The hotel’s location on Al Olaya Street is excellent, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and shops, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. Many guests find the rooms spacious and reasonably comfortable, and the staff generally friendly and helpful, especially at reception. Cleanliness is usually above average, and the hotel feels modern compared to typical budget options. However, there are some downsides worth noting. A number of travelers report noise from Olaya Street at night, so light sleepers might want an interior‑facing room. A few guests also mention issues with Wi‑Fi consistency and varying breakfast quality, with limited variety on some mornings. Some rooms can feel dated or a bit dimly lit, and occasional maintenance issues (like slow shower drains) have been mentioned in reviews. Bottom line: Good choice for a central, budget‑friendly stay with friendly service and clean rooms, but expect some noise and minor service inconsistencies.

The hotel is a few blocks from the beach, but it's only a few minutes' taxi ride away, so the location is pretty good, and it's great value for money. The hotel breakfast is made by Indian chefs and features a lot of Indian curries and other dishes, offering a decent variety. The room is a bit small; the double bed is smaller than those at Aloft, making it feel a little cramped. The rooftop pool, however, is quite nice.

I love the huge room with living room, big bed and amenities. Location is very close to airport, only 6 minutes by car. Safe hotel for solo travelers especially women.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel and were very satisfied with the overall experience. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, and the room was spotless and well-maintained. We initially booked a standard room for two ladies, but to our pleasant surprise, the hotel upgraded us to a junior suite at no extra cost. We didn’t catch the names of the staff who assisted us, but we would like to express our sincere gratitude for their thoughtful gesture and warm hospitality. Since we are from Riyadh, our friends from Jeddah came to visit us at the hotel. What was supposed to be a simple overnight stay turned into a fun and memorable get-together, as the suite was very spacious and even had a comfortable living area — perfect for bonding and relaxation. We highly recommend Radisson Blu Hotel to anyone visiting Jeddah. Everything was beyond our expectations — the service, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere were outstanding. Inshallah, when we visit Jeddah again, we will definitely stay here once more. 🌟

We stayed at InterContinental Jeddah for three nights over New Year’s Eve, expecting a special experience, but unfortunately the service was mediocre and underwhelming. Despite contacting the hotel two weeks in advance and receiving confirmation, the room was not prepared for three people upon arrival. Communication with reception and housekeeping was disappointing. An additional bed had to be requested twice, and when it finally arrived it was set up with a questionable brown blanket instead of proper white bedding. It took further effort to have it corrected. We also had to repeatedly ask for an extra towel for the third guest. The instant service phone line was constantly busy, forcing us to walk to reception multiple times. Even basic items like bath gel dispenser were not refilled, we had to call. Guest Relations contacted us via WhatsApp to ask about our stay, but after we responded, there was no reply at all—it appeared to be an automated message. Reception staff were forgetful and not proactive, despite the reception never being particularly busy during our stay. When asking about New Year’s Eve events, no one mentioned or attempted to upsell the hotel’s own buffet or any other activities. We only discovered the daily buffet (available until 1 a.m.) later when speaking directly with restaurant staff. There was also no information provided about Africa Cup screenings. On a positive note, the facilities are clean and well maintained, and the breakfast staff were the only truly attentive and professional team members throughout our stay. Particular thanks to the Egyptian(?) manager and his team. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the service level does not currently reflect the InterContinental brand, especially for a holiday stay.

It was a truly wonderful stay in every sense of the word. The cleanliness was excellent, and the service was very sophisticated. The staff's interaction was respectful and kind throughout my stay. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the small details were exceptional, making me feel cared for and at ease. The location is excellent, and the atmosphere is beautiful. I thank the hotel management and all the staff for their warm welcome and professionalism. I will definitely be visiting again.

All is good overall. They may just need to review the feedback on Google and use it as an evaluation to improve quality. During my stay, no towels were provided initially, so I had to ask. Also, my key card was only set for one night even though I stayed for two. They should pay more attention to the bed sheets, as I found some hair and stains on them. It’s actually a nice hotel, just needs some improvements. I don’t expect the same level of hospitality as in Asia, but if they could improve in that area, it would be even better. Thank you so much!

The hotel is located across a street from Binhai Pedestrian Street. Bath towels and towels were not provided on the night of check-in, and breakfast was very simple. Not a good experience.

Exceptional Service: This is where the hotel truly excels. A special mention must be made for Mr. Kamal Uddian from room service. · He is highlighted as ”really great” – energetic, soft-spoken, and incredibly helpful. · His ability to speak Hindi is a major plus for Indian subcontinent travelers. · He goes above and beyond to assist with arranging food, cabs, or any other requests, making guests feel well-supported. The hotel does not have its own restaurant or room service for food. However, this is easily compensated for by the plethora of nearby walkable food shops and restaurants. Highly recommended for business travelers, tourists, and pilgrimage visitors (Umrah) looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient base in Jeddah. The mcombination of location, room amenities, and Kamal's exemplary service makes for a very pleasant and hassle-free stay. Just be prepared to explore the local area for your meals.
