Guest UserThis hostel boasts an unbeatable location, just a minute or two's walk from the Grindelwald Terminal, making transportation incredibly convenient.
The natural scenery is absolutely stunning. You can gaze upon majestic snow-capped mountains and lush green slopes, a truly magnificent and healing view. The dining area also offers fantastic views, so you can enjoy a beautiful mountain panorama while having breakfast. The breakfast selection is rich and varied, making for a great dining experience.
The overall facilities are new and well-maintained, and the amenities are comprehensive. The hostel has a good number of rooms. On my first day, I arrived quite late, and the staff left my room key in a locker by the entrance for self-check-in. It took me a bit of time to find my room initially. The bathrooms are communal and located outside the rooms, requiring a trip outdoors to use them. However, the communal areas are well-kept, and all facilities are fully equipped.
Considering all factors, the value for money at this accommodation is excellent. If you're looking to deeply appreciate Grindelwald's natural beauty and want a great base for sightseeing and photography, this hostel is a perfect choice.

A lovely Swiss-style hotel located perfectly on the river front in the beautiful Interlaken Snowy mountains viewable from the bedroom window really made it a picturesque setting. Although visiting in the warmer months would be just as good. We were warmly welcomed by an enthusiastic employee, a Canadian woman who’s name we didn’t get. She made recommendations on restaurants, which were amazing, and also places to go and visit in the surrounding region. She even checked the live cameras on top of the mountains to provide us with weather conditions - amazing customer service. We highly recommend taking a train to Lauterbrunnen followed by the gondola up to Murren - the place is stunning and the views are incredible! Breakfast was enjoyable and included fresh bread from the bakery over the road, homemade Bircher muesli and the best green tea I’ve ever had! A breathtaking trip which has us wanting to go back as soon as possible!

JuannebellaThank you Mr Jean-Louis for your generosity and hospitality! It’s nice meeting you in person. Hotel Rossli is clean and comfy, located strategically close to train and bus stops. They also give to us Visitors Card through our stay (doesn’t need further validation, but just hop on and hop off the public transport within the inclusive area which was explained clearly to us during check in) which even covers the public transport to visit St Beatus Waterfall and Isewald for “Steg Crash Landing on You” viewpoint and Brienzersee Lakewalk, The location also made it easy for us to travel to both Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. Can’t believe we could manage to visit so many places with just a 2 nights stay. The hotel is also within walking distance to nearby grocery stores. Last but not least, the hotel also provides common/shared kitchen with microwave oven and unlimited coffee and teas! And there are many many TV channels, even more TV channels than usual 4 or 5 stars hotels. All in all, highly recommend. Would come back and stay again 😊

Guest UserClose to the West Station, if you take the bus from the Jungfrau, and the bus is only two miles in an hour, but only two stations are also very fast. Although there are restaurants downstairs in the hotel, it is very quiet. It was the curtain that couldn't stop the light, and the Christmas tree outside was still lit up for a night.捂脸🤦♀️

When we found this hostel through navigation, my friends didn't believe it. They said it looked more and more like a hotel. We spent a very pleasant day here.

We had such a wonderful stay at Lake Lodge Hotel and truly loved our experience here.
The receptionist was absolutely amazing — so warm, kind and genuinely helpful. She very kindly upgraded us from a single room to a queen-size bed room, which we deeply appreciated. Her hospitality really made our stay extra special.
The hotel offers fantastic value for money. Our room came with a balcony overlooking the lake, and the view is simply stunning. During golden hour, the scenery becomes absolutely gorgeous. Waking up in this quiet little town, facing the calm lake and mountains, feels priceless. It’s peaceful, beautiful and truly relaxing. The offer coffee bread at the breakfast area absolutely free.
Migros is about 12 km away, so do plan ahead if you need groceries. There is no lift in the hotel, but we didn’t mind carrying our luggage upstairs.
For light sleepers, it’s worth noting that you can hear some activity from nearby rooms or from upstairs and downstairs. However, the hotel is very thoughtful and provides earplugs in the room, which we appreciated.
The bathroom is shared, and initially we were unsure about it. But it’s only a few steps away from the room and was not inconvenient at all. There is a wash basin inside the room, which makes things easier and practical.
We honestly feel this place is underrated and deserves more recognition and positive reviews. It may be simple, but it offers charm, warmth and one of the most beautiful lake views you can wake up to. Sometimes you don’t need luxury — just a clean bed, a basin, a balcony and a breathtaking view.
We loved it so much and would absolutely return. It’s a beautiful place that truly deserves more appreciation.

XiaxiaxiayiranSwitzerland is really beautiful to live in Grindelwald. This hotel apartment is generally ordinary, but the scenery is really beautiful. If you want to live in the mountains, you need to choose what traffic is. Going to the center to shop needs to take the bus. It takes only a few minutes to take the bus. If you choose to walk for about 20 minutes, it will be very dry. The hotel can cook things but there is no range hood, so we can do it on the balcony, otherwise the whole room will smell of oily smoke. But watching the beautiful scenery cook and eat is also a special experience. It is worth coming once in a lifetime! But let me go for the second time, I will choose to live in interlaken or Tuen, young people are suitable for going to places with many people, and Greendwa is enough to go back and forth on the same day alone. Staying for 7 days is a bit boring

WENYONGThe hotel is located in the hills on the edge of the town of Interlaken. It is also 5-8 minutes drive from the train station. The hotel is similar to the Youth Hostel, shared bathroom and bathroom, but it is clean. The boss knew that we were preparing for breakfast in the early morning and let us take it away. Good choice!

Hotel is a 10-15mins walk from Interlaken West station. Surrounding has quite a number of cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. It is also in a scenic part of Interlaken where you can see the mountains and the blue waters in the stream which makes for great photos. You can also spot para gliders too. If you walk along the lake you can reach Interlaken Ost station in about 20mins or so. Quite a nice walk along the river!
The hotel itself is 3-storey. Everything is pretty much self service and there is no reception/staff around - you key in a code to enter the main entrance, and there is a desktop/tablet for you to check in yourself. There is a small luggage room for you to leave your luggage inside. There is also a small common pantry with some basic electrical appliances like kettle and fridge for guests. There is no lift and you have to carry your luggage up the spiral staircase.
The room itself is small, clean and simple - just a bed, some hangers and a toilet. There is no TV. Hotel left a toblerone chocolate on the bed as a gift for us which is cute. Also found out that the owner owns a cafe around the corner (called “Spatz”) and we were given a coffee voucher which was nice. We needed some help with check in and we went to the cafe to look for the owner for help, and he kindly helped us.
