Very nice hotel with good location next to the best mall in Yogyakarta. The hotel retains the grandeur of old era with large and cozy lobby areas with plenty of sofas for relaxing or to meet guests. The hotel has the larger than average room sizes. However, the rooms need to have better lightings overall but especially in the bathrooms.
The hotel has shown signs of need for another round of renovation. Start with the lightings then the beddings as well as improving the sound barriers.
During the last night of our stay, the hotel hosted a party in the backyard. The sounds of music was so loud, it was hard for me to sleep. Sending a note to the hotel guests about having a party in the evening does NOT mean that they can just host a party with such loud music in the backyard. Alternatively, the hotel can invest in serious sound proofing if they plan to have parties in the backyard or pool.

dyhx1.5 hrs ride from YIA Airport, but conveniently linked to Pukawon Mall that has pretty much everything you need from nails spa, massage to cinema, shops, eateries, restaurants to supermarket. It's easy (and cheap) to get a grab (local Uber) so not a challenge to get around even to further places.
The room was spacious even for 2, including the bathroom area. Clean and well maintained, cute crab-shaped towel art and welcome amenities as a Bonvoy Gold member. Beds and pillows are a bit soft for my liking (even when I opted for a foam pillow from their pillow menu) but that's a personal preference. All amenities provided in the bathroom.
Service was amazing, such warm smiles and great initiative, from the bell boy who helped with our luggage immediately after we got off the car, to the friendly front desk staff, to the security guards who holds the doors open for us and most of all, the helpful and thoughtful housekeeping team. They saw that we had limited hanging space with too much clothes and put in a standing laundry rack for us, and additional bottles of water, all without asking. Special shout-out to Deelen, Wahyu for the superb service.
The pool looked amazing though I didn't get to try it this time.
Breakfast was also excellent, a wide spread of local, western and Asian. They also offer interesting local herbal beverages. Solomon was thoughtful and offered us to order special items off the buffet when he found out it was our 3rd day of having breakfast at the hotel.
Overall a wonderful stay and I'll be sure to stay here the next time I visit Jogja again.

perochamIt was a shame the water slide was undergoing long-term maintenance, but other than that, I have no complaints. The sunset view from the 8th-floor terrace is magnificent. The bread from the hotel's bakery is also delicious. I think this is now my preferred hotel in Yogyakarta. As for the location, while it's far from the city center, it's close to Borobudur and Jomblang Cave, and you avoid traffic jams, which turned out to be a good thing. Yogyakarta isn't a very big city, so there's not much benefit to staying in the center just to walk around. However, even though you can easily catch a Grab from the hotel to the city, it takes about 30 minutes one way, making it difficult to return to the hotel for a quick break. Despite this, the facilities and hospitality more than make up for it.

R FirmI had an issue with my room, but the on-duty manager handled it very well and with great poise. They provided a quick and effective solution, showing clear leadership and decisiveness. Thanks to their prompt action we were able to spend the night comfortably and peacefully. The room itself was fine and well soundproofed. Overall, excellent problem resolution and a restful stay.

Anonymous UserMy stay at Loman Park Hotel was adequate, but the property appears to be showing its age and would benefit from significant maintenance and refurbishment.
While the staff were generally pleasant and the location was convenient, many of the facilities and amenities felt run down and poorly maintained. The overall condition of the hotel gave the impression that routine upkeep has not been a priority for some time.
In particular, the room furnishings showed noticeable wear and tear. The towels provided were frayed and worn out, and several cushions in the room and common areas appeared aged, flattened, and overdue for replacement. These details detracted from the comfort and quality one would expect from a hotel of this standard.
A more concerning issue was the hygiene of the bottled drinking water containers provided in the room. Upon inspection, black mould-like growth was visible on the silicone stoppers of the glass bottles. This raised serious concerns about cleaning procedures and attention to sanitation standards. Given that these containers are intended for drinking water, this was particularly disappointing and undermined confidence in the hotel's overall hygiene practices.
Overall, Loman Park Hotel offers a functional stay, but the deteriorating condition of the facilities, lack of maintenance, and hygiene concerns mean that there is considerable room for improvement. With greater attention to refurbishment, cleanliness, and replacement of worn amenities, the guest experience could be significantly enhanced.

Guest UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel. Unfortunately, after two stays, I still haven't had the chance to experience the rooftop vibes (maybe next time). In terms of location, it's not as strategic as its sister properties, but I like the neighborhood because it's close to a minimarket and also near my old university. Usually, it's easy to find food in this area, but since I stayed during the Eid holiday, it was a bit harder to find. For those looking for a place to stay in Jogja, I recommend this hotel because the rooms, facilities, etc., are all great. I got room 601, which has a view of the main road. Oh, and I'd like to thank the helpful staff for lending me a hot water kettle because I didn't realize my room didn't come with tea/coffee amenities. I actually had a sore throat at the time and needed warm water. So, for those who want tea/coffee, please get it above Starsleep, because those rooms definitely won't have tea/coffee, hehehe. A small suggestion for the security/valet staff: a warmer smile for guests would be great so that a comfortable vibe is felt even before reaching the front desk, as they are, after all, the frontline at the hotel's entrance. Thank you! ✌️♡

Here’s
The property is quite old and is no longer under Sheraton management, which is noticeable throughout the hotel. The toilets and ceilings feel outdated and in need of renovation, and the same applies to the air conditioning system, which doesn’t perform up to expectations.
That said, the staff are very cooperative, friendly, and always willing to help, which is definitely a positive aspect of the stay.

The hotel feels a bit old, the lobby is OK, but the lighting in the room is too dim and I'm not used to it. The service staff is very good. My friend left the things he brought in the lobby and almost forgot about them when we left. Thanks for reminding me.

It was the perfect place to unwind. Beautiful and fully equipped, even with a private pool. It was far enough from the center for peace and quiet, but you could be in the hustle and bustle in a few minutes if you wanted. Kid-friendly.

A hotel with an old building located in Kaliurang, if your goal is the Lava Merapi Tour then this is a highly recommended hotel.
The rooms are clean and spacious although there needs to be an improvement in the quality of some items in the bathroom.
Overall this is a very good hotel for its price range.
