"The decor is pretty basic, bordering on a bit rundown. The bathroom fan was broken, and part of the curtains were too. There was only one pillow on the bed, which I rarely encounter! Out of the row of hotels in Shahe Town, this one is just about average."

"Although it's officially a 4-star, it pretty much meets 5-star standards. When I stayed, it was practically empty, so they upgraded me directly to the best king-size room. Even though I'm not a member, I still received complimentary welcome fruit. Facilities: Most things were okay, but because it's so remote, the occupancy rate is likely low, so the maintenance is pretty average. The outdoor pool is beautiful, but the indoor gym and pool are just so-so. The hotel is located in a local resort area and even has hot springs to visit, which was quite a pleasant surprise. Dining: The food was relatively good, comparable to other 5-star hotels in Xishuangbanna. However, some dishes clearly fell a bit short, but I could accept it since I knew it wasn't a true 5-star to begin with."

There's an elevator. Check-in was quick and efficient. The lighting is bright. The breakfast buffet offers unlimited servings, and the restaurant staff are very helpful. There's a good variety of options, including fried rice, stir-fried dishes, rice noodles, and fruit."

"Absolutely incredible! The staff was very welcoming, even though we had a language barrier we still had long conversations through translation apps and we attended all of the activities. We had nice food, went on mountain walks and drank a lot of tea! The design of the hotel is very authentic, they've incorporated traditional elements into a modern hotel. The level of the service was outstanding If you like tea, this is the hotel for you as the tea masters are very knowledgeable and always eager to share their experience and drink some really good tea with you!"
