Just got back from Tengchong and I absolutely have to rave about this hotel! It was by far the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my Yunnan trip.
First off, the location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Heshun Ancient Town. Step out, and you're on cobblestone streets with easy access to all the food, drinks, and entertainment you could want.
The rooms are brand new, having just opened in 2024, so all the facilities are incredibly fresh. The Wabi-sabi minimalist decor is both stylish and sophisticated. The bedding was so soft I almost slept through breakfast the next day!
My favorite feature was definitely the in-room bathtub – it just created such an amazing ambiance! And the rooftop terrace is fantastic for photos!
The service was impeccable too. The housekeeper was super attentive and they even offer complimentary airport transfers. The oxygen supply system was a lifesaver for someone like me who experiences altitude sickness; I slept incredibly soundly.
I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Tengchong!

Guest UserThe most satisfying two nights in Yunnan, I am more used to staying in hotels, but Fengli B&B is indeed the right choice!
Location: The taxi positioning is accurate. Behind the official hotel, there is a very quiet homestay area, and takeaways can be delivered.
Environment: clean, warm, emotional, willing to work hard in the details, sincerity is the boss's hospitality, every time I meet, I will greet you warmly ~
Facilities: The twin room has a large space, the bedding is super comfortable, the pillows kill most hotels in seconds, the central air-conditioning + wall-mounted air-conditioning, and the toiletries are dreamed back to college time in one second. Weight scales, sewing boxes, nail clippers, floss, masks, earplugs, etc. are available! There are two washing machines and one dryer in the common area, which can be used by self-service.
Service: Drinking water, soda, snacks, fruit are all provided free of charge. Breakfast is served in the small restaurant with sour seeds and sugar. There are freshly cooked bait silk and rice noodles. The coffee is delicious! Please ask the boss to arrange a car drop-off in advance, and received a warm souvenir on the day of departure.~
Because the itinerary is tight, we basically leave early and return late, and we have not been able to experience the slow life of the homestay, but it does not affect my determination to strongly recommend Fengli!

Yoo agWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner and his wife are extremely kind and welcoming. They brought us to many beautiful places and spent time showing us around and even playing with us, which made our trip very special.
The hotel offers great value with a high standard. Everything is clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
One of the most special things about this place is the onsen (hot spring). The water comes from a real natural hot spring, which makes the experience very authentic and relaxing.
We truly appreciate the warm hospitality from the owner and his wife. They even promised to come visit us in the future, which shows how genuine and friendly they are. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality stay with wonderful hosts and a real hot spring experience.

Nuangui Homestay
I sent emails to Nuangui via trip.com on 24 Nov and 30 Nov to arrange for complimentary pick up. I got no reply to my 2 emails.
I telephoned Nuangui via trip.com on 1 Dec before flying out to TengChong, a lady answered the phone, she insisted she didn't receive my 2 emails, but promised to arrange pick up.
When we arrived in TengChong we were picked up and dropped off at the entrance of HeShun and given a gps map sharing location and told to find our own way to the minsu after eating because their staff/boss refused to meet and greet us at the HeShun entrance. At the time it was around 9.30pm.
Despite the gps map sharing, we spent a long time walking around dark, narrow, quiet streets of HeShun looking for something to eat and then later the minsu location. In the end we couldn't find the minsu. There was no one around to ask for durections and it was quite dark and very cold. By around 11.15pm we finally gave up looking and called the minsu to come and find us and take us to the minsu. They only answered after a few minutes of calling. It was lucky we insisted on calling, we would never have found the minsu by ourselves.
The minsu itself was great, comfortable and clean. The location is convenient (when u know where it is and how to get there).
The minsu staff took our luggage all the way, from the airport to the minsu, which was very helpful, I wouldn't have made it to the minsu if I had to carry my own luggage because a lot of the HsShun streets are uneven, uphill and many steps.
The only hic up was the bath, originally we thought it wasn't working because there was no hot water coming out from the hot water tap. After 3 nights of stay, we later found out that the taps were installed incorrectly, C water tap meant hot water and the other way round.
Also, even though staying in minsu in HeShun, you still have to pay entrance tickets, that wasn't pointed out on the minsu details.

Guest UserI just want to say this hotel is amazing! 👍 The house is decorated in a rustic style, with lots of flowers and plants in the courtyard, and fish kept there. Many details were carefully considered. The rooms are decorated with many vintage items, including some of the owner's personal collections, exuding charm and culture. It's clear the owner is a discerning and cultured person. The rooms have underfloor heating, and each room has a private hot spring bath, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing soak right in your room – convenient and hygienic. Zhu Zhu, who greeted us, provided exceptional service. From the moment we booked, she proactively contacted me, introducing attractions, recommending itineraries, and arranging transportation. The room was thoughtfully furnished with tea, fruit, and eye masks – so warm and welcoming. She even got up early to prepare breakfast for us, showing her kindness and attentiveness. There are so many details worth praising. I really wish I could stay here longer; it's the best hotel I've ever stayed in, both in terms of environment and service. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Tengchong.

Guest UserThe B&B has a beautiful environment, and the room is clean, tidy, and very spacious. The shower, toilet, and vanity are all separate, which is very convenient. They even provide thoughtful touches like eye masks, earplugs, and toothpicks in the room. We booked a room with a private hot spring bath, and it was so comfortable and relaxing to soak after a day out. There were welcome fruits, afternoon tea and coffee, and even bedtime milk in the evenings – just a quick call to the owner and they'd deliver it to our room. The owner always greeted us when we left and returned, making us feel truly at home. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making every guest feel welcome. When we left, the owner even gave us sulfur essential oil soap as a gift and arranged for a pick-up to the airport. We're so grateful! If we ever go back to Tengchong, we'll definitely choose this B&B again and recommend it to our friends.

Guest UserI usually don’t write reviews, but this place was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Tengchong.
The location is absolutely beautiful. It’s tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by greenery and open fields, so it feels peaceful and secluded without being too far from the main attractions. Waking up to misty mountain views every morning was such a treat.
The biggest reason I booked this place was the private hot spring, and it did not disappoint. The hot spring water comes directly from Rehai and is available 24/7. Having a private soaking pool in the courtyard was amazing—completely private, quiet, and perfect after a long day of exploring. After visiting Rehai and the surrounding attractions, soaking in the warm mineral water felt incredibly relaxing. My muscles felt less sore, and I slept so well afterward.
The room itself was spotless and very comfortable. The bed was soft, the bathroom was modern and well-maintained, and even the toiletries felt high quality. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared.
What really stood out was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with fresh local fruit, and they took the time to explain how to use the hot spring and recommend places to visit nearby. They were always quick to help whenever we had questions.
Breakfast here was delicious, with local Tengchong specialties like freshly cooked rice noodles and eggs. There’s also a nice spot to grab coffee and relax around the property.
Whether you’re visiting as a couple, with family, or bringing your parents for a relaxing wellness getaway, I would definitely recommend this place. If I ever return to Tengchong, I’d stay here again without hesitation.

Awesome treasure inn, highly recommended!
The inn I chose for this trip was really pleasantly surprised, I must come and praise it!
First of all, praise the room, the overall decoration is simple and warm, there is no cheap feeling at all. The space is spacious and bright, the lighting is particularly good, the yellow and black collision color lounge chair, clean and tidy bedding, and the mineral water and tea set are carefully prepared, and the details are full. The home appliances facilities are also very complete, air conditioning, TV, WiFi are very powerful, living is particularly comfortable, it is completely home feeling.
What makes me most excited is the terrace on the roof 🌿! The view is absolutely amazing, you can overlook the green mountains and the streets of Xiaocheng, and the green plants on the roof also make the whole space full of vitality. Sitting on the terrace in the evening to blow the air, look at the clouds and clouds, the atmosphere is directly full, whether it is taking pictures or emptying, it is super suitable.
The location of the inn is also very convenient, the surrounding travel and eating are very convenient, quiet in the middle of noisy, will not be disturbed at all. The overall experience is full, the price is super high, I will choose here next time, and I have already recommended it to friends around me!

We booked two rooms. Upon checking in, we found that the toiletries were not complete. The bar soap, comb, toothbrush and shaving kit were missing in one of the rooms. The toilet paper was apparently not topped up and ran out in half a day. One of the towels smelled of cigarette smoke.
Room make-up service needs improvement as well. Although towels were replaced, the beds were not made. Used cups were also not replaced.
Breakfast was buffet-style on the first day. Coffee was not provided. The only beverages provided were milk and coffee berry tea. On the second day, the breakfast was given as a set, not buffet style, even though it was stated on Trip.com that the breakfast is buffet-style. Each of us received a bowl of rice noodles, a hard-boiled egg, a mantou, a piece of corn, a pack of biscuit and a glass of milk. I asked if peanuts can be given as part of the condiments for the rice noodles as there were peanuts on the first day. The response was that peanuts are only given for buffet-style breakfast.

AbubububububuyaoMy time in Heshun Ancient Town was made all the more precious by Pumi Homestay. Located near Bailian Hot Spring, the homestay boasts a large lotus pond at its entrance, with flowing water and birdsong. From the second-floor rooms, the windows offer views of black-tiled roofs and white walls against the backdrop of distant mountains, creating a tranquil and elegant atmosphere, like stepping into a paradise.
The service was impeccable, with attentive care throughout from check-in to check-out. Special praise goes to Sister Qian at the front desk, who not only patiently explained the town's sightseeing guide but also proactively recommended local delicacies; her meticulous attention to detail made me feel incredibly warm. The rooms were clean and tidy, fully equipped, and thoughtfully designed. Every day here was comfortable and pleasant; I will definitely choose this place again next time I visit Heshun!
