The hotel breakfast is very simple, only bread and coffee. The hygiene of the room is not good. Living here is also far from the main scenic spots, which is not very convenient.

The overall environment is beautiful, the green plants are beautiful, and the service attitude is also very good. It is a hotel worth recommending!

Very comfortable. The room is very spacious, with good views and has everything you may need. The breakfast is very complete and very good. The area is very quiet and the guy at reception very nice. We will repeat.

The facilities at this hotel are somewhat outdated, and the decor feels a bit old-fashioned. It would be great to see some modernization in these areas. That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.

The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for. If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. I would return in a heartbeat!
