"Perfekter Aufenthalt mit Seeblick – 3 Nächte wie eine Woche Urlaub
Wir waren vom 15.–18. April 2026 im Hotel Geranio au Lac und können nur sagen: ein absoluter Volltreffer!
Unser Zimmer im 6. Stock war wunderschön – mit einer Aussicht, die man am liebsten einrahmen würde. Die Zimmernummer behalten wir allerdings für uns… sonst ist es beim nächsten Mal garantiert ausgebucht 😉. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch die Sauberkeit – wirklich TOP, hier gibt es absolut nichts zu beanstanden.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war tadellos: immer frisch, liebevoll präsentiert und es wurde laufend nachgelegt – so macht der Start in den Tag richtig Freude. Besonders begeistert hat uns die 24/7-Kaffeemaschine. Ein Kaffee um 06:30 Uhr, ganz ohne auf die Frühstücksöffnung warten zu müssen? Genau unser Stil!
Die Freundlichkeit an der Rezeption sowie im Frühstücksraum war durchgehend top – man fühlt sich einfach willkommen. Auch unser Hund war herzlich willkommen, und CHF 19.– pro Tag finden wir absolut fair.
Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: das nahegelegene Parkhaus mit Sonderkonditionen – unkompliziert und praktisch.
Wenn man überhaupt etwas kritisieren möchte (man muss wirklich suchen), dann sind es zwei kleine Punkte:
Das Ausladen vom Reisegepäck direkt vor dem Hotel ist etwas umständlich, da es kaum Haltemöglichkeiten gibt – hier ist etwas Koordination gefragt.
Im sommer könnte es aufgrund der vielen Restaurants und Bars in der Umgebung etwas lebhafter werden – wobei genau das natürlich auch seinen Charme hat.
Fazit: Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder – vielleicht sogar wieder ins „geheime“ Zimmer im 6. Stock"

YYUWENTransportation: Don’t follow Google Maps when you come out of the train station (it’s not very useful in southern Switzerland, so it’s not allowed). It took me half an hour to drag the big suitcase and walked several sections of gravel roads to the hotel. , Just walk along the shopping street to the street near the hotel and then turn right. This road box is also easy to tow, the road is wide, flat, the slope is not steep, and it doesn’t feel creepy at night, see Figure 1. I tried it and dragged the big box for exactly 12 minutes, which is equivalent to 1 kilometer. When I arrived at the hotel after dark and held the navigation, I couldn't point to the hotel. The reason I couldn't find it was because there was no one at night, so I called the wall phone and waited for someone to come and go through the procedures. The old lady's English is very reluctant, but there is no problem with the check-in communication. She helped me pull the big box up to the second floor and carried it to the luggage rack. When I checked out, no one took care of it. The keys were left for cleaning, so she didn't know to help. Watching me go downstairs holding the big box. The hotel is beautiful. It’s very convenient to go shopping and eat. It happened to be a carnival, and there was loud music on the corner of the street until the next morning, the old lady gave earplugs in advance, not necessarily that it was impossible to sleep. The last picture is for the guest. The old lady in the picture on the wall speaks Italian, German, French, but not English. She said that she can be punched on the card and the other who speaks English but when checking out (no one at the reception desk in the morning) beat her I couldn't answer the phone, and I had to trouble the old lady in front. So you can live if you don't have much need, and it will be difficult if you have a lot of questions to ask.
