"Lovely stay! Got the matterhorn view suite and it was so beautiful! The receptionist was also very helpful with guiding us with what we can do at Zermatt! However, need to take note that their reception will only be there till 10pm. It’s actually stated but I didn’t read it so when I arrived Zermatt train station at 11pm, I panicked a little. We flag down the taxi at my own cost, 18chf for 3 people and luggages, they dont provide free taxi after 10pm. Also, the entrance door will be closed/locked after 10pm, we rang the bell and the door opened and they left the key with a letter on the counter for the check in. The breakfast place is also overlooking the Matterhorn and it’s so pretty. Stayed for only 1 night but really enjoyed my stay there!"

"Four of us stayed for one night in two rooms at Alpenblick Superior during our trip to Switzerland. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Our room had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn, and it was very clean and peaceful, as it's not located near the main street. Do note that you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste."

"The room was incredibly spacious with breathtaking views from the window. The bathroom had a bathtub, and the shower pressure was surprisingly strong for a high-altitude location, which was very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner, included with the stay, were different every day and delicious. Catching the sunrise in the morning is an exclusive experience for guests, and on the last day, I even got to see the 'Morgenrot' (alpenglow), which was absolutely amazing. On Thursday evenings, there's a free stargazing event with commentary from University of Bern researchers, where you can admire the beautiful night sky through the hotel's top-floor telescope."

"We stayed at Hotel Butterfly for three nights during our visit to Zermatt. Overall, the experience was average and there are several areas that could be improved. The rooms were acceptable but not as clean as expected, and the bedsheets had an unpleasant smell. Amenities were very basic only towels and an all-in-one soap were provided. Items such as slippers, moisturiser, and other standard amenities were not available, and there was no fridge in the room. Drinking water was only provided on the first day, although guests can refill water at the ground floor, which we appreciated. Breakfast was below expectations, and the service could be improved. We were not informed that eggs could be ordered until we noticed them being served to another table on our last day. Additionally, items like butter ran out and were not replenished promptly. We hope the hotel will take this feedback constructively and make improvements, as Zermatt is a beautiful destination and guests would benefit from a more comfortable and attentive stay."

"the location was good. u can see matterhorn clearly but unfortunately there is a big construction crane block some view. On the way to hotel from zermatt station if you follow the google map, it gonna lead u to hard way, very high upslope hill. it will be better if hotel provide u the easy path way to hotel."

"I am travelling with my 80 years old dad and visit Zermatt/Gornergrat for a day and taking Glacier Express in next early morning, this hotel is in perfect location. Just few minutes walk to train station and Gornergrat Railway. Check in is actually happened at the hotel Simi right opposite our hotel. The room is spacious and has everything we need. Also, we have a very nice and big balcony. One thing that I want to say about is the bath tub is too high for us to step in as Asian and for 80 years old man. But overall is good. BTW, there are so many restaurants around and we just went to the Swiss Chalet right opposite our hotel, services and food is really good."

"I had no expectations because the reviews said the view of the Matterhorn was not that good, but it was in a perfect location. I was able to see the Matterhorn at sunrise from my room, and I have fond memories of eating breakfast I bought on the balcony. The bathroom was very clean, and I was able to watch Netflix on the hotel TV by connecting a Chromecast. I forgot my charger adapter, but they lent me one right away, and they also helped me store my luggage before check-in. The hotel's customer service was also great."

"Hands down, this was one of my absolute favorite places during my trip to Switzerland. Highly recommend if you're visiting Zermatt! Definitely make sure to book a room with a Matterhorn view. "This hotel is our lucky hotel! We ended the bitter wind and rain in Switzerland here and finally saw the Matterhorn! This hotel itself is also great. The interior layout and design are very cleverly using the elements of the Matterhorn. Moreover, we only made a temporary reservation at 6 or 7 last night. The lady at the front desk upgraded our room type. The room is so big and has a large balcony. There are free coffee and tea in the room. Their breakfast is also great. Because I was in a hurry to go up the mountain in the morning, I didn’t take any photos, but the breakfast is very rich, with various fresh fruits such as strawberries and kiwis, freshly fried meats such as bacon and grilled sausages, as well as vegetables such as broccoli and mushrooms, as well as various breads, juices and milk, and even freshly squeezed orange juice. You can also go to the bar and order a cappuccino. In short, you can eat very satisfying! The best thing is that this hotel also has a pick-up service. We originally had to drag the big box to the train station for more than ten minutes, and the small car took us directly there. It took a few minutes and arrived super fast! I promise that I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I come to Zermatt!"
