It is a 3-minute walk from the Hsinchu Railway Station and within an 8-minute stroll to the City God Temple Night Market. If you enjoy being where the action is, this is it. Value for Money: For a budget-friendly price (often around $25–$30 USD), you get a surprisingly spacious room. Unlike many modern ”shoebox” hotels, these rooms have plenty of floor space. Breakfast Buffet: Many guests are pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. It’s a local spread—think braised pork rice (Lu Rou Fan), porridge, and stir-fried vegetables—alongside basic toast and coffee. Unexpected Perks: Even the budget rooms often come with a bathtub, which is a rare find at this price point. The hotel also offers free use of a washing machine on the first floor. I might stay here again if I were traveling alone. The facilities are a bit old, and it's not really suitable for families, especially since they also offer hourly rates. It reminds me of some of the cheaper hotels I stayed at in Taipei back in the day. The staff, however, all seemed very kind.

The room is simple and clean, but the tables and chairs in the room are old and the bathroom is small. The breakfast has fewer types and is replenished quickly. Parking is inconvenient. The parking lot downstairs is a bit scary. It is more convenient to cooperate with the market parking lot.

The location is close to the train station, and there are good ice cream shops and vermicelli noodles nearby. However, the sound insulation of the hotel is poor, and the air conditioning tends to be too cold. One night, I woke up to a strange smell, like cooking fumes, filling the room. They do provide disposable face towels, and the hotel staff were quite nice.

This stay was a great experience. There is a large bathtub where you can take a bath together, and the bed and sofa are both large and comfortable. The most important thing is that the floor is carpeted which is a plus ❤️! The breakfast counter will ask us to choose one first and hang it at our door the next morning, which is very considerate!
