The location is great and very close to the main bus/train stations of Interlaken Ost/West. Bonus was that you and your guests get free bus passes from the hostel to use multiple trains/bus stations (a certain list). This was a pleasant surprise and made our stay easy. There is a bus stop RIGHT outside the hostel. - The staff was very helpful, warm, and welcoming. - The garden is pretty, and it was nice using the free lockers when we arrived early before check-in. - Our private quadruple room was spacious, the beds were comfy, and the private in-suite toilet/bathroom were clean. - Plenty of plugs and outlets, liked the little shelves above each bunk bed. - The breakfast was minimal, but enough. Toast, jam, butter, yogurt, cereal, granola, juices, and a tea/coffee machine! Enough to get through you through the morning. - Had occupants of all ages, thought it'd be a rowdy, super young population, but saw Seniors to early 20s crowd! - Hard to find seating in the morning during breakfast, some come early, or may need to take back to your room. - You only get 1 towel per person, per stay. I wish if you were staying more than 2 days, you get another complimentary towel. - No AC in the room. But all these makes sense because it's a budget hostel.
