Scenic Hotels in Phi Phi Islands

"Booked the cheapest room, but got a free upgrade upon arrival. Also they allowed me to check-in earlier, which was very nice. The house I stayed in was very clean, no bugs at all. Some things to keep in mind: - the resort is quite big, so if you end up staying in farther houses, you’ll need to walk to the restaurant and Viking beach for around 5 minutes. The pathways are kinda steep, so it can be inconvenient for elderly and kids or at night; - the walk from the pier to the resort takes around 25 minutes. The views along the way are spectacular. The pathway is manageable even if you wear flip-flops, but I don’t think you should try it if your group has an elder or a kid. I’ll attach some photos of the path for reference; - there’s a lot of cats! Sadly I didn’t have any cat food with me. So if you have a chance, bring cat food! 😁 - you can actually walk to the Long Beach, it will take 5 minutes or so. But the path is not for a weak… You need to hold ropes to climb or to get down. The last photo is the part of that path."

"The hotel location is absolutely amazing, Breathtaking views, quiet, relaxing, Natural, access to snorkelling. The food they had in the hotel: some of it was really really good, and some of it was not so good. The only weakness is the fact that the logistics to get there by boat are quite complicated ~ I found a single fast boat provider which can directly access the resort but they only have one boat a day all the rest require you to stop and switch companies in the middle. Once i found out which food in the resort was better i ordered that more frequently. If you wait for low tide you can walk along the beach to get to the village and avoid the other resort but during high tide that's impossible. A staff were very good and provided access to snorkeling equipment were happy to help you drive up the steep mountain and even helped with luggage whenever needed (We always walked down, but the walk back up was hard, and were happy for their service). 酒店地理位置绝对令人惊叹，景色令人叹为观止，安静、放松、自然，可以浮潜。他们在酒店吃的食物：有些真的很好，有些不太好。唯一的弱点是，乘船到达那里的物流非常复杂~我找到了一家快速船供应商，可以直接进入度假村，但他们每天只有一艘船，其余的都需要你在在中间停下来换公司。一旦我发现度假胜地的哪些食物更好，我就更频繁地点。如果你等待退潮，你可以沿着海滩走到村庄，避开其他度假胜地，但在涨潮时这是不可能的。工作人员非常好，提供浮潜设备。他们很乐意帮助你开车上山，甚至在需要的时候帮忙拿行李（我们总是走下去，但走回去很难，我们很高兴他们的服务）。"

"I booked the cheapest room, but it still came with central air conditioning, which was nice. The pool was also quite large. The only downside was that there seemed to be some construction or renovation happening outside. It was very convenient to walk out for meals or to the pier. After a day out at sea, coming back to sleep there at night was perfect. It's great value for money. I didn't take any pictures of the room, so here are some from Maya Bay instead."

"Great location, easy to access the whole town but not noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful, our bags were carried to our room and there is also a pier collection service. However we weren't aware of this so made our own way to the hotel so be sure to ask! The bed is clean, comfortable and big! Water, tea and coffee everyday with room clean if needed. The drain in our shower was blocked when we arrived but we reported this and it was swiftly fixed. There is a small communal area downstairs for games, reading, drinks with friends etc but it's never loud/busy. There is also a night manager who is available in the front lobby throughout the night which I really liked and made me feel safe. He has excellent English and is kind and helpful. Be aware that you must have a 1k Baht cash deposit on check in. We had no issues getting it back at checkout. (Unrelated note: The hotel is nearby to a great trip operator - book the early bird Maya Bay trip with Sawsdee Phi Phi, you won't regret it. We also booked our ferry through him and it all went smoothly and much cheaper than GYG or 12Go.)"

"This resort is beautiful. It is on the side of the island and about 15 minutes walk from the centre. They have somebody that takes your bags to the hotel, that is very confenient. Rooms are very big with aircon. They have a pool that can be used and chairs next to the ocean. Breakfast was very nice. They only thing missing for us, was a good bar. But for the rest it was very nice."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always greeted guests with a warm smile, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel environment is beautiful and relaxing, with a great location near the beach. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and attention to detail could be seen throughout the property. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant vacation experience."

"Check in was a breeze with luggage handlers helping carry your luggage from the pier to the hotel. The reception girls are really lovely and helpful with whatever request you might have(like booking boats to your next destination), just remember to say please and thank you(kohp khun ka/krap). The hotel is the last one on the pier side bay, therefore is really quiet, even now in high season. The down low is that you have to walk 20minutes to restaurants and bars on 30+ degree heat + high humity,so expect to arrive sweating both ways. The hotel itself is probably 40/50 years old and seems that never been renovated, the inside of the rooms need freshing up,paint etc...an overall renovation of the whole building. Although the rooms were clean, aircon was good and our room with the pool access(1 of 3) had great views from the bay. Pool was also clean and it was at a good temperature. If you are here for just a couple of days it is fine. Breakfast is basic but they have an egg station, so you can order your eggs however you prefer. And the black coffee was great too(better than other hotels we stayed in Bangkok/Krabi). The hotel staff were very kind to supply my wife with Flying Rabbit(a local thai version of gaviscon/diarrhoea medicine) which helped a mild food poisoning combined with charcoal tablets. Moreover, the hotel has a little private beach with sun lounges at the very end of the bay, perfect for chilling when you don't have any boat trips booked for the morning. Be aware that it becomes shady after around 3pm because its so close to the mountain. Also there were monkeys signs on your doors to keep them lock to prevent curious monkeys of rummaging through your stuff but we haven't seen any during our 3 night stay. Would I stay at this hotel again? Probably not unless completely renovated:, too far from the restaurants and bars and very old/tired. Make sure you use some walking shoes when going out because you definitely gonna hit that 10000 steps mark."

"A nice hotel that’s really close to the beach at the back of the place. Unfortunately we didn’t have good experiences with the food or the service. For example at breakfast they served shrimp fried rice with the poop sack still attached and a lot of flies were around the fruit in the mornings. Also the day before we were due to leave I had one of the house keeping staff drop an iron off at my room. Without hearing an answer came into my room and opened the bathroom door where I was showering. I had music on at the time so I’ve no idea happened and I asked her to leave immediately. I went to the door a minute later to get the iron and she also left a set of keys with me- no idea why or why yay they were for but she appeared 2 hours later asking for them so I hope they weren’t for the surrounding rooms! The view from the pool at the back and the fruit shakes were really good but I wouldn’t stay here again"

"This is a fabulous place to stay. It’s tucked away in the corner of a beautiful beach so it’s peaceful and chilled but still walking distance (5mins) to the main shops, cafes, bars and harbour of PhiPhi. The bamboo huts are very solid and appeared to be really well sealed so no bugs getting in and excellent at holding the cool air from the air conditioner inside. Very comfy bed, soft bed linen, good pillows, bathrobes, bottled water and good quality toiletries all provided. Gorgeous bathroom with great showers. Welcome drink and snacks provided in the room. The breakfast buffet was incredible- so much choice and everything was delicious. We also ate lunch here one day and dinner here one night and both were delicious, The swim up pool bar was a real treat with happy hour 2 for one cocktails from 3-5 as well as delicious smoothies ice cream and made to order sushi available. The pool is stunning of with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Pool towels supplied. Also possible to hire canoes and stand up paddle boards to take out on the bay. (1 hour included for free for all guests). The staff were lovely at all times. A delight to deal with at all times. Lastly yes you can hear the noise from the bar across the bay in the evenings from 10 to 2:30 am but the resort supplies ear plugs and we all slept perfectly fine every night. If you are sensitive to noise maybe bring some noise blocking ear plugs but don’t let that be the reason you miss out on staying in this stunning resort."
