2-Star Hotels in Kuqa

Sorry, I'm too busy to comment. I've been thinking about giving you a good review. I traveled to Xinjiang more than ten days ago and stayed one night in Kuqa and chose this B&B. As soon as we entered the courtyard, the young lady was very enthusiastic. She cut a watermelon for us and introduced us a lot about Kuqa. She also recommended a nearby restaurant for dining. The roasted whole lamb was indeed delicious and cost-effective. I was very satisfied. After eating, you can take a walk along the river and go to the night market on Restan Street. You can also see the Kuche folk song final that day. The B&B was renovated from an old Uyghur dwelling, so it has its own style, and the small courtyard is fragrant with melons and fruits. Although it has been renovated, public facilities such as pipes are still a bit old, so when using the toilet, you need to be careful not to throw paper directly into it.

The owner was very enthusiastic and greeted us at the door. Although there was a small hiccup, he still helped to solve the problem later. The wireless network really let us down. The wifi did not work well and was really reliable. The layout of the room was very friendly. There is a Sichuan restaurant next to it, which was pretty good.

Parking downstairs is quite convenient, with plenty of parking spaces. The room is very clean and feels newly renovated with complete facilities and a good environment. The Uyghur girl at the front desk provided great service. Kuqa Old Town is also nice.

The decoration is attentive, the service is thoughtful, and Gaode navigation enters the alley (it is recommended to consult the owner before navigation, we did not consult in advance.) The owner's little baby personally took it to the parking lot next to the entrance of the store to find a parking space, presented mineral water and drinks, and enthusiastically guided us to the direction of Huamao Lane, like it! ! !

The room was clean and tidy, exceptionally well-maintained, and the service was excellent, with staff readily available to assist. It's very close to the scenic area, and the breakfast was delicious and nutritious. There's a self-service laundry area, which is very convenient. It's even better than a large hotel; highly recommended for groups.

The room is relatively large, we stayed for 2 nights, take a taxi to Kuche Temple, Kuche Wangfu and other attractions are more convenient, the cost can also be (about 12--15 yuan), eating around can also be, mainly the breakfast provided by the hotel is also suitable for the taste of our elderly, we like it more, the staff is more enthusiastic, The cleaning staff is very serious. There are 2 bottles of pure water every day. The price is close to the people. It is suitable for our self-driving parking. I recommend friends to stay at this hotel.

This hotel can accept foreigners. It is around 1km from Kuqa railway station which is walkable. I arrived very early (6AM). I took forever for check-in because the reception had minimal experience with foreign guests and asked too many (repetitive) questions. She inspected the passport even more thoroughly than the police in Kuqa that I encountered. She asked about the stamps of other countries as well (not sure why and what it has got to do with the hotel check-in). I had a previous Chinese visa which I repetitively said it was old and pointed to the new one, but she kept coming back to it and asking for more info again and again. After almost 30 mins, I was able to come to the room, still the reception came knocking 2 more times for more questions. The second time I had to politely gave a sign that I wanted to sleep for a bit because I had sightseeing to do a couple hours later. I don’t know if this is protocol for Kuqa. So far the most ‘questioning’ hotel which I only expected to happen in Hotan. I negotitated to check in early because I would check out very early the next day (4.30AM) to board the train to Kashgar. It took a while to negotiate but it was possible in the end. Clealiness is so so, not the best but acceptable. It was not a memorable stay but the room will suffice your comfort. Just wish the check-in process would be faster and simpler. 100rmb deposit at check-in which will be refund at check-out.

The wash basin in the bathroom had some hair mixed with shower gel, which was disgusting. I just saw it being flushed, otherwise I would definitely check out. I wanted to wash some clothes, but there was no laundry detergent or powder. I went to the front desk, but there was none. I walked to a few small supermarkets nearby, but there was none either. The front desk didn't even offer to help me find out if there was any other place. I don't recommend it anyway.

Very reliable and secure compound. Situated on the 9th and 10th floors of the Super 8 hotel, this hostel is quite quiet and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and the interior was frequently patrolled by security. The only notable factor for prospective tourists was that the. domestic guests in the male room were quite rough. A lot of inside smoking and loudness.
