2-Star Hotels in Munich

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all my questions patiently despite my limited English – five-star service for that! The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to both the subway and train stations. The room itself was quite spacious, with a desk and a fan over the bed. I was very satisfied with my stay overall!

Service: The front desk staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English, making communication a breeze. Facilities: The building has two elevators, which was really convenient for carrying luggage. The soundproofing on the room windows was great; even with lots of people watching the World Cup outside, it was quiet once the windows were closed. Environment: It's located in a large park-like area, which seems to be a business park with many young professionals. There are plenty of snack stalls and fast-food options, making it very convenient. It's easy to find from the East Railway Station; just take the overhead bridge and follow your navigation. Hygiene: Overall, it was very clean. The only minor issue was that the en-suite bathroom tended to accumulate a bit of water, and there was a raised step, but it wasn't a big deal. The cleaning staff were very diligent and cleaned the room thoroughly every day.

We like the welcome drinks and good atmosphere for youth. There is lift to every floor including street level to ground floor. The 4You Hostel is behind us towards the right. There is bicycle rental nearby which we may use if it was not snowing. Usual hostel with shared bathroom. We had good warm shower.

I chose this hotel for the opera; it's just across the street, and Van Cleef & Arpels and Hermès are right next door. For sightseeing, the Royal Palace is next to the opera house, and Piazza Marienplatz is a 10-minute walk away. From the airport, you can take the metro directly to Piazza Marienplatz. It's also just steps from the famous Hofbräuhaus (Breast Museum of Ancient Paintings). In short, it's very convenient. The hotel is small, and the rooms aren't large either, but they are elegant and clean. The beds are exceptionally soft, and there's a TV, mini-fridge, and safe. The hotel is also self-service without a front desk, so you can stay without staff (although I did see some). I opened the door using my phone, which was a first for me. When checking out, a staff member kindly asked if I wanted to extend my check-out time. Overall, it was great, and I hope to stay here again next time. The room was big, it has a fan and a small balcony with window that you can opened so it helps though the room has no AC and it is summer but cool at night. Our room also has double bed plus 1 bunkbed. The room can be easily occupied for 4 guests if needed. The location is not too far from München HBF, we walked around 15 minutes to Flixbus stop near HBF and the area is safe. The hotel staff ladies in the reception area during our check out date were very kind and helpful. We also get help to store our luggage in the hotel even after checked out. The hotel has a nice lobby area where you can buy drinks or snacks from vending machine. Overall, it was a satisfying stay for us and we surely come back staying here next time. 🌟 Best Value for Solo Backpackers!This budget-friendly spot is perfect for solo backpackers, offering a clean and safe environment where guests respect house rules so you can get a great night's sleep without chaotic party noise. It is incredibly convenient for transit since all of Munich is within reach using just an Airport-City-Day-Ticket, which covers your airport ride and gives you unlimited city travel for the day. Plus, the breakfast is fantastic for morning energy, and their beers are excellent and well worth the price—highly recommended for a cheap, respectful, and fun stay!

I stayed in this hotel for about four days. I found the neighbourhood had good resources in walking distance. It was easy to walk and get around from here. Convenient for the subway that was only a block and a half away, and the bus/tram that was about three blocks away. After hours, the security door restricts access. Just ask if you are planning to arrive late at night, it is not difficult to return. Bed, AC, electrical, and shower was fine, it was a challenge to find an electrical adapter nearby. The shanpoo/shower gel was nothing special. Staff was friendly and the breakfast looked popular, but I did not try it.

Double bed room is very spacious, bedding is set up, towels also provided if book double room at this hostel. Location is convenient with a tram station and S bahn within 7 minutes walk. Wifi is not very strong. Won't provide cleaning when staying more than one night. It has also a 'sky bar'.

Amazing location (5 minutes away from Marienplatz) and everything within walking distance. MRT also 5 minutes away by foot. The breakfast in the hotel is simple but lovely, with fresh coffee on the table, and teabags too. Old but clean hotel, with a hairdryer on request in the room, and shower gel / shampoo. If anything the hotel room was dated & cold, but there were extra duvets in the cupboard
