I must commend the hotel for maintaining the highest standards of service over the many years (20) I have been staying there on business. A lot of this is down to the dedication and attention to detail provided by the staff - especially those who have loyally worked in the hotel for years. I want in particular to highlight the personal attention and service that Mr Aslam provides not just to me but to every customer. He is a real ambassador for the hotel. A star!

The whole hotel is indeed as big as a palace. You have to drive from the outside to the entrance. The decoration is quite elegant. The room facilities are not bad. Jeddah is really wet compared to Riyadh

We booked here after our tour company booked us into another “4” star hotel that was terrible. Booked with 10 mins notice - room was ready when we got there. Extremely happy with our decision to book address - hotel is modern, decent size rooms , Dead Sea products in the bathroom - extra large comfy bed - large buffet with omelette and pancake station. Gym wasn’t open as it was being renovated but not essential. About 5 mins walk from cornice and walking distance to many restaurants. Highly recommend if needing to stay in Jeddah with an exceptional 4 star hotel.

The room is big and the location is good, not far from the airport. But the room wifi doesn't work as soon as you enter the door. I called the front desk and asked to go downstairs to fix it. I was given a new account, but it didn't work again after a day. The service attitude is also average. But the room is still clean and the facilities are good. I hope the wireless network can be improved.

GGuest UserI stayed for 4 days in this hotel as part of quarantine package in the month of feb 22. Amazing room with all digital controlled circuits be it curtains, room lighting, cooling system. Beautiful decorated spacious rooms. Food was better than expected. Being vegetarian, I know my options were going to be very limited but chef really helped me by making veg pastas and falafel sandwich etc. I would like to stay here again, for sure not under quarantine package, to explore more on the available facilities. Here I would like to give special thanks to the reception team (sorry I forgot the name of the lady and the guy on the reception ) who were always ready to helped me and assist at each and every steps during quarantine. A will surely stay again in this hotel.
AAlleynaThe staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were great. The location was perfect - close to the city centre and attractions. The hotel had great facilities and was very convenient. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of options. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel was beautiful and the decor was modern and stylish. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserI spent a weekend there during the month Of March. Hotel is nicely located - quiet district although it is hard sometimes to find a suitable car parking - hotel parking is full and same goes for the surrounding Room is spacious - I have booked an executive suite 2 bedrooms- it is perfectly suitable for a family of 4 Cozy Restaurant - matching with hotel size- breakfast buffet was included in the price. Variety is OK Lobby is a bit small, they have a fitness with a covered swimming pool - tiny one - Building apparently is old… furniture in rooms , lobby & restaurants are exhausted and need to be changed Overall the hotel with its prices & services is worth to stay I do recommend it for families I’ll come back again
GGuest UserI am staying at Carawan Hotel Jeddah since 8 days and have a reservation for another 4 nights Yesterday I found couple of small cockroaches in the room and complained about them to the receptionist and he started smiling as if this a a normal thing for him and promised me to change the rooms within no time Nothing happened and I went out and came late Today again I found cockroaches crawling on the bed and went down to the reception immediately and again he promised to change in half an hour Waiting for an hour I went down and was told that the “labours” are on break and will be back after half an hour I asked him to connect me to the manager and he refused to give me his no and upon my insistence he called him and His excellently the manager refused to speak with me and I was told to go back to the room and wait I am also refused refund as this is a prepaid online reservation house keeping is on ”request” and not on daily basis
GGuest User1. I had european devices. No converters were available . This was my 3rd hotel in ksa and the onlz one that didnt have converter. The reception tried to work the problem out, sent me a technician who made a temp solition for one device but honesyly this was so bad . Not having converter 2. While being out i tried to contact the reception many times as i needed to ask about atms around . It was after midnight, 5 times i called and nobodz replied 3. The hotel is very far away from jeddah center 4. Room is cold even though weather is hot and ac i turned off. 5. I went to 3 hotels as said in 10 days in ksa, this is the least i enjoyed. 6. I honestly wouldnt consider coming ti this hotel again although the staff are so friendly but i had the impression that when i needed support , nothing happened . But the people's attitude was friendly to be honest but at the end of the day i wouldnt come again
The receptionist was making strange jokes which was unprofessional. We were told to call from room if we needed anything. Telephone was not working when we tried to call reception and inform that there were no towels in the room. I had to go down to reception from the 5th floor to ask for towels. The breakfast was of low quality. Better not to eat the breakfast. Room needs refurbishment. Would not recommend to anyone to stay in this hotel ever.
AAnonymous UserThe place was clean and tidy, although I had a hard time finding the entrance of the hotel. I was not able to see the pool since I checked in late at night but next time I will be availing their amenities.
AAnonymous UserThe price of the hotel is quite reasonable in Saudi Arabia. The room is large, the lighting is good, and the cost performance is high. There is a big fountain next to it, and it is very beautiful by the sea. The location is still good, and it is convenient to eat and shop around. The disadvantage is that the facilities are relatively old. The hotel system is really interesting. They arranged a room that has not been checked out, and you have to go to the front desk to change it. The door lock is particularly difficult to open. It depends on luck every time you open the door. It takes many attempts to open it when you ask the waiter to open it. There is no chair in the room to use the computer, but there is a sofa outside, so you can make do with it. In general, it is still good, and the flaws do not outweigh the merits.

RRAJASEKARKThis is indian owned oberai group having it's presence in Jeddah. Choose this being an Indian hotel so easy to get Indian food. The property is slightly away from other main hotels in town. Not a great entrance to attract you with. Lobby on first floor. Impressed with the front desk who kept everything ready for me to check in at 4 in the morning. Loved the breakfast with indian poori, dosa and chutnies. Decent price. Good service The property is old but remember you will end up seeing same even in other branded ones. Strongly advised for Indians. Clean rooms. Ironboard available.
___Zainab_PThe room was really clean and extremely comfortable, and definitely helped given that we had a long layover.
However, the service is really bad. We had to wait in a queue for about an hour just to get to the reception desk. Apparently it’s always like that so I don’t really understand the value of making reservations ahead of time. They definitely are understaffed. If they can’t hire anyone else then the least they could do is issue out tickets and have enough seating to accommodate guests so that people aren’t frustrated.
Amenities are decent but there’s no dental kit or even a bin in the bathroom.
