Kkifteh97Amazing experience in this ryokan! Felt very warmly welcomed by the owner who would come out to send us off or receive us when we entered or exited. Also received a welcome cake from him! Rooms were comfortable and the private onsen experience was really luxurious. Easy drive out to see the attractions we wanted to in Hakone.

GGuest UserWe got a room at the same floor as the entrance, which is very convenient as we donât need to carry our luggages down the staircase. We also enjoyed the onsen. The room is very traditional, is something different from the modern hotel. Yukata was provided also. Recommended to stay there.

The room was a decent size and clean,though very cold if you turned the aircon off.The gentlemen at the front of house was a joy,very witty and so helpful,planned our route to the airport for us.

*The guest villa was nice, clean, and comfortable.* We had a small issue at check-in though. The check-in email only came in at 4:30 PM, but we arrived at 3:00 PM. Plus our room was changed from 201 to 101, so the code we got didnât work. Luckily the staff was there when we arrived and helped us check into the new room quickly. *Facilities:* Washing machine is paid - 6kg for 400 Yen. Dryer is 100 Yen for 30 mins but clothes donât get fully dry, so we still had to hang them out. The drying area is small but clean enough. Bathroom was clean too and overall facilities are good. I love the shower, Handheld shower head *Location:* Great spot, close to the station and a 7-Eleven convenience store. So sorry, I forgot take photos. Beds are comfortable, tpp

Nestled in a peaceful corner of Mt. Hakone, yet conveniently connected by bus, only a 5-10 mins walk. This charming little hotel offered an unforgettable immersion into Japanese culture, complete with tatami-matted floor, soft futon bedding and soothing onsen. With it's effortless check in and out, it's perfect for travelers seeking tranquility and authenticity without sacrificing to much convenience. Pros: If you plan to visit the Hakone pirate ship and the Hakone ropeway at Togendai, it will give you an early start because it's only 11 minutes by bus. Con: To get to the hotel you will need to go up a little hill, not too hard, but if you have a lot of luggage it could be a bit of a challenge (But it's an easy walk back to the bus stop) Be mindful of the bus time getting to the hotel as the bus tends to end around 5:00 p.m. Also, there aren't any places to eat near the hotel, so you may need to take food with you, order breakfast with the hotel or buy some snacks and instant noodles from the hotel shop.

GGuest UserA nice cozy home right near the main train station. Easy access to transportation and right in the heart of the town. The house had many beds to choose from and good separation of rooms. A stocked kitchen and laundry machine was a bonus. The only slight bother was that the space in front of the toilet was very narrow and it was slightly uncomfortable to be on the toilet. Also there are cockroaches that come in at night, but this is fairly normal in Japan. The walk up to the house consists of many stairs and is not suitable for persons with handicaps/mobility issues.

TTerryJGood location for a view of Mount Fuji, unfortunately it was cloudy during our visit and the mountain hid away. Lots of good walks, extremely quiet and self catering is a must. đ
