"Facilities: It is a newly opened hotel, which gave me a great surprise. The room is much larger than the photo. It is very convenient to wash and dry clothes, especially since we just came back from the rainforest. We are very happy to be able to wash even wet clothes. The TV is super big. ! ! ! Hygiene: clean, tidy, bright, and free disposable toilet covers. This is what touched me very much! ! ! Environment: Along the Liusha River, there is a small garden downstairs, and there is a corridor outside the room. It is relatively out of place. The Starlight Night Market outside is a bit superfluous, but it is still relatively quiet. There is basically no noise when the balcony door is closed. Menghai is a good place. The hotel is very conveniently located away from the main urban area of Menghai County. It is very convenient to eat! Parking can be done underground, safe and convenient"

"Although it's officially a 4-star, it pretty much meets 5-star standards. When I stayed, it was practically empty, so they upgraded me directly to the best king-size room. Even though I'm not a member, I still received complimentary welcome fruit. Facilities: Most things were okay, but because it's so remote, the occupancy rate is likely low, so the maintenance is pretty average. The outdoor pool is beautiful, but the indoor gym and pool are just so-so. The hotel is located in a local resort area and even has hot springs to visit, which was quite a pleasant surprise. Dining: The food was relatively good, comparable to other 5-star hotels in Xishuangbanna. However, some dishes clearly fell a bit short, but I could accept it since I knew it wasn't a true 5-star to begin with."

"Absolutely incredible! The staff was very welcoming, even though we had a language barrier we still had long conversations through translation apps and we attended all of the activities. We had nice food, went on mountain walks and drank a lot of tea! The design of the hotel is very authentic, they've incorporated traditional elements into a modern hotel. The level of the service was outstanding If you like tea, this is the hotel for you as the tea masters are very knowledgeable and always eager to share their experience and drink some really good tea with you!"

The rooms are decorated in a simple yet sophisticated modern Chinese style, with meticulous attention to detail evident in every clean aspect. The bedding is incredibly soft, and even the teaware is printed with "Lao Ban Zhang No. 17." Brewing a pot of local tea in the room, listening to the mountain breeze, is pure bliss. The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming. They'll tell you the stories of Lao Ban Zhang, take you on a tour of the tea mountains, and let you taste authentic tea. Rather than a rushed visit, staying here for a few nights truly allows you to appreciate the slow pace and beauty of Lao Ban Zhang. Next time I come, I'll definitely stay here again!"
