RosaMaryThe ancient town of Heshun is absolutely gorgeous, and we stayed at Leyin Inn, which has received zero negative reviews.
Leyin Inn has a superb location, right next to the Wanlouzi Residents' Museum, and right next to Hua Jie's Private Kitchen (opposite Hua Jie's is a small, unassuming shop run by elderly folks serving incredibly delicious home-style dishes). The innkeeper sent someone to pick us up and take us into the ancient town for free. After we bought tickets with our ID cards (valid for seven days, which was a great deal since I bought my boat tickets at the same time), they drove us all the way to the hotel parking lot. Keep in mind that Heshun Ancient Town has many ups and downs, and the ground is paved with bricks, making it difficult to push luggage around. The innkeeper kindly helped us with our luggage.
We booked a private hot spring room, which was great value for money. The original hot spring water from Rehai was brought over, and we told the innkeeper they would come and fill it with water.
Our child and the other children staying at the inn had a great time. We only booked one night, and they even gave us a free ride to the bus station. The service was truly excellent. We'll definitely stay at Leyin Inn again next time we visit Heshun Ancient Town.

Guest UserThis hot spring B&B surprised me. The hot spring bath in the room is very comfortable, the environment is clean and sanitary, the hot spring town is far away from the hustle and bustle, the location is easy to find, and parking is convenient. The rooms are warm and comfortable, full of local characteristics, and the hot spring is truly a hot spring town. The water temperature is suitable, the environment is beautiful, and the service is attentive. It is the best place to relax your body and mind here and it is the best place to rest during the trip. Highly recommended!

Guest UserThe most satisfying two nights in Yunnan, I am more used to staying in hotels, but Fengli B&B is indeed the right choice!
Location: The taxi positioning is accurate. Behind the official hotel, there is a very quiet homestay area, and takeaways can be delivered.
Environment: clean, warm, emotional, willing to work hard in the details, sincerity is the boss's hospitality, every time I meet, I will greet you warmly ~
Facilities: The twin room has a large space, the bedding is super comfortable, the pillows kill most hotels in seconds, the central air-conditioning + wall-mounted air-conditioning, and the toiletries are dreamed back to college time in one second. Weight scales, sewing boxes, nail clippers, floss, masks, earplugs, etc. are available! There are two washing machines and one dryer in the common area, which can be used by self-service.
Service: Drinking water, soda, snacks, fruit are all provided free of charge. Breakfast is served in the small restaurant with sour seeds and sugar. There are freshly cooked bait silk and rice noodles. The coffee is delicious! Please ask the boss to arrange a car drop-off in advance, and received a warm souvenir on the day of departure.~
Because the itinerary is tight, we basically leave early and return late, and we have not been able to experience the slow life of the homestay, but it does not affect my determination to strongly recommend Fengli!

Yoo agWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner and his wife are extremely kind and welcoming. They brought us to many beautiful places and spent time showing us around and even playing with us, which made our trip very special.
The hotel offers great value with a high standard. Everything is clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
One of the most special things about this place is the onsen (hot spring). The water comes from a real natural hot spring, which makes the experience very authentic and relaxing.
We truly appreciate the warm hospitality from the owner and his wife. They even promised to come visit us in the future, which shows how genuine and friendly they are. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality stay with wonderful hosts and a real hot spring experience.

Guest UserI usually don’t write reviews, but this place was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Tengchong.
The location is absolutely beautiful. It’s tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by greenery and open fields, so it feels peaceful and secluded without being too far from the main attractions. Waking up to misty mountain views every morning was such a treat.
The biggest reason I booked this place was the private hot spring, and it did not disappoint. The hot spring water comes directly from Rehai and is available 24/7. Having a private soaking pool in the courtyard was amazing—completely private, quiet, and perfect after a long day of exploring. After visiting Rehai and the surrounding attractions, soaking in the warm mineral water felt incredibly relaxing. My muscles felt less sore, and I slept so well afterward.
The room itself was spotless and very comfortable. The bed was soft, the bathroom was modern and well-maintained, and even the toiletries felt high quality. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared.
What really stood out was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with fresh local fruit, and they took the time to explain how to use the hot spring and recommend places to visit nearby. They were always quick to help whenever we had questions.
Breakfast here was delicious, with local Tengchong specialties like freshly cooked rice noodles and eggs. There’s also a nice spot to grab coffee and relax around the property.
Whether you’re visiting as a couple, with family, or bringing your parents for a relaxing wellness getaway, I would definitely recommend this place. If I ever return to Tengchong, I’d stay here again without hesitation.

Guest UserI just want to say this hotel is amazing! 👍 The house is decorated in a rustic style, with lots of flowers and plants in the courtyard, and fish kept there. Many details were carefully considered. The rooms are decorated with many vintage items, including some of the owner's personal collections, exuding charm and culture. It's clear the owner is a discerning and cultured person. The rooms have underfloor heating, and each room has a private hot spring bath, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing soak right in your room – convenient and hygienic. Zhu Zhu, who greeted us, provided exceptional service. From the moment we booked, she proactively contacted me, introducing attractions, recommending itineraries, and arranging transportation. The room was thoughtfully furnished with tea, fruit, and eye masks – so warm and welcoming. She even got up early to prepare breakfast for us, showing her kindness and attentiveness. There are so many details worth praising. I really wish I could stay here longer; it's the best hotel I've ever stayed in, both in terms of environment and service. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Tengchong.

Guest UserThe B&B has a beautiful environment, and the room is clean, tidy, and very spacious. The shower, toilet, and vanity are all separate, which is very convenient. They even provide thoughtful touches like eye masks, earplugs, and toothpicks in the room. We booked a room with a private hot spring bath, and it was so comfortable and relaxing to soak after a day out. There were welcome fruits, afternoon tea and coffee, and even bedtime milk in the evenings – just a quick call to the owner and they'd deliver it to our room. The owner always greeted us when we left and returned, making us feel truly at home. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making every guest feel welcome. When we left, the owner even gave us sulfur essential oil soap as a gift and arranged for a pick-up to the airport. We're so grateful! If we ever go back to Tengchong, we'll definitely choose this B&B again and recommend it to our friends.

Guest UserWe booked a twin-bed suite for 6 nights. The room was very clean and spacious. It also had a living room. The facilities were complete and very new. The lady at the front desk was super warm and generous and provided us with a wealth of travel suggestions. The station is located in the center of the city. Traveling is very convenient and fast, and there are many food and shopping places around. Forgot to take a photo, but the pictures from past reviews are very real and completely believable. Breakfast is served at a cooperative restaurant outside, with silk rice noodles, soy milk and fried dough sticks, but it is recommended to go early, otherwise there will be more people in other hotels outside. The only suggestion is that it would be better if the bathroom could be separated from wet and dry areas. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay. The service is very good and the price is very affordable. Highly recommended!

Facilities: The parking lot is large and parking is very convenient. The room decoration is average.
Hygiene: The room is clean, but the dry and wet areas are not separated. The toilet and shower are together, and the toilet area is a bit cramped.
Environment: The whole park is very large and suitable for walking around. The coffee experience center has a lot of self-produced coffee and coffee derivatives, which can be bought.
Service: Breakfast and afternoon tea are good. The staff also invited us to taste hand-brewed coffee, which is better than afternoon tea. There are many coffee-related experience projects in the park, but they are all charged. I didn’t experience any of them.
Afternoon tea: The free afternoon tea has coffee, fruit and dried fruit. The coffee is quite sour, so people who don't like coffee may not be used to it.
The price of the room is about 400 in the off-season, which is a bit low in terms of cost performance. If you deduct the cost of afternoon tea, it will be about 300. You can stay in a 4-star hotel in the city at this price.
So here are some small suggestions to improve the experience of guests:
1. Can you add fruit peel tea to the afternoon tea to give friends who don't drink coffee an additional option?
2. Can you give guests a discount or discount for the experience items?
3. The parking lot is too sunny in summer. It is recommended to build a row of parking sheds on one side to provide shade and reduce the temperature in the car.

Guest UserI originally booked a different courtyard, but the owner upgraded me to a Lotus Pond King Room. The view was great; it would definitely be even more beautiful during lotus blooming season. There's a stylish coffee shop downstairs. Transportation is relatively convenient compared to other guesthouses in the ancient town, located on the west side, accessible by car, though a bit far from the center. The wooden structure of the house isn't very soundproof; there's a small road downstairs where cars pass by, making it a little noisy. The service was excellent; they even picked me up from the visitor center. Coming back in the evening, I enjoyed warming myself by the fireplace downstairs with some black tea – very pleasant. The breakfast was also good. Highly recommended!
