Hygienic: The sanitation of the homestay must not be benchmarked against the hotel, but overall it is good. After staying for two days, the room cleaning was done the next day. We traveled as a group of eight, including two young children, three grandparents, and three adults, and every single one of us had an incredible time. Nestled amidst lush tea plantations, the setting is absolutely stunning. Each morning, we woke up to breathtaking sunrises and a serene mist that blanketed the landscape. The house itself is a work of art—crafted entirely of wood and with impeccable aesthetic taste that reflects a deep respect for nature. But as beautiful as the surroundings and accommodations are, the true highlight of our stay was the hospitality of the host. In our three years in China, we have never experienced anything like it. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though we were visiting a dear friend rather than staying in a hotel. Her warmth, generosity, and genuine care made us feel completely at home. The food was exceptional, and we were treated to fresh fruits and tea throughout the day. She showed special care for our children, teaching them (and us!) how to make tea, and even accompanied us on a walk to share her knowledge of the local flora. One day, she surprised us with her hidden talent as a musician, singing traditional Chinese songs while playing the guitar and drums. Her smile and positive energy were infectious, leaving a lasting impression on all of us. This homestay was more than just a place to stay—it was an unforgettable experience filled with beauty, warmth, and cultural connection. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, knowing this was the best place we've ever stayed in China. If you're looking for a place that offers not just comfort but also an extraordinary sense of belonging, this is it. Highly recommended!

Passing by Menghai during the trip, I decided to stay here on the spur of the moment and booked this hotel. The town is not big, and the location is probably on the edge of the city. The transportation is convenient. Parking can only be on the roadside, and there is no parking space of your own. The room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom lighting is not particularly bright, but it is generally OK. The breakfast is simple, boiled eggs, rice noodles, but the taste is OK. The restaurant staff is very polite.

The hotel is located in Shitoulaozhai, Gelanghe Township, Menghai County, near the Nannuo Mountain Bama Village Office. Situated on a mountain, the environment is indeed beautiful; you can see the clouds and mist in the morning and the sunset in the evening. There aren't many guests at the moment, and the hotel is managed by a young, attractive woman. The hotel is quite clean; there's no air conditioning, but there are electric blankets and electric heaters, which are sufficient for heating needs. The temperature is low on the mountain, and it can get quite cold sitting for a long time, but you'll still sweat when you walk around.

The environment of the homestay is very good, in a Dai village, parking is very convenient. The boss is a local Yi nationality. He will take you to see the tea tree king, see the tea garden, walk the mountain, and feel full of experience. Friends who like nature and quiet vacation should not miss it. The boss also has his own tea mountain, self-produced tea, come to taste tea is very good, very leisurely, the room is clean and neat, the layout is reasonable, the supplies are complete, Come and pick tea before spring next year.

It is a tea garden, the environment is really good, and the service is very good. Don't try 😅 for the second half of the road up the mountain. Because there is a long walk down the ladder, the boss specially installed an elevator to run the plum for convenience. Hidden in the city, the city is tired, it is very good to come and live for a few days, because it has just opened, some facilities may not be too perfect, the room in the independent building is not very soundproof, you can hear the voice of the next door neighbor and the snoring sound, water sound and other sounds 😅😂🤣.
