"Pretty good! I booked for two nights and then extended for another. I visited during the off-season, so the room rate was very affordable. I booked the cheapest room, and they kindly upgraded us, which was wonderful. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic, providing us with unlimited bottled water, and their service was prompt. The hotel was renovated two years ago, so everything is relatively new, cozy, and comfortable. The area nearby is quite bustling with plenty of food options; the small shops downstairs all serve delicious food. It's also convenient to get to all the tourist attractions by taxi. There were a couple of minor downsides, though. First, the bathroom drain had a bad odor, mainly because the toilet's plumbing wasn't properly installed during construction. Also, the soundproofing was just average. I booked two rooms next to each other and could hear my family talking, even recognizing their voices. However, since there were no other guests staying next to us, it wasn't really an issue."

"This hotel offers great value for money. The room was spotlessly clean and well-arranged. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and enthusiastically recommended sightseeing routes, which saved us a lot of time. Our entire experience was excellent. The hotel has its own parking lot, and there's a hundred-meter flower wall nearby, perfect for photos. The location is superb, very close to the attractions we wanted to visit, and we could just walk there. I genuinely recommend it!"

"I was in Hengdian for two days and one night, so a clean, well-equipped hotel was a must! This Chengyi Hotel is just a ten-minute taxi ride from Huating Night Market – super convenient location. Service: The front desk staff were amazing, and they even gave us a welcome gift upon check-in! They also delivered items with both hands, which was a lovely detail. Facilities: We upgraded to a family room, and it was even better than we imagined! All the Egyptian-themed elements – cups, tissue box, coasters, bathrobes, throw pillows, and even the plush dolls – were all genuine merchandise from the British Museum! The owner really went all out. The late-night snacks and breakfast felt on par with a five-star hotel. I'll definitely be back to Hengdian and this hotel next time!"

"This is a newly opened hotel with excellent facilities and high standards of cleanliness. It's also conveniently located near tourist attractions. As a chain hotel, it offers a reassuring stay. The rooms are equipped with fully smart amenities, which are both convenient and thoughtful. Overall, a great experience."

"Pros: The price is affordable, the overall facilities are well-maintained, and the room size was accurately advertised. The front desk staff were quick to resolve issues and always greeted me with a smile. The location is excellent, very close to Qin Palace, Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, and Dream Valley. Daily amenities were replenished, and the cleaning staff were very friendly. Cons: The unused breakfast vouchers could not be refunded (unlike the hotel next door). The breakfast selection was limited and the taste was mediocre (I felt it didn't even compare to outside breakfast stalls). On the first day of my stay, the room had a strong dusty smell, I'm not sure if it hadn't been cleaned or aired out, or if it had been vacant for too long. Overall: I'm still quite satisfied, and it's a type of place I would consider staying at again. The attached photos were taken with a wide-angle lens."

"We stayed at the Floral Hotel beside Dream Valley during Chinese New Year, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in China. While the location is already a major advantage being just steps away from Dream Valley and close to the other Hengdian attractions - what truly sets this hotel apart is the heart and personality behind it. This is not a typical boutique hotel. It’s a place shaped by the owners’ passion, taste, and genuine care for their guests. From the moment you arrive, you can feel that the hotel is a labor of love. The architecture and interior design are beautifully curated, with many pieces collected by the owners over the years. Walking through the courtyard and hallways feels like stepping into a different era, almost like entering a scene from the Song dynasty. Yet the rooms themselves are fully modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. It’s a rare blend of historical atmosphere and contemporary convenience, and it creates a sense of immersion that you simply don’t get at most hotels in the area. Even though we didn’t stay in the hotel’s best room, we were extremely comfortable. The beds are very firm - something to keep in mind depending on your preference - but we slept well. The room features a large, modern soaking tub that’s perfect after a long day of walking through the film sets and a separate bathroom and shower. And one of our favorite touches was the smart projector in the room, which turns a simple movie night into a cinematic experience. It’s small details like these that show how much thought has gone into making the stay enjoyable. But the true highlight of our visit was the hospitality. The owners are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making guests feel welcome. On one rainy day, when there wasn’t much for us to do outside, they invited us into their main hall for tea. They set up a traditional tea table with a heated brazier, creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere that felt like visiting old friends rather than staying at a hotel. They kept bringing local snacks: seeds, small rice cakes, and even freshly cooked sweet potato - all offered freely and with genuine kindness. My wife and kids loved every bit of it. What could have been a dull, rainy afternoon became one of our favorite memories of the entire trip. Their kindness extended beyond that moment. At one point, we accidentally made a mess in our room (entirely our fault) and the owners helped us clean up without a hint of frustration or judgment. It’s rare to find that level of patience and understanding, especially during the busy holiday season. Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The hotel has a local cook who clearly takes pride in her craft. The dishes were fresh and simple but full of flavor, prepared with care and attention. You could feel her pride in everything she served. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you slow down and appreciate the home cooked moment, rather than rushing through a buffet line like at larger hotels. All in all, this hotel was a true win for us. The personal touches, the warmth of the owners, the passion of the cook, and the unique atmosphere created by the carefully collected antiques all come together to create an experience that stands out among the many boutique hotels in the area. In fact, I would say it’s probably better than any other hotel around Hengdian. It’s rare to find a place that feels both deeply rooted in local culture and fully equipped with modern comforts, but this hotel manages to do exactly that. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Hengdian, whether for the parks, the film sets, or simply a relaxing getaway. And if we ever return to the area, we would stay here again without hesitation."

"I was stay at this hotel for 3 nights. Receptionist were so friendly. She makes me feel home. She helped me to call for Didi & room operating. Cleaning lady was very polite. Rooms were spacious, well decorated, clean & smell nice. Breakfast was good, surprisingly they served without me asking when am unwind in the garden. I will definetely come back 🤩"

When I checked out, they even gave me two bottles of water for the road – so thoughtful. ✅Breakfast: Breakfast is served until 10 AM, which is a dream for late risers! I had two bowls of wontons. My only 'suggestion': Can the egg chef please stop asking me 'sunny side up or over easy' every time? Just give me a soft-boiled egg, please! 😄 ✅Hanfu Experience: Free! Free! Free! The styles are quite new and don't have that cheap 'ten-yuan photo studio' feel. I spent half an hour taking photos in the hotel garden, saving myself 60 yuan on hanfu rental at the scenic spot. Small suggestion: It would be even more perfect if they could provide a few simple hair clips or fan props. With just the clothes, my hands didn't know where to go... ✅Location: It's about a 5-minute walk to the scenic area's main entrance – literally 'out the hotel door, and around the corner'. If you get tired, you can come back to relax and then head out again. It's a blessing for those traveling with seniors or children. Overall, it's a super high-value, one-stop accommodation for lazy travelers. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Hopefully, they'll have a few more XL-sized Hanfu outfits then! 😂"

"The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is not far from any scenic spot. You can park at the door and there are security guards to guide you to watch the car. It is very reassuring. The hotel is very well decorated. The rooms have full-length mirrors and are separated into dry and wet areas, so people living together don't disturb each other. It was very quiet and undisturbed to sleep at night. I lived on the side facing the villa and was in a good mood looking at the mansion! The breakfast was excellent, the millet porridge was cooked to perfection, the salad also had ice grass, the corn was super delicious, and my favorite was the fried squash. Great stay experience. I was so happy that I forgot to take pictures. I really like the decoration style of the house. The real stay experience is much better than the pictures on the Internet."
