The most satisfying thing about this trip to Pingyao is Qichen B&B, which must be five-star praise! The hygiene completely exceeded expectations. The room was clean as soon as I entered the door. The bedding and bathroom were spotless. The details were in place. The bed was very large. It could accommodate 4 people. It was quiet and comfortable. There were welcome fruits. The washing machine was very clean. The boss provided laundry detergent. The boss is very kind and caring, communicate in advance the time to the station, take the initiative to drive to pick up, and send the station for free after the game, without tossing your luggage. I will also patiently explain the route of the ancient city, recommend local authentic snacks, and give a complete guide to avoid the pit. I also rode the boss's electric car, The small courtyard is quiet and has a sense of ancient city atmosphere, and there are two cute kittens. The boss also sent a souvenir. The service is intimate and real. The price is full. I will stay here in Pingyao next time!

This hotel is located in a clean alley, just a five-minute walk from the Confucius Temple and the City God Temple. The room was exceptionally clean, the bedding was very comfortable, and the room itself was quite spacious. The courtyard has a charming, ancient feel – tranquil and elegant, and it's also very close to Yingxun Gate. The owner's service was outstanding; after we watched the light show in the evening, they picked us up and brought us back to the hotel, and even provided a ride to Pingyao Ancient City Station. They were incredibly helpful and the owner/driver was very enthusiastic, always trying their best to accommodate any requests we had. I will definitely book here again on my next visit.

This hotel is a protected heritage site, the former residence of a *piaohao* (draft bank) founder, so it retains its original architectural style. The doors and windows, in particular, are incredibly atmospheric, and when the lanterns light up at night, you feel instantly transported back in time. The rooms are super clean, with linens changed after every guest. My elderly parents especially loved the *kang* (heated bed-platform). Coming to Pingyao, you really need to experience this kind of unique accommodation to get the full feel. The owner is incredibly nice; he picked us up from the station and gave us tips on what to do and things to watch out for. It was a delightful trip!

Multi-person travel and stay, the room type is rich, whether it is double or multi-person suite. The accommodation is located in the center of the ancient city, close to the county, and the lively Ming and Qing Old Street is out. The store's service is thoughtful and meticulous, the location is sent in advance, and the city gate is greeted by a special person. The ancient atmosphere of the small courtyard is full of sense, and the free Hanfu is casually worn and photographed. The room is clean and tidy, air-conditioned, independent bathroom is fully equipped, and the store is presented with a gift of vinegar, and the trip is very comfortable.

The guesthouse is a historic building, a two-courtyard siheyuan (traditional courtyard house), located behind the Ma Family Courtyard. We were busy taking photos as soon as we arrived. We stayed in the ”Children's Fun” room. Although it didn't have a separate wet and dry area, we loved its sunny location; seeing the sunlight streaming in in the morning was so vibrant. The owner was a very kind young man. Because we needed to use an old-fashioned lock when leaving the house, preventing others from entering, we asked him to deliver supplies to a small room in the first courtyard, which we picked up ourselves in the evening. The guesthouse originally only offered one pick-up or drop-off service, but the owner offered both, and even helped with our luggage. Very nice! Wishing him booming business!

Very good experience. The owners are friendly and provide pick up at the gate entrance. Pretty courtyard and the owners shared a lot of information on where to eat / shop at. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse to those wanting to visit Pingyao.

A wonderful and very memorable stay. This is a true guesthouse experience, not a polished chain hotel, and that is exactly its charm. The room was large, with plenty of furnishings, a big king bed, and a nice courtyard setting. Sure a few things were slightly old, broken, or not quite perfect, but that simply added to the character and human feel of the place. The mattress was quite firm and I slept very well. What really made this stay special was the family. The mother was incredibly kind and helpful, taking the time to provide a map, sightseeing advice, and an efficient walking route to help me see the key highlights of Pingyao while minimising unnecessary walking. Later I met the son and daughter-in-law, who were both equally warm and friendly, and the son very kindly drove me to the train station the next day, which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was simple but perfectly good, and exactly what was needed before more exploration of the town. This was not luxury accommodation, but it offered something far more memorable, genuine hospitality, kindness, and a personal touch. I would happily stay here again.

We booked two rooms together. The owner helped us with our luggage at the entrance of the old town. Upon entering, he offered us homemade wine and vinegar to try, which we found quite nice. The rooms were nice, with a rest area on the first floor and a sleeping area on the second. I would definitely choose this place again next time I visit.

The host were nice and friendly. They speak no English but they use and app for basic translations. The room is good value for money. Modern and clean, with good architectural finishes. They don't provide towels, shampoo and so. No air conditioner either, thou I asked for a fan and they gave it to me and it was perfect like that. Location wasn't so easy to find, the access road can be either dusty or muddy depending on the weather. It's about 15 minutes walk to the north gate of ancient Pingyao city wall. I would recommend specially to couples as it's the same price as for solo travellers. (I guess the price is per room) They didn't ask for a deposit as written in their policies, which is a plus. I attach a plan explaining how to best get there. Recommended.

It's very close to the ancient city, making it convenient for getting around. The rooms were clean and hygienic, and the food was just what I wanted. The owner even gave us some local specialty red date vinegar as a gift; I highly recommend trying it.
