AAulia BimoHotel are great for theme-park only, very creative and attractive. For the service and room experiences, is not proper as 5-star hotel. It should downgrade to 3-star hotel with the room facilities, design, and services as general.

GGuest UserIncredible stay! We booked a night here after a disaster at a neighbouring hotel and our stay was one of the best in Indonesia. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with astonishing hospitality from all the staff members but especially Reza who went above and beyond to ensure that we were welcome and comfortable in the hotel. The facilities are top quality, the room was very clean and extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. The gardens and hotel grounds are extremely well maintained, beautiful, and have lots of space for relaxation or, if you have kids, spaces to keep kids entertained. The hotel has ample options for food/drink and also entertainment and also offers tours of the local area. It was also my girlfriend's birthday and the staff again put in genuine effort to make it a really special day for her, we are extremely grateful for their efforts - 5 star service.
I can strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an escape from the city and to be near mount merapi or who wants a bit of relaxation.

The à la carte breakfast was particularly outstanding! The service was very warm and attentive, always ready to assist with any issues.
Areas for improvement: The room design is slightly impractical. The price is a bit high.

MMrSenGreat hotel, good view from the room at the city. But even better (actually amazing) 360° view from the rooftop, including of course towards Merapi.
The room is good, there is a nice pool on the rooftop, as well as a good bar. No pool towels, though.
The gym is very small and has a funny triangular shape, was a bit overcrowded with only 6 people at the same time.
Only downside was the breakfast, fresh omelette was good, but some of the sweet bakery goods among the most tasteless things I've ever had.
That said, still a great hotel with a nice art focused lobby and friendly staff. Would recommend.

JJaneYeqThe room was quite spacious. I booked a twin room, and since the beds weren't particularly wide, I asked them to combine them into one large bed, which they did. The hotel breakfast was absolutely fantastic! There was a wide variety of food, and everything tasted great. Next to the restaurant, there's a small kids' play area, which was a nice little break for parents. The pool was just okay, not particularly clean. However, near the pool, there's a children's playroom, which was great – it had toys and books, and my child really enjoyed it. Parking was also very convenient, and all the staff were very friendly.

GGuest UserPrior to my arrival date, I received a message that the room i booked is under renovation and was offered a different room type which is smaller. From my understanding, it’s a down grade. They should have offered to upgrade instead.
I didn’t cancel my booking as I needed to stay in the hotel to watch a concert held there for convenience. They compensated with dinner meal.
The replacement room is okay.
Location - a bit far from everywhere. But since I booked this hotel for concert purpose, then it’s good for me.
Breakfast option is quite plenty.

The property is quite old and is no longer under Sheraton management, which is noticeable throughout the hotel. The toilets and ceilings feel outdated and in need of renovation, and the same applies to the air conditioning system, which doesn’t perform up to expectations.
That said, the staff are very cooperative, friendly, and always willing to help, which is definitely a positive aspect of the stay.
