This stay was fantastic and I highly recommend it to everyone! Our host, Minsu, was very welcoming and personally picked us up at the Ginkgo intersection. He also gave us plenty of recommendations for nearby attractions. The room was decorated in a simple and sophisticated style, very clean, and comfortable. Their large, high-definition TV was perfect for watching a movie in bed after a bath. The location is also great; Ginkgo King is just a five-minute walk away. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 night. The location was within 5 min walk to central business arena but it was quiet. The hotel was owned by a family with a cat. Our room was at the highest floor where we could see the whole complex of hotel; golden yellow ginko trees, dried golden maize & blessing lanterns hanging around. The room & facilities were clean & tidy. The hot water shower & toilet closet were quite modern & beyond our expectation. Should give much credits to them. The owner actively arranged a trip for us @0900 to a mountain to see the mist dissipating in sunlight. Quite amazing. We enjoyed 2 dinners @the hotel; the ginko chicken soup was so good. The hotel would always be our priority option.

The guesthouse was very clean, the rooms were spacious, and I had a very comfortable stay. The courtyard was lovely with flowers and plants, and you could take walks nearby. With its distant mountains, nearby trees, and the interplay of sunlight and clouds, nature lovers would want to stay for several days. The owner and his family were very friendly, and the wife's cooking was excellent. Baihualing is a birdwatching paradise, and I will definitely come back this winter to see the birds.

At this time, the boss and the wife changed their words and said that it would only be delivered after five days of stay. In fact, I did not ask for the room to be delivered to the station during the whole process. I mentioned the verbal agreement, but the landlady looked unhappy as if I had made an unreasonable request. Since the road was not easy to walk, it was difficult to lift the luggage, so I asked the boss to help take the luggage to the taxi point of Anning Kindergarten, but the boss took it away. The luggage was put in another place right next to here and I was told to pick it up. Since I was not familiar with the route and was afraid of delaying the time to catch the bus, I asked the hotel to help guide me to pick it up. Once again, the landlady became impatient and said how about the upgraded room. , the upgrade is not what I asked for, okay? Let me talk about the room again. The bed is more comfortable to sleep on, but the next day I found small ants on the bed. I asked the boss to spray some medicine. This was definitely the most comfortable hostel I've stayed at in Tengchong so far. The hostel environment was great, and seeing the clouds and red houses in the distance every day put me in a good mood. The room had a private bathroom, which was a pleasant surprise. The owner even treated us to homemade steamed buns and peaches from their own yard, which we appreciated. The only downside was having a really strange roommate. She thought it was cold in Tengchong and insisted on leaving the bathroom heater and exhaust fan on, sleeping with the door open. Most importantly, she didn't turn off the lights or even close the curtains at night. As someone with sensitive sleep and a light sleeper, I can understand my frustration. Thankfully, I only had to endure it for one night. When it got too hot to sleep, I turned on the air conditioning. I don't understand why she thought it was cold and just covered herself with a blanket. In this weather, how could I feel cold with the soft, comfortable blankets in the hostel? This unpleasant experience reminded me of my dorm experiences when I was in school, but thankfully it was just a problem during my trip. The hostel was great, and I would definitely choose it again if I had the chance to come to Tengchong.
