2-Star Hotels in Cologne

The price you displayed on the trip has nothing to do with what we paid. I attach the bill, you should stop taking people wrong.

The location is perfect, only few minutes walk from the central station. The staff was also nice and friendly, enough support. And there is dryer available, which was nice. But overall, the room and corridor looks really like a prison or hospital, not at all giving the vibe of holiday stay... Luggage storage was available for free! we can store luggage until 11pm on the day of check out. There was no kitchen. There is locker OUTSIDE the room, which is so weird. We need to use our own padlock to lock the locker but most of them were occupied or not working (broken). Even with the padlock, it could be open easily so I did not use the locker. It seemed there is not enough number of lockers available compared to the number of the rooms and beds, at least lockers that are not broken. There is no curtain no privacy, even is a mixed gender room. It really feeled like a jail or something. The bedside light is too bright so that if one of us turn it on, the whole room could be bright enough, which is ridiculous. Also the sound proof was terrible that we can hear people outside singing, screaming and DJ-ing midnight, even with our windows and curtains closed. The sound of closing the door was so loud and the door seemed half broken. Also we could hear people talking in the corridor. The shower and toilet were also outside the room and they smelled so bad. Did not feel clean.

As a solo female traveler, I chose a place with good access from the station! The staff were kind, and the breakfast bread was delicious. They also have a storage room, so my luggage was kept safe. It's about a 3-minute walk from the World Heritage church! I stayed for two nights and went there every day because it was so close. I had heard about the train situation in Germany beforehand, but the delays were significant, so I was really glad I didn't choose a place far from the airport or station that relied on train travel. Thanks to that, I kept my train usage to a minimum.

Wir hatten eine Unterkunft gesucht für eine Nacht und gefunden. Lage war top und alles hat reibungslos funktioniert. Zu Fuß super zu erreichen die Laxess Arena da das unser Ziel war lag das Schlafwerk perfekt und ist von unserer Seite zu empfehlen. Bei anstehenden Konzert besuchen wie in unserem fall.

Smell of cigarette smoke in the room and in the common areas. A woman in the next room, apparently working in this hotel, who kept talking loudly on the phone, slammed her door, and above all we could hear her coughing every 30 seconds. Windows that let in so much air with lack of heating at night that I caught a cold (yes, I got sick because of it)! So, obviously, I do not recommend this hotel.

One stop from the airport, it is easier to find, but because the plane is late, there is no one at the front desk when it arrives, and you need to check in by yourself. Everyone's messages have to be entered one by one, which is more troublesome!

Overall, it was okay, though it’s not the best hotel imaginable. The location is excellent—it’s a quick and easy walk to the cathedral or the train station. Keep in mind that there is no elevator. There is a narrow staircase, so you’ll have to carry your luggage up to the higher floors. The room is very small; it is genuinely difficult to fit and open two suitcases at the same time. We visited during a very hot spell, so staying in the room without air conditioning was tough. We had to keep the window and doors open to create a cross-breeze. One unpleasant surprise was the complete lack of breakfast; it turned out they had decided not to prepare it due to the heat. However, there was a nice café right across the street. Still, if you just need a place to sleep and the weather isn't too hot, this place works fine.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing – very friendly and helpful. The place was quiet, clean, and had everything I needed. The location was also convenient, close to the airport with restaurants and shops nearby. The only thing to keep in mind is that there’s no fan or AC, so it might get a bit warm during summer, but for me, it was perfect. Overall, a very good experience and I’d definitely recommend it.

The hotel is small, the bed is small, the bathroom is not separated from wet and dry, the ground is full of water after the bath, the room floor is easy to slip, in addition to the price is cheaper, close to the tram station, not very satisfied, but the service is satisfactory

I didn’t see the order without the bathroom at first, and I saw that I couldn’t stand the bathroom outside and changed the room with the bathroom. The bathroom is convenient, but the small water pressure in the pool is shallow, and the water is shallow on the ground. The wet is on a room. The towel was wet before we entered the house, the mildew on the back, the window still no ventilation in the bathroom... The smell could not be lost for a long time, my God! The equipment for bathing is a bathroom cabinet with a sense of time. The door is not very easy to use, and the force is not tight enough, which also causes the bathroom to be wet. There are no slippers, no toiletries, and a hot water bottle in the room. The bed is full of comfort, and the quilt is also the national standard. It is very close to the subway station. It is expensive to take a stop at the Central Railway Station. It takes half an hour to walk. There are many Middle Eastern residents around.
