"The hotel and breakfast were very good! However, the free shuttle arrangements could definitely be improved. When we arrived at the Jeddah airport, we were totally lost trying to find where to board the shuttle and ended up just taking a taxi to the hotel instead. On the bright side, the hotel receptionist was super helpful and sorted out our shuttle back to the airport for the next day with no issues. I really hope Trip.com and the hotel start clearly showing a WhatsApp contact number to make communication easier. Also, the Trip.com AI assistant was no help at all when we were stuck."

"Here’s my itinerary and travel tips for Jeddah. I stayed at Rixos Hotel and overall it was a great experience. The food was excellent with a wide variety of options. One great thing is that the stay becomes all-inclusive, even if you originally book without meals. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I wish they had was a Qur’an available in the rooms."

"- The location was ultimately the only downside for me, as the central area I chose, with its multi-lane roads that can only be crossed every few kilometers via pedestrian bridges, is really more suited to drivers! Reaching the green bus line L9 takes about 20 minutes, and the yellow L14 (airport bus with very irregular schedules) takes about 30 minutes. Walking to the pedestrian-friendly Corniche takes about 2 hours for just under 8 km, and as a lone pedestrian on the main roads or in front of guarded facilities, you can easily be stopped and harassed (for no reason)! Incidentally, there's a very small park within walking distance, and a bit further on, a larger one where you can sit in the sun (sun loungers are not allowed!). - Cleanliness/Service: The room was very clean upon arrival. During my 7-day stay, I never pressed the ”please make my room” button by the bed, so I didn't have any additional cleaning services. These took place in the surrounding rooms in the late afternoon/early evening, so I often got fresh towels and water bottles from the friendly staff, which was sufficient for me. The gym and jacuzzi were also clean. I can offer a few tips for the latter: initially, the water is cold and the pump is weak, which isn't ideal. The buttons for the heating and a stronger pump are located in the ”staff only” room, and if you make sure the staff member activates them all, you can enjoy a pleasant bathing and jet massage experience a short time later. Unfortunately, I only discovered this myself quite late! You should also bring something to protect your ears because the pump is very loud. - Peace and quiet/Other: Although my room was near the elevator, I didn't hear anything from it, except perhaps when people had conversations right outside the door, as is the case in pretty much every hotel. Overall, I was usually able to sleep well and for long periods here. The highlight was that, although the booked breakfast wasn't available during Ramadan, there was a varied cold and hot buffet in the evening that wasn't boring even on the sixth evening :) While you couldn't connect anything else to the TV, Netflix and YouTube were available."

"The hotel is nice. Very clean rooms. The breakfast may be the best breakfast spread we’ve had at a midrange hotel. We looked forward to it every day. Arabic coffee and dates in the lobby is a nice treat too. But the pool and “spa” need a lot of work. The sauna and steam room don’t work. Broken panels on the wall. Kind of gross. But overall recommend for the room and breakfast."

The hotel was elegant, clean, and very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made our stay feel relaxing and special. The staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made a great impression on us from check-in until departure. The amenities were excellent and well maintained, and the room was spacious, tidy, and comfortable. We especially appreciated the quality of service and the smooth overall experience throughout our stay. The location was also convenient and added to the enjoyment of the visit. We would happily stay here again and would recommend Hilton Jeddah to couples looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."
