Because we were unfamiliar with the location and local road conditions, we arrived at the mountain lodge after 8 pm. The owner personally came out to greet us and, knowing we hadn't eaten yet, immediately cooked a meal. After dinner, he treated us to tea and shared his knowledge about tea. The next day, he even took us to visit the Heshan Ancient Tree Tea Garden. It turned out the owner was the owner of ”Auntie's Tea House,” and had been making tea for decades. The tea plantation is located in the Bulang Mountains at 21 degrees north latitude, just like Lao Ban Zhang, but it's not well-known due to insufficient promotion. The purple bud white tea we tasted that evening was pure and clear in color, smooth on the palate, with a sweet aftertaste, and a subtle tea aroma. It was also very easy to brew—a truly wonderful experience!

The hotel was clean and comfortable (almost too comfortable, we had trouble waking up), close to the bus station (5 minutes) and the market (10 minutes max). The manager and his son are super friendly. What more could you ask for? It's perfect for visiting the city. Bring a phone number; you'll be asked for it at check-in.

GGuest UserI have lived in so many hotels, this one really makes people feel at home. As soon as I entered the door, I was attracted by the tea cultural elements in the atmospheric lobby. The staff took the initiative to receive guidance, check-in was efficient, and the service was warm and thoughtful. The rooms are warmly furnished, the facilities are all available, the beds are moderately soft and hard, the bathroom layout is simple and clean, the bath water is large, and the fatigue of the whole day is relaxed. The well-known chain brand mattresses used by the hotel are really good, and I sleep until dawn. There is a food street nearby, especially the local specialty snacks nearby, which tastes very special. The price is super high, completely exceeding expectations, and I will choose here for future travel!

The boss is very nice. He sings to entertain the guests and explains the culture of Yunnan's ethnic minorities. The sister who helps is from the Aini ethnic group. The boss enthusiastically shows the way to the Tea King Tree, which saves one kilometer of distance, even when there are few people. You may also be able to enjoy the barbecue grilled by the boss himself. Hahahaha, a very happy homestay experience!
