2-Star Hotels in Nagano City

Our stay at Shukubo Gokui was incredible. So much history and spirit, and although we spoke very little Japanese we were greeted warmly by the family. Every breakfast and dinner served was so thoughtfully presented and delicious. The onsite bath is very clean and almost like a private onsen. The room was warm and comfortable, and it was magical to be in the space with the winter snow piling outside. The location cannot be any better, very near the beautiful Chusha Shrine, on the path to the other shrines in Togakushi, within walking distance to the town Onsen and ski resort, and probably one of the closest lodgings to the bus stop. The original structure is from 1815 with thoughtful updates to make the space comfortable and warm. That foreigners and visitors are allowed to stay at Shokubo Gokui that has been so thoughtfully cared for by the family for years is incredibly special, an experience we will remember for a long time. I hope we can return again.

In order to go to the Huyin Shrine to choose this one night, the hotel is near the China Society. Although the hotel facilities are general but very clean, the dinner is a noodles banquet. The taste is very good and completely exceeds the expectations of a small hotel. The breakfast is simple (see Figures 2, 3, 4,), but the taste is also very good. Recommended

We used the hot springs late at night, but they were very accommodating, even at such a late hour! Since I live in the city, Yakimochiya was the first place I'd ever seen a Milky Way-like nebula with my bare eyes, and all my friends and I were blown away! (You can even see the nebula faintly in photos taken with an amateur smartphone camera!)On the way to Yakimochiya, I saw a sign for Yamauba, so I assumed the area had a Yamauba legend.However, there was a book about the land and the Yamauba legend in our room, which really showed their dedication to local legends and culture.As someone who loves folklore, I was deeply impressed. On our way back, a horsefly got into our car and we were in a complete panic, but the wonderful staff member with their incredible insight found the fly and drove it away with an electric racket, which I was incredibly grateful for. They really helped us out. I don't usually write reviews, but I decided to write one because it was such a wonderful inn. I'd love to visit again. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend some relaxing time deep in the quiet mountains and see a starry sky like the ones you see in picture books! Thank you so much!

It is very close to JR Nagano Station, and it is easy to find with the navigation. The staff are very friendly. Although they don't have Chinese, they can communicate in English without barriers. They also told me how to get to M-wave. Even if you can't check in early, you can store your luggage and help deliver to the room you will prepare afterwards. Drink from the beverage machine in the lobby, thank you, uncle, for teaching me how to use it (laughs). If I booked a room without breakfast, I still gave a breakfast voucher. It is a specialty soba, delicious~ In order to log in worldista Qianqiuchang, it is the first time to brush a new copy of Japan. Nagano was the first stop of the dungeon, and the various friendliness received dispelled the tension in his heart.

1) Location: Get off at Zhongshe and walk about 3-400 meters. You can reach it in a straight line. 2) Hotel: Decorated in the 1980s-1990s, there is no heating in the corridor, but there is heating in the room, and the temperature is suitable. There is no bathing in the hotel. The hot spring is in a large covered tub. There is no heating in the shower room and toilet. 3) Meals: You can order them at the hotel. The boss’s skills are pretty good and delicious, but not very cheap. [Five-star recommendation] Try to avoid bringing a trolley suitcase in winter. The road is too difficult to walk. It is uphill to get to the hotel. I arrived at night and fell a few times. It was too painful.

This hotel, 'Ikoi no Mura,' offers basic services, but I was drawn to its large public bath and half-board plan (dinner and breakfast included). While it mainly caters to families with small children, adults can also have plenty of fun with 30 minutes of free karaoke and free table tennis. It's highly recommended, especially for those looking to save on accommodation costs or families wanting a relaxed stay!

I was worried about the declining birthrate and the smell of cigarettes. The location was good by car, and the dining room, which was a 10-minute walk away, was full of local feelings, and it was great to be open without any goodwill. Katsudon is delicious and super reasonable. It is recommended.

This is a truly authentic experience! Cosy, with traditional furniture and bed, whilst still offering very comfortable options it's the best of both worlds. Plus, the view is among the best in town and the breakfast is authentic and charming. It was a beautiful experience to say here and the fact the hosts did not speak English actually added to the experience. I'd be sure to visit again next time I'm in Nagano.
