The location is great; parking is available for those driving, and a security guard will assist. It's about 900 meters from the museum, easily walkable. Getting to Kuqa Old Town and the Prince's Palace by taxi is only 2-3 kilometers, very convenient. There's also a night market nearby. The room was clean, bright, and tidy, and breakfast was provided, which was great. I really like Kuqa; there are plenty of things to do and eat, and it's not too crowded with tourists.

I booked two different room types for the same price, and the hotel later combined them for me. The hotel has a great location and nice decor. Besides complaining about the breakfast in another review, I'd also like to complain about the late cleaning for extended stays. It felt like they wouldn't replace the bathroom supplies unless I urged them... Kuqa is a great place, more fun than Kashgar. The nearby Kuqa Palace, Kuqa Grand Mosque, Khezil Thousand Buddha Caves, beacon towers, and ancient temple ruins are all worth visiting to experience the impact of East-West exchange and the transition between Buddhism and Islam.

The hotel is grand, and the rooms are quite spacious. I have two suggestions, hoping Vienna Hotels can improve its competitiveness in the budget hotel sector, so HUAZHU isn't the only dominant player: the pillows are too soft and uncomfortable; perhaps learn from Hanting 3.5. Also, it's supposed to be a 2 PM check-out, but after 12 PM, you have to get your room card reissued, which isn't very user-friendly. Finally, the restaurant staff's attitude was stiff.
